Fast but limited.
What do you like best about the product?
It is easily accessible on any browser with a wide range of formaulas available. Also, it can be easily merged with other smartsheets as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has limited ability when it comes to larger sets of data

It serves as a one stop destination for my data where I can have multiple sheets under a reprository and have multiple people access the database with ease
Smartsheet review after 3years of use
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the workflow integration within the tool; it efficiently automates tasks and ensures everyone stays informed about changes in tasks, activities, or projects. The learning curve isn't steep, especially if you're already familiar with Excel, and the customer support is great. Being an online application, it also minimizes implementation challenges. Overall, it's been a valuable asset for our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Multiple automated notifications are bundled together and displayed in a landscape format, which cannot be changed to a portrait structure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It bridges the gap between enterprise applications' inability to track daily requests/tasks and the management of these tasks across various teams.

Friendly interface, easy to use, intuitive
What do you dislike about the product?
Tha doesn't offer some options to connect and collaborate with other repoting tools/apps such as Google Slides/PowerPoint, it can be beneficial to generate some presentations modes for a subset of information coming from a smarsheet project.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to aggregate data from many project schedules into flexible / customizable reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
Latency and loading times occuring somewhat often. Maximum row limitations in standard reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet provided an excellent solution to combine: 1. Our project activity shedules 2. Our financial revenue linked to project activities 3. Our internal task (resource) management 4. Cross-project coordination and planning

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to quickly create shared data, sheets and views with either a custom defined group or with an organized predefined team based on the hierarchy of folder set up.
The ability to share sheets with users who are not licensed & allow them to contribute updates to the work we're doing.
Ability to create 'subsets' of reports on specific pieces of data to specific users, but allow that data to be amassed into a master sheet to allow for cross team and cross process coordination.
Privacy of sheets by creator- even this data isn't visible to an Admin in the application.
The ability to share sheets with users who are not licensed & allow them to contribute updates to the work we're doing.

What do you dislike about the product?
Because of the privacy of sheets, employee transition of sheets during attrition can be confusing and difficult. I've personally enheritied many sheets because of layoffs and departures and I have no idea what they are or what their purpose is.
Integrations are in in jeapordy when employees turn over. We have to use a license and dedicate it to an 'integration user' to ensure integrations don't fail when employees turnover.
Tableau connector for Mac based machines is unusable and not supported. I've wasted a ton of time trying to build reporting tools connected to our sheets only to have to abandon the work completely and replace some of our sheets with Google sheets because of trying to connect Tableau to SmartSheets on a Mac just doesn't work.

Primarily global program management standardization, coordination and reporting; resource management & reporting (using our own sheets, not smartsheets resourcing tool), and financial proforma projections for our services team.
Effective, scalable and flexible platform
What do you like best about the product?
Flexible use cases across departments with varying levels of complexity. Ability for free users to interact and use the platform is critical for adoption and cost benefit.
What do you dislike about the product?
Removed the ability to approve/deny requests directly from email. UI can be improved in certain views.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Supporting request flow and cross department task tracking, colloboration, and work managment.
Smart to filter
What do you like best about the product?
Keeps the data sorted, organized and is much powerful then an basic excel!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing! As such, just if it can merge two or three sheets into one and have multiple sheets with one smartsheet!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can visualize data without involvement of excels, boards, etc.
Great for PMS, but sometimes hard to share outside a PM community
What do you like best about the product?
Clear deliverables, clear owners, clear cascade and milestone creations. You can attach notes and documents, comments, plus drag and drop item lines into other phases of the project
What do you dislike about the product?
There's no decent Gannt chart view when you get beyond 80+ deliverables for a large audience. Neither is the calendar viewable / sensible at that point. I've had to recreate everything visually on a plan on a page. If everyone in our charity had Smartsheet (which we don't we only have 10 licenses) it'd not be so much of a problem I think...

Allowing for a managed view of complex Projects
Smartsheet is an advance tool which reduces your efforts in governance
What do you like best about the product?
The automation part is the best thing in smartsheet. You can set reminders in few seconds whereas in Excel it takes sometime.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are few formulas which doesn't work on Smartsheet especially lengthy formulas. We can have only 20k rows due to which it cannot be used for bigger files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Multiple users can use smartsheet at a same point of time hasslefree and like I mentioned automation and notification part is next level.
Easiness of use to prepare schedules
What do you like best about the product?
The easiness to create Project Management Schedule.
What do you dislike about the product?
It needs a lot of work and manipulation to get into it but after it is really easy.
