Intuitive and powerful tool for visual collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how intuitive the interface is and how quickly new users can get up to speed. The wide range of templates and diagramming options makes it easy to brainstorm, plan projects, or communicate complex ideas. Real-time collaboration is seamless and allows distributed teams to stay aligned without confusion.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Lucid is highly capable, large or complex diagrams can occasionally lag, especially when collaborating with many users at once. The pricing model can also feel a bit restrictive for smaller teams who want access to advanced features. Integrations are strong overall, but a few could be smoother to set up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid helps my team take complex ideas and turn them into clear, visual workflows that everyone can understand quickly. It reduces miscommunication during projects, makes remote collaboration more efficient, and ensures that stakeholders have a single source of truth. By using Lucid, we’ve cut down meeting times and improved project alignment across departments.
Highly collaborative and provides so many helpful templates
What do you like best about the product?
The best aspect of Lucid is the ease at which our teams can collaborate. The platform allows users to collaborate in real-time without lagging, causing the app to crash or overriding each other. It also makes it easier to talk through issues we are trying to resolve and break things down in visual parts so even if you don't have a background in that department/field, you can still understand and contribute to the resolution. This has been especially useful in creating workflows that involve multiple departments. Each department is the SME in their realm, but it has been helpful to visualize how their work affects other teams and how their work progresses through other team's workflows. This has help streamline and create new solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Something I dislike about Lucid is that it can be difficult for some to use right away because there are so many uses and features. If someone started with a blank chart and wasn't as tech saavy, I could see it being extremely difficult to create what they needed. With that said, I think the key is to start with a template in the beginning to learn about the many ways you can use Lucid Chart and learn about many of the features. Starting with templates made it so much easier for me to understand how to use the app and has continually helped me learn about new (to me) features that I can apply in future charts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest thing it is helping with right now is workflow mapping to help our various teams to understand how each team is supporting the project, understand what each team does, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Efficient Diagramming with Intuitive Smart Layout
What do you like best about the product?
I love how straightforward it is to set up Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite, even if you're switching from another tool like Miro or using it for the first time. I find its built-in features make diagramming much quicker and more efficient than simpler tools. The smart layout feature, which organizes and spaces elements out, is incredibly helpful and something I haven't experienced in other platforms. This feature alone makes Lucid stand out to me and is a significant reason why I'd choose it over competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the AI generation tool could be more accurate, as it's currently good but not perfect. This would really enhance the tool's utility for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find the product makes diagramming easier and more efficient with built-in features, saving time compared to simpler tools.

Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite Review - An Easy to Use and Powerful Software
What do you like best about the product?
I love how intuitive and easy to use the software is. The drag-and-drop interface just makes sense, and I can start creating professional-looking diagrams and flowcharts without a steep learning curve. It's awesome for quickly visualizing complex ideas or processes, whether I'm working alone or with a team. The barrier to entry to use the service is little to non-existent.
What do you dislike about the product?
My main frustration is with the performance on larger, more complex diagrams. When I'm working on a really big board with a lot of shapes and text, the software can get a bit sluggish. It's not a deal-breaker, but it can interrupt the flow of a meeting, which is annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid helps my team and I get on the same page quickly, which cuts down on endless meetings and too many follow-up emails. We can see a complex process laid out visually and immediately spot bottlenecks or areas that don't make sense. It's a lifesaver for our brainstorming sessions, as it helps us organize and build on each other's ideas in real-time, even when we're working remotely.
Easy to use, but some minor changes
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy using the flowchart, because I think it is a really easy way to layout a work flow for different procedures. I've primarily used this feature as a decision tree for work instructions, but I've found it very easy to use and export from Lucid into both google and microsoft word. The brainstorming templates are also really nice, because I can use these for bigger projects to jot some ideas down without forgetting.
What do you dislike about the product?
At least for me, there are a lot of features that I do not necessarily need. I also think it would be nice if Lucid could be a bit more compatible with google, exporting things as google docs, drawings, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides a really easy way to map things out, without worrying about formatting as much as I would in other platforms on Microsoft as google. This saves me a lot of time to worry about the things that actually matter.

Shared Brainstorming with Lucid
What do you like best about the product?
I like how intuitive and flexible Lucid is, it makes it easy to capture ideas quickly, organise them visually, and collaborate in real time. The shared workspace with sticky notes, tables, and diagrams keeps everyone engaged and aligned, which is a big upside compared to traditional tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Lucid can feel a bit cluttered when many people are collaborating at once, and it can take time to organise complex diagrams. Also, certain advanced features aren’t always intuitive for new users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid solves the challenge of collaborative idea generation and visual organisation by allowing teams to brainstorm, map, and structure concepts in real time. This benefits me by keeping discussions focused, making ideas easy to track, and ensuring everyone stays aligned during projects.
