Powerful coordination and collaberation tool
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to request updates etc direct to an email from Smartsheet. Reminders via email. Ease of creating visual workflows using indents and predecessors. Very easy to add a new contact and edit existing ones. Icons also provide a great visual aid.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes formatting is annoying. I use colours, font size etc to differentiate titles and sections, sometimes the formatting is carried over to other rows when i do not want them to be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheets allows me to create not only a functioning project plan but one that provides a clear visual aid when printed out that allows my colleagues to track progress at a glance of the plan. The ease of collaboration via email also streamlines our management process by being able to request updates at the click of a button for a specific task. Automated reminders are also a much needed feature during busy periods!

What do you like best about the product?
We have been using Smartsheet for about a year now. The best feature is the flexibility / adaaptability of the tool. You can use it for so many different business scenarios. We are focussed on using it for project management but are already seeing alternative use cases across the business.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way the system uses % allocations for each resource in resource planning / project plans. This is clunky anmd when you have multiple resources assigned on a task and need a different % allocation against each it forces the project managers to have to create additional tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We moved from having lots of spreadsheets and disperate tools to having all core project artefacts on Smartsheet. This has simplified some processes, and made it possible to have real time visibility of the portfolio.

How Smartsheet streamlined my work scheduling
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how Smartsheet simplifies processes that would normally require a lot of manual effort. Its time-saving, intuitive features are simply outstanding and allow us to streamline user engagement activities like surveys and bug fixes with minimal effort. With its built-in form filling capabilities, we no longer have to manually respond to emails or search online data sources to quickly gather feedback from our audience. In addition, the debugging feature makes it easier for us to focus on issues within specific fields when troubleshooting - something that can often be tedious without the right tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how difficult it is to create a process map in Smartsheet and the lack of customization options when adding text. It would be beneficial to be able to export only the data I need rather than whole spreadsheets each time. To improve this platform, I suggest introducing templates for creating process maps that are similar to dashboard visualization tools with the addition of customizable lines or shading.

Smartsheet saves me time by providing an efficient solution for managing the finances of my company. With its intuitive interface, I can quickly set up and organize our financial records to ensure accuracy and visibility across the team.
Accurately track and manage data and projects
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet's extraordinary power lies in its ability to store, organize, and manage large numbers of sheets. Its convenience comes from its familiarity with Excel formatting, while avoiding complex calculations or other tricky rules. Smartsheet also adds Gantt charts for business planning, which can be further refined with condition styling to make data entry automatic and error-free. Last but not least, there are strong collaboration options that ensure document security when dealing with confidential materials - key to successful business tasking!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think Smartsheet has an easy way to quickly view data summaries from different columns. Compared to Excel, which can automatically generate charts and efficiently present complex data sets in a visual form, it requires more effort for users with charting skills to manually count rows and perform calculations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I rely on Smartsheet to keep track of all my departments at work. The ability to collaborate with multiple users in real time is an incredible asset - it helps me stay organized and allows for quick feedback from other team members.

What do you like best about the product?
I like everything about Smartsheet, especially that its easy-to-use interface and customizable dashboards make managing projects a breeze. I also appreciate the ability to attach files directly to a project plan, making all the information I need easily accessible in one workspace. The ability to set reminders for upcoming deadlines gives me peace of mind, knowing that nothing will be forgotten or overlooked in the activities of our cross-departmental team. Smartsheet makes project management both efficient and organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Smartsheet's lack of automatic saving very annoying. Having to manually save changes after each update is cumbersome and time-consuming, whereas browser-based applications like Google Apps do it much faster. In addition, automatic saving would make the program much more efficient for me when working with spreadsheets.

Smartsheet helps me stay on top of my projects because it improves communication and team collaboration. I can manage tasks more efficiently and set automatic reminders for upcoming deadlines.

What do you like best about the product?
I'm particularly excited about Smartsheet because its user-friendly, minimalist design makes it incredibly easy to set up our projects in a timely and efficient manner. With helpful features like the ability for users to customize their own permissions, automated report emails, and embedded content options that make cross-referencing easier than ever, we made an excellent decision to integrate Google Sheets into our system along with Trello. Gantt charts also give us more inspiration to manage each project, while keeping everyone properly informed of each milestone or update helps improve productivity all around.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact Smartsheet doesn't offer automatic saving. This requires me to constantly verify that my changes have been saved, which makes updating a sheet unproductive and time consuming compared to other browser-based applications like Google Apps that already offer this feature. Having access to an auto-save feature while using Smartsheet would greatly improve the efficiency of my workflow.

Smartsheet has made it much easier for me to manage projects and collaborate with teams. With Smartsheet, setting up new projects takes no time at all because the platform is so similar to Excel - making the transition a breeze. I find the lack of an auto-save feature in Smartsheet extremely frustrating. Without it, users must manually ensure that changes made to sheets are saved properly, a process that is both tedious and time-consuming. This limits productivity, as the convenience of autosaving via web browsers that I see in Google Apps would be greatly appreciated in Smartsheet.

The inexplicable movement of multiple rows to the page footer is also irritating, and complicated configurations may be required for those who need full editing power over a sheet.
