What do you like best about the product?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to map campaigns, processes, and run collaborative workshops, finding it good for visual clarity and team alignment. It helps turn complex ideas into clear visuals, making it easier to align teams and communicate plans quickly. I appreciate its ease of use and the flexibility of the canvas and templates, which work really well for structured planning and brainstorming. The initial setup was very easy.

Intuitive Collaboration with Scope for Flexibility

  • April 20, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite fairly intuitive with a lot of flowchart objects that offer flexibility in how I want to draw. The platform is also agnostic, meaning I can use the web version easily, which makes collaboration with other people very straightforward. It's very easy and intuitive to start drawing and sharing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I used Miro, which is a competitor platform, and I think Miro is actually a little bit more flexible. The mind mapping feature in Miro is ready out of the box. Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite wasn't as flexible, so I had to use just the normal flowchart objects to create my own version of a mind map.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite for creating mind maps and diagrams, which helps us track objectives in an OKR format. It's a good collaborative platform, useful for product work, brainstorming, and working with engineering on solutions.

User-Friendly Interface, Needs Better Large File Management

  • April 20, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite mainly for mapping out workflows and processes. It's super helpful as a whiteboard to brainstorm, allowing me to create workflows collaboratively across national and global teams. The platform is visual and easy to understand, which is perfect for virtual teams working on processes at different times. The user interface is particularly good - easy to navigate and create with. I appreciate the left-hand navigation panel which simplifies creating workflows. The live feed that shows other users on the project is great as it makes it easy to see who's working on what. The right-side mouse button provides ease in navigation though it takes a bit of getting used to. Overall, it's very user-friendly and doesn't take too long to get accustomed to. The initial setup was very easy too. I requested access through my internal IT team and got access quickly and was able to try it out with the free account which was helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the main thing is that for larger files, it doesn't feel as smooth to use. There has been issues with loading large files and even with the auto-saving.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find it easy to create workflows collaboratively across global teams. It's visual, easy to understand, and works well for virtual teams working at different times.

Clean, Easy-to-Understand UI, But Limited Shapes on the Free Plan

  • April 19, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the UI visually and how easy it is to understand. I think the software is also very helpful when drawing diagrams cause of little things like the grid background.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the limited amount of shapes I can use having only the free plan, wish it was more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes it a lot easier for me when drawing diagrams compared to other similar software.

Intuitive, Time-Saving, but Prone to Lag

  • April 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to take notes in my meetings, effectively brainstorm with my team members, and communicate ideas better. I like its UI because it's easy to navigate, making it simple for anyone to start using without a lot of time and effort. The ability to share in real time helps as well. When I'm in a meeting, I can quickly take notes without juggling between tools and immediately share them as soon as the meeting ends. The initial setup was smooth and didn't take long.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's a bit slow and laggy, especially when I zoom in or out a lot and the board is heavy. Better performance optimization on the backend and an option to load the board in sections would save time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to take notes in meetings, brainstorm effectively, and communicate ideas. It saves time, makes communication clearer, and reduces confusion.

Easy Real-Time Collaboration, But Can Be Slow and Pricey

  • April 13, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to use and how it lets teams work together in real time. The templates are helpful, and it connects well with tools like Google Workspace and Slack. It makes it simple to create diagrams, plan ideas, and stay organized
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can feel a bit slow, especially with large diagrams. It can also take some time to learn all the features at first. The pricing can be a bit high for smaller teams or individual users
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me organize my ideas and create clear diagrams for my work. Instead of keeping everything in my head or in messy notes, I can map things out visually. This helps me think more clearly, stay organized, and get my work done faster

Beautiful, Robust Flowcharts—But Alignment and Table Tools Need Work

  • April 03, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to create aesthetically pleasing flowcharts. Variety of shapes available. Can align shapes to one another and the grid so that it looks uniform. Having the option to see the grid as different-sized paged depending on selection and the grid automatically expanding to accommodate new pages is also very useful. I also like being able to export shapes and flowcharts with a transparent background. It can handle very complicated flowcharts and several shapes/heavy content being on a page without slowing down. I haven't needed to use the support/onboarding features or AI features. I am not sure it's worth the price as the reason I use it the most is just to create aesthetically pleasing flowcharts and I am sure there is other software out there that's cheaper and can do that as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to constantly align shapes to make them uniform. It is also very difficult to get the full suite of features when making tables like in Microsoft Word. For instance, you typically press tab to add another row but this is not how it works in Lucid Chart. The 'notes' shapes also have text that is too faraway from the frame of the shape. When attempting to readjust to make it more compact, this just distorts the shape.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work in education and am making flow charts for students to understand how to solve problem questions and understand basic concepts in law. Making flowcharts that are appealing and easy to follow has helped students immensely with their understanding of topics.
