Effortless Design and Collaborative Power
What do you like best about the product?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite mostly for designing software systems and architecture, and it helps me collaborate and share my ideas effectively. I really like the design and simplicity of the user interface; it makes the software extremely easy to use without needing prior training. The free features make the whole suite usable, as I'm not forced to buy the premium for usability but rather for extra helpful features. The core being free allows people to test it as well. Containers in Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite nicely automatically adjust, helping me organize different components in different boxes. The flowchart arrows adjust themselves perfectly, creating a tidy feeling, and creating these schemas doesn't take long. The initial setup was super easy, with no complaints.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the container feature is buggy and moving them around causes the directional arrows between containers or elements to disappear.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me organize by automatically adjusting containers and flowchart arrows, creating a tidy design quickly.
Easy-to-Follow Templates and a Promising AI-Powered Platform
What do you like best about the product?
The templetes were not overwhelming. There was a good amount of template, but it was easy to follow step by step. Lucid made it easy to see how to set something up, and how to create on their platform. Not to mention their integration of AI that I think could benefit people down the road with the continued use and development of AI
What do you dislike about the product?
I think in the free software the limited number of shapes you could use. I think its great they have a free option, but I think limiting the number of shapes is limiting. However having shapes and colors that are paid, but not limiting the shape count would be cool in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It resolved my schoolwork template. I used Lucid to create a working process for educational approaches. I think that it made the process from start to finish rather easy to see.
Why Lucid is a welcomed change.
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that our free plan allowed us to experiment with a lot of the features, allowing my team and coworkers to make sure this is the right decision.
Also, it is worth pointing out that the customization of the whiteboard is a useful feature since it allows us to change the background color and grid options, which I haven't seen with other whiteboards.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only real issue I have with it is the navigation due to me moving over from Figma. I am so used to using the middle button to navigate, which in Lucid is a free camera mode, and instead I need to use the right click button.
I wish there was a way to change to this. As a freelancer, I swap a lot between Lucid and Figma, and it's been a few minutes of, 'Why does Lucid feel weird to use? Oh yeah. Wrong button."

We're a remote team with pretty diverse duties for all of us; we prefer using Lucid as a tool to plan content, make lighting plans for our productions, track related files, and have an open canvas, allowing us to see everything from a top-down perspective.
