Great On-the-Go Sharing and Powerful Options, but the UI Takes Time to Master

    Reviewed on Jul 01, 2026

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can access it and share it on the go with other team members. The UI takes time to get used to however, the amount of symbols and options available are better than Visio.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI takes time to get used to and can be hard to move around especially with different shapes

Able to collaborate with team members and able to see changes in realtime as needed

Lucid AI Delivers Intuitive, Breakthrough Team Alignment

    Reviewed on Jul 01, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid AI is one of the best features in the whole suite. I was genuinely impressed by how intuitive it felt to use. It gave our team a clear way forward on something we’d been stuck on for weeks. The tools for team alignment were fantastic, and it was easy to create breakout groups so we could tackle more complex problems.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a learning curve and the vast amount of options and tools feels overwhelming the first few times that you use the Suite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been using Lucidchart to make managing complex customer issues easier for everyone on the team. They now know exactly what they can handle on their own and what they need to escalate to management.

AI-Generated Diagrams That Keep Teams Aligned

    Reviewed on Jun 29, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Lucid is reminiscent of legacy visual media editors, but the interfaces are much more user-friendly. I also like that the AI can build an initial diagram from a meeting summary, and give us a place to begin reviewing or documenting that is further down the road in that process than we otherwise would. Using the AI-generated diagram, I was able to bring up the new visual to the team in the same meeting as the initial discussion, whereas that would likely have happened a week later, or via email, after we processed the meeting notes.
What do you dislike about the product?
My charts are usually black and white and not aesthetically pleasing for the sake of time. I would like automated visual suggestions that include color themes, edits for styling or visual clarity, and/or decorative templates that would fit the content. Maybe a user action triggers sticky notes suggesting whatever changes the system finds?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With multiple perspectives on my team, Lucid helps us visualize tedious manual processes and encourages members to analyze from their own experience. It keeps teams aligned and minimizes clarification emails. The AI generated diagrams let me share a visual in the same meeting, instead of a week later.

Intuitive UI, Helpful Forums, and Auto-Generate That Speeds Up Flowcharts

    Reviewed on Jun 29, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I'll say the UI is very straight forward and easy to understand how to use it even without a tutorial. I haven't use any of the AI/Intelligence but the auto generative box for certain flow processes makes the flow chart making processes much faster. I've also look up for support on functions or tool that I am unsure about, and those forums were very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like the spacing was a bit off and the person I sent share the flow chart with said they ran into similar issues. I don't know if that is an UI issues or something else.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps simplify complicated processes while inviting collaborators on processes verifications. Visualizations etc

Lucidchart & Lucidspark: Seamless Brainstorming and Instant Diagramming

    Reviewed on Jun 29, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Lucidchart and Lucidspark work together. It’s made our brainstorming sessions so much smoother because I can turn messy sticky notes into structured flowcharts instantly, which saves me hours of tedious work every week. The interface is really intuitive, and having so many templates ready to go means I can build professional diagrams without starting from scratch."
What do you dislike about the product?
at times, the learning curve for new team members can be a bit steep due to the sheer number of features available in the suite. I’ve also noticed that the platform can occasionally feel a bit heavy and slow to load when working on extremely large or complex boards with many collaborators.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to struggle with fragmented communication and disorganized brainstorming, which made it difficult to turn ideas into actual plans. Since using Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite, we’ve unified our ideation and documentation processes. Now, we can quickly map out complex workflows and system architectures in a single space, which has reduced our project planning time by about 20% and helped our distributed team stay aligned

Quick, User-Friendly Org Charting with a Great Free Tier and Fair Pricing

    Reviewed on Jun 29, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I can get to do basic org charts pretty quickly. As the lead of my organization, I often brainstorm org structure to address issues and future concerns. It is mostly user friendly, but there are some things that are not intuitive. With complex org structures, I have to get creative with how I represent the idea on the page. I would like to see it be easier to integrate with a MS product. I only export to PDF now. The free version is great. Pricing is appropriate. AI is not that helpful yet.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there's lag when dragging and dropping boxes, but I'm not sure if that is Lucid or if that's my local machine. The old visio was really great before they started trying too hard and got expensive. I then moved to Powerpoint for org charts, but lucid was better. Perhaps more org chart specific options. Lucid is great for flow charts, but lacking for org charts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Brainstorming my org chart needs. quickly and easily get ideas down on paper. needed to get ideas in front of staff to get their buy in. lucid allowed me to do that over and over again over the course of a week as more ideas began to surface. probably saved weeks not having to go back and forth while waiting for the staff to wrap their heads around the potential concepts. There wasn't a need for onboarding for the staff. there could have been better support which AI tried to fill, but I was able to get the staff through the quick adoption of the product.

AI-Powered Diagrams, charts and Mindmaps with Effortless Collaboration with team

    Reviewed on Jun 29, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to create visual charts such as AWS architecture diagrams, server configurations, and cloud infrastructure placements, which helps me explain things to new people easily. The diagrams, icons, and shapes are very useful for producing highly accurate charts. Its strongest use case is collaboration: multiple people can work on the same chart, and I can share diagrams both inside and outside my organization.

What I like most are the AI, the templates, and the clean, understandable UI/UX. The AI accepts a prompt, interprets it, and produces a chart that is about 90% accurate. The templates provide ready-to-start charts that save time. The interface is intuitive — everything is visible up front and formatting options sit at the top, so you rarely need extra clicks to add detail.

I integrated it with Slack, so sharing and collaboration happen directly within Slack. Initial setup was quick; it took hardly a minute to get started. Overall, everything works well and I couldn't find any significant issues. Performance is excellent: it runs in the browser and I haven't encountered bugs or problems. Pricing is minimal, and my ROI has been 100%.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only problem I face when creating charts is the zoom control: I have to use the sidebar and bottom bar to move the canvas, which feels awkward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid to create visual diagrams like AWS architecture and other cloud-infrastructure layouts, which makes it much easier to explain things to new people. I can share charts both inside and outside my organization, and multiple people can collaborate on the same diagram at once. The AI features, ready-made templates, and clean UI consistently save me time.

    User-Friendly Diagramming with Great Templates

What do you like best about the product?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite for swim lanes, whiteboarding, requirement diagrams, and collaboration. It helps me communicate more clearly with business stakeholders and also invite them to participate. I like the templates for different functionalities and the easy UI. When documenting business processes, it helps with documenting as well as calling out inefficient processes and identifying gaps. We switched from Visio because Lucid is more user friendly. The initial setup was super easy. I also use it with Confluence.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how the AI draws. The color scheme is horrendous. The AI palette is wrong, it should follow the user's palette but it doesn't right now. For example, all my diagrams use a blue palette, and when I asked the AI to draw, it used purple, green, and a whole lot of colors, which made me abandon the diagram and do it manually. I think the AI should ask if it should follow the user's document color scheme or change it, and then do accordingly based on the user's answer. Other than the color palette issue, it's good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me communicate more clearly with business stakeholders and invite them to participate. When documenting business processes, it helps me document workflows, call out inefficient processes, and identify gaps.
