Good to use
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Lucidchart will expand more space if you run out of room. It helps when the diagram or chart I am creating is larger than I expected. When it automatically extends more workspace, I do not need to reorganize or resize my whole chart.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it is challenging to find the shapes I need. The basic shapes also have rounded corners which could affect the presentation, if sharp corners are needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart helps create a space to create diagrams. Trying to create charts on Word or PowerPoint is difficult, so Lucidchart makes it easier to create charts and ensure they look nice.
Tons of capability and easy to learn
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using it for about three weeks and have created three fairly detailed diagrams. I have found it easy to learn and have gained some efficiencies in my work by using some of the Diagramming Foundations online training from Lucid's Learning Campus. For me, what makes Lucidchart stand out from other diagraming tools I've used is the Layers feature. I use Layers to toggle some details that make complex diagrams easier to digest for some viewers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool is heavily biased towards easily drawing connecting lines from just about any shape/object, to its own detriment, in my opinion. Details: when I click on a shape/object, the bounds of the shape/object and "handles" to resize the object appear. It's incredibly difficult to select a handle on the side of a shape/object to resize it in one vector only; instead, it always wants to draw a connector from the shape/object. I find myself repeatedly undoing the creation of connectors. It's vexing at times!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Layers festure allows me to manage detail on my diagrams.
Consistently easy to use - Sharing features could do with improvement
What do you like best about the product?
The multitude of iconography available makes it easy to build relevant diragrams without scouring the internet for images.
The flexibility of the controls and speed at which you can draw and rearrange items is superb.

What do you dislike about the product?
A lack of pen suport and free flow drawing means it can't be used as a whiteboarding tool.
Sequence diagrams can be modelled with PlantUml syntax, but it is severely limited with only the minimal features added.

Communication and collaboration is key for a team to function. Lucidcharts allows the team to use one tool for collaboaration, ideation, and modelling or architecture and solutions. This improves discussion and understanding greatly for a remote based workforce.
Simple, comprehensive diagraming and flow build tool
What do you like best about the product?
It has comprehensive flow options and is easy to utilise and collaborate with colleagues.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little clunky sometimes, unable to move as freely as some other tools. Although such tools are not as comprehensive, the trade is suitable.

Use LucidSpark as a web-based collaboration tool
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how easy to use and powerful LucidSpark is. It's a great tool for brainstorming, analysing business processes, developing user flow diagrams and creating visually appealing wireframes. The fact that my client chose to purchase licences for the entire staff speaks volumes about how useful it can be in an online environment - even when we're all spread out! Having access to these virtual office tools also makes conferencing easier, as everyone on the call or meeting can understand each other without having to spend too much time double-checking points of discussion.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything to dislike about using LucidSpark. It was very easy to use and worked well for our remote team's collaboration goal of having a virtual whiteboard. As far as ease of use and features are concerned, Microsoft Whiteboard pales in comparison, making it the obvious choice for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I'm not able to meet in person with my team, LucidSpark allows me to work effectively together.
Easy chart and diagram creation
What do you like best about the product?
Begin exploring Lucidcharts recently. Have a lot of options to create diagrams and flows representing the functionalities/flows in the application. Built in options to create quick and professional charts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Searching for including different image options as vector images /icons representing the process or functions to create a pictorial flowchart in more attractive and professional way. Not sure if there are already available and yet to explore on those areas
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating quick charts with lot of interconnected flows in applications feature and updating them frequently due to the regular enhancements and changes are much easier now
The ultimate solution for visual collaboration and brainstorming
What do you like best about the product?
One of Lucidspark's standout features is its convenient interface, which makes it straightforward to explore and use. It is ideal for tiny businesses because of its extensive collaboration tools and project-specific designs. Additionally, I can create unique graphics that stand out from the competition thanks to Lucidspark's wide range of design modification options.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although it is a useful instrument, it can occasionally be slow, which makes it challenging to use. Furthermore, there have been occasions when the software has stopped or collapsed, erasing work. Last but not least, the absence of customization choices can be problematic because I am unable to modify the software to meet my particular requirements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability for my team and I to work in real-time on mind maps, flowcharts, and schematics is one of the main advantages of using Lucidspark. Additionally, it provides a number of themes that make it simple to construct diagrams with a pleasing aesthetic. We can quickly communicate our work with one another thanks to the seamless integration with Google Drive, Slack, and Trello. The program is also practical, and we have seen a significant improvement in our efficiency and communication.
