User-friendly tool for collaboration and project management
What do you like best about the product?
My team and I use Smartsheet daily. The best part is the ability to collaborate on multiple projects on a single shared platform. This keeps us organized and provides everyone with visibility on project status and data-related tasks. Sheets update in real-time so that all team members are working with the same information. It’s user-friendly too, so everyone is able to use the tool easily and new users can be brought up to speed quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, Smartsheet is a great tool, though some of the customizability of cells is limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A specific function of Smartsheet that has been helpful is the ability to quickly transform a project sheet into a web-hosted report with custom fields. Any updates to the sheet are reflected in the report in real-time for the client, as opposed to having to resend updated versions.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is great tool for everyday use. The workflow is extremely flexibility, allowing customization for varying projects and business types. The application gives thorough instructions on how to use the extensive features and customer support has also been very available to us if we need.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing I particularly dislike but setting rules or automations can sometimes be tricky to do. It has been helpful in the past to watch the videos they have on the Help and Learning page to give more details.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows our team to efficiently organize projects by prioritizing ease of use while also presenting detailed information clearly. It offers numerous advantages, such as customizable features and views, calendar management, and email notifications that keep our team informed as deadlines approach. These extensive features set Smartsheet apart from other project management applications.
I like customization in this we can track end to end for PM the main thing I like about is workflow

In fact it making our works easy due to auto workflows and inbuilt templates that saves lot of time we easily use them

logging in takes a while something, page will freeze while working on it.

project coordination - with the many tools it has I'm able to organize the project flow for our company, calendar view gives me an idea of the progress of my crew and when I will have opening for new projects.

What do you like best about the product?
The grids/sheets are easy to build and I can gather as many details as I need.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are advanced features available that are not as intuitive as I'd like. Maybe have Smartsheet suggest features based upon the data entered on a sheet. Otherwise, need to reference training material to build features into sheets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is providing a tool that allows us to manage our customer's projects with the ability to provide online collaboration with others and manage their access. The features within the sheets allow us to manage conversations/status and attach any needed materials.
Easy to learn, Easy to use, Flexible and Adaptable to your needs
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is very easy to use and get up to speed on. There are a lot of tools built in that can help you use it for a variety of work tasks. The use cases are genuinly pretty endless.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet tends to prompt people to request licenses to do tasks that do not need a license. Be mindful of this for those you give access to sheets, but do not need licenses for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can track my work breakdowns and budgets all in one place and quickly update them as things change.

What do you like best about the product?
The automations between the sheet/schedule and the other forms/reports is fantastic. I appreciate the comprehensive dashboard and executive views.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not a Smartsheet issue, its more for me to understand what drives what and how the metadata comes into play.

A Day in the Life of a Smartsheet User
What do you like best about the product?
What really sets Smartsheet apart is the collaboration I have with my coworkers. We have a lot of moving parts at my company and many people from many departments can all make changes on one sheet and that keeps us focused on improving the customer expereince.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be a bit tedious when creating a fresh Smartsheet for everyone to use. But a little effort at the beginning can really help out in the long term.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Like I said earlier in the review, collaboration between departments is the best value I see with Smartsheet. We're a dealership and we have quite a few requirements we need to take to fully onboard a customer into our ecosystem. Different departments all have a different role in this process and opening the Smartsheet and visually seeing where each customer is on their journey is much easier than picking up a phone or sending an email.

What do you dislike about the product?
some of the features require more license costs, so unsure about the effectiveness of these additional requirements without spending money.

What do you like best about the product?
Creating pre-NTP and post-NTP project schedules with predecessors is key. Once your schedule is refined you can just copy and paste it over to the next project.
What do you dislike about the product?
Gant Chart is too hard to read. Need LIVE track changes featured. Would like more embedded features (multiple tabs in one sheet) and more functionality with conditional formatting.

Identifying critial path items through construction schedules. Communicating schedules to clients and team members efficiently. Forecasting payables and receivables.
