Easy collaborative spreadsheet
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to filter in 1 million different ways and the ability to mention someone's name they get notified regarding their action
What do you dislike about the product?
Inability to filter and provide sums for the filtered groups when you have costs assigned to those line items.
For example, having multiple subtotals with ease.

Helps me keep track of team deliverables, updates, and help set reminders by responsibility person in an easier manner
Great platform for sharing data with the team resulting in efficiency and productivity
What do you like best about the product?
Access to LIVE business data anytime, anywhere (from any smart device with WI-FI connection)
What do you dislike about the product?
Losing access to Smartsheet for whatever reason can definitely hamper business operations, esspecially if you rely on it day to day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralising our production schedule and procurement list so key stakeholders can jump in and view progress.
Great product for simple project management
What do you like best about the product?
Reports and dashboards. Both of them are very useful for data analysis. More complex reviews are available using Excel connector

No possibility to have formulas over reports. Sometimes it is slow when loading a sheet.

Very helpful tool for team planning
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheets has been a really helpful for our team to track, assign and manage team tasks. As a manager I use it every day to see what each person on the team is working on and helps to run analytics to showcase the accomplishments of my team at the end of the year. The attachment feature in sheets that allows you to attach documents to a specific row facilitates information sharing and helps to organize critical documents for a given task. I also use the Gantt features for planning major, multi-year and/or multi-stakeholder projects. The Gantt view and dependencies is critical for keeping projects on their timeline and for planning out when and how pieces of complicated projects should come together.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have found that there is a little bit of a learning curve in using smartsheets. Some of the basic features like setting up a sheet are intuitive and knowledge from other tools like Excel do carry over. However, there are so many more advanced features and tools that are useful that it really takes some time and energy to learn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheets is helping me solve project management adn team task management issues. Our team works on many projects, recurring and one-off, simultaneously and are constantly managing competing timelines. Smartsheets helps to plan and organize predictable and cyclical tasks in addition to organizing and tracking immediate needs as they arise.

What do you dislike about the product?
Kanban card needs more improvement. Collaboration is not as good as Google Sheets. Need more features for free users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Manage the project for the entire organization.
This product has made organization and collaboration much easier!
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create workflows and automate notifications has made invoicing of milestones for projects much easier and seamless. Project timelines can be tracked and changed as needed - beyond just the functionality of a spreadsheet, Smartsheet also functions as a construction schedule. Using Smartsheet and integrating it into Procore has helped me manage complex projects with multiple vendors and subcontractors. I use Smartsheets on a daily basis and it's made things much easier.
The learing curve to adopt Smartsheets was very quick and with the integrated documentation, it's easy to figure out features and functions.
Any time I've had to reach out to customer support, they have been very responsive and helpful.

What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if more excel/google sheets fucntions were available (i.e. ability to perform calculations, sum areas, etc)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Document control, revision version and a single space to share and collaborate on projects and documents.

What do you like best about the product?
The automated feature and templated is what makes smart sheet stand out. It takes a lot of the "setting up" out of data management, and allows you to virtualize the information much more readily. The different view modes are helpful for those who process information differently, or based on what is the purpose of the data set. All in all a lot of useful features that are beyond what simple excel can do.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are limitations to Dashboarding. (ie. how the plots are generated, formated, or what data can and cannot be referenced).
There is a steep learning curve when you actually want to use it to it's full potential. There are nuances like how to populate cells in a certain order so as not to overwrite another. It's a little annoying, but manageable and worth it to use some of the automated features.

the neatness and the ability to chexk back on the history in a sheet

it can sometimes be slow or on very full sheets it can take a while for it to reload\save

What do you like best about the product?
I have been able to use Smartsheet to create forms that are very useful in my daily operations. They are easy to use and I like the way the system allows you to "remind" or "assign" people to certain things.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not use Smartsheet to the fullest capacity so I don't have any negative comments at this time. I do sometimes struggle to find things the first time around but this is probably due to not using the platform as frequently as i'd like and not because of the system setup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One very specific problem it has solved, is that my team needed a form to use internally that allowed for picture uploads and also the ability to assign certain duties to specific people depending on what items were clicked on the form. Smartsheet allowed us to do all of that! It also helps with moving tasks along and I find the "remind" feature very helpful.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a very easy to use tool and quite intuitive as well. It is very easy to learn and has some great help articles as well which make it easier for users to navigate the product. It is great for project management and can be utilized to a great degree for effective project management.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I dislike about smartsheet right now.

Smartsheet provides on unified spot for collaboration between all resources and provides visibility into project progress. It is easy to use and has several features like emails and tagging to help keep people on track.
