What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has become my go-to product for collaboration & diagramming. As a software developer, we need to make multiple sequential, class diagrams. Many-a-times we need to mind-map the HLD and LLD for systems and it becomes the perfect tool to ideate & implement ideas.

A great tool for UML , Sequence & ER diagrams
What do you like best about the product?
UML and Sequence diagrams are simple and easy to create using the built-in template. The interface is intuitive and adding and removing/re-arranging icons is simple and easy. I have used other tools like to create sequence diagrams and they are painful to make modifications to. The loop condition part of a sequence diagram requires a lot of manual tweaking on other more basic graphing tools. You can even import existing work from those tools/formats into Lucidchart and continue working on them.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ER diagram creator is not as powerful and capable as required and needs further enhancement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simplifying UML & Sequence Diagram generation using excellent tooling , it has saved immensely on the time spent in creating such diagrams.
Other manual tools require you to handle the position of each element and even the flow connectors , re-arranging elements can result in jumbled and incorrect representations.
This is not a problem with Lucidchart and it works very intuitively.

What do you dislike about the product?
We weren't a fan of the price increase due to the "Inclusion" of lucid spark. Our company had no real interest in utilizing this product.

Google workspace does not have a built in org chart... Lucid helped us solve for that
Navigating Architecture Diagrams with Lucid: A Mostly Smooth Journey
What do you like best about the product?
As a daily user of the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite, I find myself immersed in a platform that brings a certain clarity to my workflow, particularly when it comes to drawing architecture diagrams. The intuitiveness of the interface paired with the versatility of the tools at hand allows me to seamlessly translate my conceptual frameworks into visual representations that are both coherent and appealing.
One of the strengths of Lucid lies in its streamlined design; it is crafted to facilitate smooth navigation and manipulation of elements within the workspace. The ability to collaborate in real-time adds a layer of dynamism to the process, enabling me to work alongside team members to refine and iterate on designs as they evolve.
The array of templates and shapes available within Lucid is commendable—a testament to its commitment to serving a wide range of diagramming needs. This plethora of options ensures that I can jumpstart my projects without the inertia that comes from having to create everything from scratch.

What do you dislike about the product?
As someone deeply engaged in creating diagrams that adhere to specific notations, I've encountered a snag in the form of incomplete element lists for certain notations. For instance, the Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP) notation does not have a complete list of elements available in Lucid. This can be a source of frustration as it interrupts the workflow and necessitates either a workaround or the creation of custom elements to fill in the gaps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite stands as a fundamental tool in my everyday work, providing a solid foundation for diagramming and visual collaboration. While it would benefit from expanding its library to cover more specialized notations, its core functionality remains strong and dependable. With a few enhancements, Lucid could very well become the go-to solution for all diagramming needs across various industries.
Great tools to visualise and collaborate
What do you like best about the product?
Things I like the most about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite are easy sharing option to collaborate with teammates and seamless integration with google entities such as sheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot dislike the part that is still in progress! The AI component should be enhanced so that a requirement in text can be translated into charts more effectively.

Being a consultant, we have a business need of capturing client business workflows. This involves making sure the assumptions about data flow and rules applied are acknowledged by the client to be correct. We used google sheets and docs for capturing the requirements. However, workflows are difficult to capture in words. Lucid suite helps resolved this issue by demonstrating the captured requirements to client and also getting them corrected by collaborating.
The pros and cons of using Lucid's suite
What do you like best about the product?
I heavily use lucidcharts within my organization for architecture and documentation purposes. We use Lucidcharts in particular because the collaboration aspect is seamless. There is little to no learning curve to use this software, so new team members instantly feel comfortable to contribute to our existing diagrams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creating connections between items can be a bit annoying when the edge doesn't snap in place to the item I am trying to connect to. Additionally, a variety of icon sets would be great. We use alot of cloud icons (AWS, GCP, Azure), and having a variety of each resource would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Every team member can have access to view and edit our collection of diagrams. Everything lives in one place, and it is super easy to ramp up new team members to let them join in the knowledge share.
Keep it real, Lucidchart!

What do you dislike about the product?
Lucidchart is rad, but there's a little learning curve for the fancy features. It'd be killer to have some extra guidance for those who want to level up. Also, the pricing – it's fair, but for the budget-conscious crews, it might be a pinch.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart is straight-up solving my visual chaos problem. As a 27-year-old Marketing Manager, my work life is all about juggling ideas, projects, and collaborations. Lucidchart stepped in like the superhero of organization, helping me turn my brainstorming chaos into a visual masterpiece.
You know how it is when you're trying to explain a concept or map out a project? Words just don't cut it. Lucidchart flips the script by letting me throw together diagrams and flowcharts that scream, "Here's the game plan, people!"
Collaboration? It's a whole new level. Real-time edits mean my team and I can vibe together on the same diagram, no matter where we are. Comments and mentions keep the convo flowing smoothly, like a virtual brainstorming session without the headache.
The versatility is a game-changer too. Whether I'm sketching out marketing strategies, wireframes for a new app, or just laying down some creative process flow, Lucidchart's got templates and shapes for days. It's like my personal toolkit for turning ideas into visual magic.
