Lucidchart is a vital tool in my product manager toolkit
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to design wireframes, design user flows, map out journeys and user personas, and share with my colleagues for collaboration
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I feel like the best features of lucidchart are hidden and you have to go digging to find them. It would be helpful for templates, different components, etc. were highlighted
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving various problems with lucidchart but I benefit from a product suite that is both a flowchart application and a collaborative application with my team
Lucid Chart has been an amazing resource for my team.
What do you like best about the product?
It's a live document, so multiple departments can collaborate on building our Org charts for the new year.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found a good way to merge two existing charts. Copy paste puts them on different layers and I cannot click and drag between them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Year end turn re-organization of our global sales teams.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Merge two existing org charts in lucid chart so that the two layers can interact with eachother.
Powerful Tool for Communicating Concepts
What do you like best about the product?
I use LucidChart to diagram AWS architecture, flow diagrams, and other structural diagrams. I like LucidChart's vast collection of shapes and icons included by default and the ability to import more icons easily. LucidChart also makes it easy to make clean and easy-to-understand diagrams via features like hotspots, links, and notes.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be difficult to follow lines in more complex diagrams. Snapping lines also works pretty well for normal shapes, but not so well for images, including AWS icons.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LucidChart makes it easy and quick to share ideas that would otherwise be difficult to communicate. I use LucidChart both for personal and professional projects to keep my ideas straight and my team aligned.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hotspots, links, comments, and notes are all powerful tools that should not be ignored.
LucidChart is a game changer!
What do you like best about the product?
LucidChart is incredibly easy to use, produces professional results, helps teams gain clarity, and makes everyone look like a business process rock star! I convinced my company to purchase it, and get a lot of satisfaction when I see how widely and how well it is being used to help teams gain clarity.
What do you dislike about the product?
LucidChart makes a lot of regular updates. Once in a while, the frequent updates can surprise me. BUT - it's usually a pleasant surprise that I am able to absorb quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use LucidChart for a variety of use cases, to include:
- High-level process diagrams for executive understanding and alignment
- Detailed business process diagrams to ensure the proper design has been achieved before building out a technical solution
- "white boarding" on the fly to help facilitate a remote meeting

The ease of which we can use the program. It very user friendly.

Nothing...it's been such a great piece of software to use

The ability to use Lucid Charts for brainstorming and moving ideas around with ease. There are so many templates to choose from as well...that helps!

Easy way to communicate ideas and even document complex systems
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to draw different diagrams ranging from conceptual ones regarding a greenfield project to documenting existing cloud-native systems for micro-services.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when having a lot of documentation, regarding what to search for can become a bit of a hassle unless you know what you are looking for, but that can be worked around by talking to colleagues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Documenting existing complex micro-service systems in terms of data flows, and infrastructure. Additionally, to explain a new concept to the team in terms of architecture paterns.

Be sure to organize different charts properly using folders.

What do you like best about the product?
This tool allows us to build an easy way to visualize the process and steps needed to implement it. Highly recommend it to anyone working with project management.

Wish there were more data/database-related templates. Building one from scratch can be a hassle.

Easy to build visualizations that anyone can understand and apply to project structures, steps, processes, and different stakeholders.
Superb tool to manage different business needs
What do you like best about the product?
i am the first time user of lucidchart and I liked the simplicity of the tool , user can easily understand their feature and easy to use. for different requirrements all different features are provided.
What do you dislike about the product?
as a first time usser i am not seeing any downside in this product. but sometimes loading is taking longer and if multiple users are using at the same time, it's not responding.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we are building a product related to health care. and e are trying to provide alternate solutions of typical healthcare to make it all digital. instead of going to the doctors office you can connect with your doctors from your computer or mobile.

If you need to plan and organize your product idea, this is the best tool for you!
Very useful charting tool
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the variety of icons as it relates to cloud computing systems diagrams. There are enough icons to be very complete at both low and high level of the technical depth.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the cost. There are many features that are very neat such as the AWS integration, but the license per user per month is honestly pretty steep for a startup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building organization diagrams and systems design diagrams are the main components of functionality used. For these purposes it is by far the best tool I have used.
Lucid, the new way to collaborate
What do you like best about the product?
I think the best thing about Lucid is its flexibility there truly is something for everyone. Not to mention all of the integrations that seem to work flawlessly to help bring, not just teams together but teams that cross a grip of different business and tech functions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I think should and could be improved is the ability to go back and forth from Chart to Sprak a bit easier or mor unform anyway rather than doing in import it would be great to switch with a click in both directions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Lucidchart I can better relay information visually to business and really include stakeholders in a more collaborative way where they can understand pain points that cause dev to take a bit longer than anticipated and also allows us to understand business pain points from the dev perspective.
