Visual collaboration has improved remote workflows and supports faster shared decisions
What is our primary use case?
My main use case for Lucidchart is that it helps create sequences, sequence diagrams, component diagrams, workflows, and many more for our product and software services. This helps us collaborate better as a remote team to brainstorm and express our design and thought process, identify issues early on, get sign-off from stakeholders, and get feedback from subject matter experts while identifying corner cases or use cases missed.
A specific example of how I use Lucidchart for one of my projects is that we primarily use it as a process visualization tool. We use it to document workflows, department standard operating procedures, and handoffs so that we have something we can give people rather than just verbal training or a text document. It provides a visual reference they can review.
Additionally, Lucidchart helps with diagramming and project management. It works well when you need to collaborate between different departments that share similar goals or when helping to collaborate with clients effectively.
What is most valuable?
The best features Lucidchart offers are that it diagrams processes very well. It allows for project management to help with client timelines. It is also easy to use and create diagrams, especially mermaid diagrams. Collaborating is easy.
Out of all those features, collaboration stands out to me the most because it is easy to share with team members to do joint design work.
Lucidchart has positively impacted my organization by improving productivity and collaboration.
In terms of specifics, collaboration helps us come to conclusions. I notice better throughput as it is easy to use. Improved productivity allows us to express ourselves more quickly.
What needs improvement?
One way Lucidchart can be improved is that finding a document that has been shared with me without having the link is tricky, or the amount of diagrams can become overwhelming and bury the document I actually need.
I also think the tutorials could always be improved for better online documentation.
Another improvement could be that the user interface can be a bit cleaner.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using Lucidchart for five years.
What other advice do I have?
My advice to others looking into using Lucidchart is that if you are looking for a lightweight project mapping and collaboration tool within teams and across teams to get on the same page when it comes to a project plan for the future, Lucidchart is the best solution for that.
I have observed several advantages overall while using Lucidchart. It has improved time to decision by at least fifteen percent. It has created more visibility over the process and decision-making across our business. It enables collaboration across the team to improve by at least thirteen percent. I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.

the available template library has a ton of options to begin with for creative flows. and also the AI feature is a helpful tool in terms of creating visual flow from text prompts.
What do you dislike about the product?
there aren't any such features which i dislike now, i believe this is a concise tool and all the necessary features are available here.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
the main pain point it solves is able to make the plans, charts and flow visualize for better elaborative approach
Game-Changing AWS Diagram Automation That’s Truly User-Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to automatically generate AWS diagrams is a game-changer. It reduces mapping time and helps ensure technical accuracy by avoiding the manual errors that can creep in. On top of that, it’s genuinely user-friendly in a way I haven’t found in other visual design tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, when the board gets massive and accumulates too many elements, the experience becomes somewhat frustrating—at least in that moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to quickly structure complex ideas is incredible. Because everything is visualized in clear diagrams, misunderstandings in meetings have basically disappeared. It feels like the ultimate tool for keeping the whole team aligned and coordinated in real time.
Great for Flowcharts and Architecture Diagrams That Clarify Current and Future State.
What do you like best about the product?
We use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite mainly to create process flow and/or architecture pictures. It's a great tool for any business to use from simple organizational chart to the most complex charts and processes to help the business move forward. To create a flowchart is very good and we are able to visualize the current and future state.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was a bit harder to add more shapes as the free version had limits on how many shapes I can use.

Another advantage is how it allows us to communicate more effectively with external partners by sharing our resources and diagrams.

Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is super awesome for collaboratively developing diagrams. I love how it helps to visualize what is being discussed and helps significantly to increase transparency across all stakeholders. Also, the feedback we are getting from our customers is definitely positive and for me, it's a great addition to my toolset.

I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite on a daily basis and it does a great job. I have used it to understand the workflow of complex code. Ease of feature usability is it's biggest asset, and I like how it makes my job of understanding the code really easy. I like its good export functionality and sharing options with other team members or stakeholders.

I can't remember anything that didn't work well. Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is complete and it makes my work easier.

Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite helps us to describe processes, architecture decisions and strategical planning. It has a very good and nice UI and intuitive tools. We also use it to develop, design and produce flowcharts, graphs, tables and other visual data presentations that allow for clear and coherent data modeling strategies. There would be better exporting capabilities and integration.

I love Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite because it allows me to play with ideas that I can ultimately present to an architect so that we have a starting point for a long-term solution. It is super easy to use, incredibly well designed, making it very easy to navigate. Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is also great for creating workflow diagrams. It gets the job well done.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite primarily for process flows, process maps, and requirement discussions. I like that the interface is very simple and intuitive, which makes it easy for my business stakeholders to collaborate and contribute. The real-time editing feature is great because it allows diagrams to be updated during discussions, so I don't have to wait for the meeting to end before making updates. It's a nice collaboration tool that has made my workshops more efficient. The setup was pretty easy, which was also a plus.

Sometimes for heavier diagrams like architecture discussions, formatting does not remain consistent. Even selection of part of diagram to copy to another page is a bit tricky. But it’s primarily for heavy diagrams.

Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite simplifies stakeholder collaboration with its intuitive interface and real-time editing. I can update diagrams during discussions, eliminating the need to wait until after meetings.

Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is great for complex flowcharts or when you don't know exact flow yet and need to think it out as you are creating it. It is a great way to get ideas down either in real-time or at the convenience of each user. Lucid has a simple and user-friendly interface making it super easy to learn and understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
The scrolling function is not responsive at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is much more user-friendly and easier to use. With it, I can easily build a chart, and I like how it shows the process in details from the beginning to end.
