Lucid for DevOps
What do you like best about the product?
A single feature is difficult. For me I I love the living, calaborative document that helps evolve an idea in a language that all stakeholders can read. Lucid's ability to handle copy and paste is amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is difficult to create a one time meeting where all folks (even those without a license) can come together to collaborate. Ideally we can give temporary, one time access and have a streamlined flow to do it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My teams are focused on technical challenges. We use lucid to illustrate and zoom in on very specific functions and flows. I've used it to also illustrate process, giving everyone a good organizational understanding.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Learn to import your own shapes. Ask for feedback from your team

What do you like best about the product?
I like how responsive the web application is. It feels very snappy and fun to use as if it's a desktop application.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far! The software is so easy to use and has a bunch of templates that make it really easy to get started!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using it mainly for diagraming complex systems and brainstorming. It's just really easy to make changes with multiple people concurrently.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
They have a free tier so jump right in and play around with the diagraming. The app is very intuitive for this!
Easy to use and the templates make it even easier
What do you like best about the product?
I love the templates that they have created and make available. This is usually my starting point, I search for a template that closely fits what I am looking to do and use that as my jumping-off point. I have Visio as part of my Office365 package, but I find Lucid so much easier to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
A bit nitpicky, but it would be great if there was a Save As option when you are working in a chart. If I'm working on a chart and think that it could be relevant, with changes, to another project I'm working on I would like to just click Save As and save it to another project folder. As of now I only see a Save option when working with charts. Once saved I can go back to the home page/dashboard and move the chart to the folder I want to save it to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to quickly diagram out business processes and workflows gives a visual representation that everyone involved in the project can quickly see and understand.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are frustrated with Visio, you need to give Lucidchart a try.

I really like the ability to collaborate on diagrams. General UI experience is good in that it is quite intuitive!

No complaints, I like Lucidchart and does what I need it to do!

Diagraming complex infrastructures for clients. Speeds up collaboration between teams.

I have been creating process diagrams for a model. It makes visualization very easy
Practical, easy to use and convenient collaboration work tool
What do you like best about the product?
The most beneficial aspect of this tool is that it is easy to share projects and collaborate with peers. It also has a vast library to customize and complete your projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free version is limited to the number of blocks one can use on a single drawing or design. The full version is, in my opinion, somewhat expensive for a 1yr.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped convey the layout of equipment for multiple scenarios of the manufacturing industry to our clients and in documenting details of equipment location.
Great Tool for Diagraming Process Flows
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy and intuitive. There's little to no learning curve required. I also love how easy it is to collaborate with the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be confusing exactly how to edit and change cetain shapes and arrows if you want to make revisions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to very quickly get confusing processes on paper, so our team can see the breakdowns and make improvements.

It's worth trying.
Good chart tools
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to learn and using, You can place the flowchart units wherever you like
What do you dislike about the product?
If I missed a chart unit, we need an easy way to insert a new one.

Working so fast than using the other way to make the new flow chart

Lucid Chart First Impressions for Block Diagramming
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart is best at being able to create block diagrams quickly and accurately. Its sidebar allows quick selection of the correct shape and formatting to enhance the readability and structure of the overall diagram.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of right now, the only dislike I have with Lucidchart is its lack of mathematical support. Having the ability to insert equations and other numerical features would be great. My workaround has been sufficient. I have just been screenshotting and inserting images of the equations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I haven't had any problems with Lucidchart so far. I am using it to demonstrate to other people the flow of my programming logic for a rocket's flight computer. Without Lucidchart, it would be almost impossible to clearly show the structure of the code and the logic behind it.
