Highly Configurable Solution for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
I use Smartsheet for project management and it allows us to see all of our projects in a clear view and manage resources effectively. It's highly configurable for our business, which makes it perfect for our needs. The initial setup worked really well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to mention - anytime we have looked at alternatives, we find ourselves wanting to stick with Smartsheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Love Smarthsheet, but adding some creative design is needed

Using it as an online RSVP form and FEEDBACK form

Not being able to add graphic, e.g. branded design banner for an RSVP or FEEDBACK form

Powerful, Customizable Sheets—But Slow Loading and Freezes Can Frustrate
What do you like best about the product?
This one sheet can pull data from multiple sheets to populate its cells. You can customize existing sheets, and you can also create your own unique ones. Once you have this data you can analyze your performance and plan your workflow accordingly. The "help" tab is very easy to follow.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, the sheets are very slow to load, update, and save. In some cases, this has caused the system to freeze. When you need data during those moments, it can be really frustrating—especially if you have a customer waiting right next to you.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It used to be time-consuming to find the right sheets we were looking for. Now we’ve created a front dashboard with shortcuts to most of the sheets we need every day, which makes it much easier to navigate.
Seamless Zendesk and Jira Integration
What do you like best about the product?
The integration within other platfform such aas zendesk and Jira

The UI is simple. Not a bad thing, but it needs better aesthetics

We use it as a list or database of assets, and we can integrate it into our ticketing system.
Significantly Boosted Efficiency with Centralized Store Communication
What do you like best about the product?
It has increased the efficiency of the business significantly allowing us to share information with our stores in one location as well as allowing stores to fill in forms to request actions from us at support office.
What do you dislike about the product?
Updates mess with it occasionally. Table view i cannot send a single update request. i need to go back to grid view, send update request and then go back to table view if a store has entered the wrong info.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dashboard creation to cover off multiple KPI's for stores including stock management, stocktakes, special orders and stock adjustments.
It reduces emails significantly, keeps all info in one place for anyone relevant to view and there is now a history to go back to.

Effortless Project Management with Gantt Clarity
What do you like best about the product?
I like the simple Gantt chart format in Smartsheet, which helps me see the critical path and understand when specific tasks are scheduled. It's also easy to link sheets together, allowing me to put together an overview and identify when tasks are scheduled simultaneously, which helps manage high demand on teams. Setting up simple projects with a Work Breakdown Structure in Smartsheet has not been difficult either.
What do you dislike about the product?
Understanding the features of Smartsheet to make the most use out of it. I know there are many different tools within Smartsheet, but we tend to only use it for task breakdowns and Gantt charts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Smartsheet for managing project schedules and ensuring tasks are planned and communicated effectively. It solves the problem of scheduling high importance tasks and helps highlight resource constraints. The Gantt chart and sheet linking simplify viewing task schedules and identifying clashes.

What do you like best about the product?
I find the resource view to be the biggest benefit for us. The project plans are clear and they suit the granular way in which we plan our projects and assign tasks to our team. This helps us ensure that our team isn't overloaded, which is very important for us. People aren't overworked, and they have the headspace to be productive and deliver a great quality product. It's really about managing that workload on an individual basis in a dynamic environment. Also, the initial setup was pretty easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of our people don't like the Excel vibe of the plans. They also don't like the resource view kind of detail. It's specific to people who struggle with those types of documents anyway, and it hampers how many of our people can be really proactive in Smartsheet. But we do have people who are quite adept at using the tool and have no issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Smartsheet to manage multiple projects efficiently, especially when facing constant changes. The resource view helps avoid overloading our team, ensuring productivity and high-quality deliverables. Project plans are clear and fit our detailed planning approach.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the layout of Smartsheet, especially the Grid View with different columns for task name, owner, status, and due date. It makes it easier for me to manage and prioritize payroll cycles by clearly seeing due dates and identifying which tasks need to be addressed first. The initial setup was easy to understand, which was great for my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the lack of effective conditional formatting an issue. It would be useful to have colors like red for overdue, orange for tasks due soon, and green for completed ones to easily track task statuses.

I use Smartsheet for managing payroll requests, operational issues, and providing instant solutions, which helps prioritize and communicate effectively about payroll cycles.

The ability to work multiple people on a document, creating a great collaborative tool.

Sometimes the loading time could be annoying

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Smartsheet acts like Excel but allows me to see items in a calendar or Gantt view, and there are automation tools. These are the exact tools I needed to consolidate everything with one software. I also found the initial setup of Smartsheet to be very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The automation could be improved. It's very limited; for example, after clearing a cell, I can't perform any actions.
