Wonderful Project Management Suite
What do you like best about the product?
We've used smartsheets to track and organize our projects on a tactical level, but have also trasnlated that tactical tracking into reports and visual dashboards to keep our stakeholders aligned.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limitations with dashboard visualization and more complex design features.

What do you like best about the product?
I strongly recommend SmartSheets forms, the benefits which have consistently assisted my Customer Care to process internal sales team contacts has been very valuable. We can set forms up to request the information the team needs to complet most queries fist time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more straighforward instruction for people who find technical stuff hard.

What do you like best about the product?
Automation , regarding to send e-mails for reminder , warning or task following help us to manage the different activities we develop during product design.
The easy to configure when we need to run a POC (proof of concept) for testing WEB tooling solutions , this protrotipe is very easy to integrate and use as a final App.
Its frequently used in all our team projects due the easy to use.

What do you dislike about the product?
limited capacity for customize graphs , sometimes we required a more specific graphs or multiple graphs
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A Custom app to report -track -follow and upload evidence opportunities found during our NPI stages

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is cloud-based and multiple users can work on it almost simultaneously. I like side-by-side project timelines and Gantt charts. Conditional well formatting offers a lot of options. I have been using Smartsheet for over 7 years now and I like it and have recommended it to several coworkers. My team uses Smartsheet weekly and we find it to be easy to implement it in our project management.
What do you dislike about the product?
Finding the right project template is not always easy - I found myself having to copy/rename my previous ones. Some templates do not appear to be easily edited, to allow the addition of certain categories. Gantt charts can be exported as pdf, but they are not very easy to integrate into Word or Power point documents.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is easy to use, create timelines, and share with collaborators.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet offers a robust platform for project and program management that easily links together interconnect workstreams/teams to help you manage resources to meet your overall goals. The automation capabilities allow sheet admins to quickly and seamlessly communicate with dispersed project teams. Available features (dynamic view, data shuttle, pivot, etc) are determined by the agreement/contract with Smartsheet allowing users to purchase an offering catered to their unique needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limitations to customization capabilities for automated notifications, formula limitations (smartsheet is not a 1:1 mirror of excel capabilities), extremely limited capability to display charts and graphs, non user friendly pivot tables, and sheet capacity limitations that can be frustrating when working with large datasets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has helped us automate daily call out intake, tracking, and workload balancing for 30+ locations and 50+ departments with seamless and near real time notification to impacted teams using automatic notifications. We've effectively decreased administrative burden by 60% for this task allowing us to redeploy resources to higher priorities.
Helpful Work Space for Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Multiple users can edit and share live data all at once. Creates one location for us to track our project statuses on. I work within this space daily and gives the team live updates on all projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
You need to make sure either you have your permissions set properly or encompassing training for the team memebers involved. We had a couple people delete data that had to be recreated from scratch
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to put all current order status with tracking, backorders and notes for all the project managers. Decreases the number of emails/calls I get from the different teams looking for product status

Since Smartsheet is cloud-based, it is accessible anywhere. It is customizable and easy upload attachments. A variety of templates are available for various tasks. Customer support and resources are available.

There is a learning curve. It can be cumbersome to use.

It helps record technical assistance given to clients.
Easy to use program for automating the simple stuff. Invaluable time saver!
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheets is fairly easy to use at first glance. There are extensive knowledge articles and trainings that assist in on-boarding with training of the program. If you are familiar at all with logic/automation, this program will be easy to master. The more you learn, the more complex your sheets/automations can become. This is highly customizable and is an excellent asset to our agency. We save an immense amount of time with this program. Customer support is always available to answer questions and there is extensive articles/forums for help. We use this daily for multiple different program areas. Processes can easily be conbined into easy to read data sets/reports. Workflows are easy to map and implement. I highly recommend this product to any business seeking to scale and become more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many of the services are broken out into different pricing structures making some solutions difficult to navigate for each specific niche or use case. However their staff are knowledgable about what services can fit your use case to assist in this decision making process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating tasks and keeping track of deadlines/tasks to be completed. On-boarding and off-boarding employees. Training tracking. This product is truly maleable and can fit a multitude of needs.
Smartsheet user at a basic level
What do you like best about the product?
I think what is most helpful about Smartsheet is the ability to have tasks, reminders, and notes all in one place. The reminders are super helpful and helps me, personally, stay on track. The sheets are so customizable that there is almost certainly a way to figure out to track/do what you are trying to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say that the downside of using Smartsheet is that you and your team/organization have to "live" in Smartsheet, and if everyone isn't using Smartsheet, things can get disjointed quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Smartsheet to manage our marketing team's social media calendar. We drat the posts in there and that is also where we receive edits (approved users can go in and make changes) and approval (the superiors can go in and check a box once they review/approve). This is an example of a task that used to take multiple emails to complete, where now everything exists in Smartsheets as the one source of truth for our social media calendar.
We also use Smartsheet to track the planning process for advisory board meetings and other date-driven events like webinars. Again, it is the one source of truth for when items are due and it also holds people accountable for what tasks belong to them. This is another area that used to be made up of a lot of emails and spreadsheets, but now everything lives in one place.

Great online management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a great way to manage projects, share spreadsheets, and analyze data online with your colleagues and peers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet does not have all of the same capabilities as Excel

Excel is sometimes tough to use when multiple people have to be editing the same documents. Smartsheet provides an easy-to-use platform where you can share data and sheets with colleagues for editing and info-sharing.
