great for small businesses
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is easy because it has features similiar to excel, which most people are already familiar with. There was no real training needed to get employees on board and using immediately. Sharing and keeping information up to date is easy across our small business.
What do you dislike about the product?
I just don't have time to dive deep into all the additional features smartsheet has to offer. I get emails regarding learning opportunities filling my inbox often and I am just not able to at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have not had any problems with smartsheet so the lack of issues is definetly a benefit

somehow if smartsheet can help to visulize the study progress at the same window, that would be great

Simple and Useful
What do you like best about the product?
The teamwork capacity and possibility to add attachements to a cell within an excel-type document

its calculations capacity is not as strong as excel

What do you like best about the product?
I use Smartsheet to deliver research to clients and track progress and milestones for multiple projects. I love the ability to create dashboards easily to view information from a wholstic perspective, and most importantly I love using the Index function to push and pull information from one sheet to another automatically. I have also used the automatic email notification function which is useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are instances where Smartsheet does not load quickly or is out of service for a few hours. This can be an inconvenience. I have also had some functions not operate as they should (as in not pull the information they should be). Typically these bugs resolve themselves in a couple days but it has been an issue in the past.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows my team to interface with our client teams and provide live updates that cannot be overwritten. That has been a problem in the past!
Practical and Informative
What do you like best about the product?
How you can track a project progress and share with others. How convenience is to have all the projects in a single working space and organized. It is a very nice tool for program management and easy to implement. Customer support is always available!
What do you dislike about the product?
I really dont see a downside. Probably that sometimes it is not straight forward but I guess the more you use it the more you get familiar with it.

Intuitive Project Management for People who do not like Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
The spreadsheet interface is comforting. Unlike other PM software tools, Smartsheet is intuitive and easy to start using. I also appreciate the myriad online teaching tools to help with the advanced features. The new AI features are intriguing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheets appears to limit the number of rows importable for display into dashboards and vizualizations. There's also a limit to the complexity of statisitcal formulae. Document versioning needs improvement - it's difficult to know which document is the most recent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is the easiest and best tool I've found to keep internal and external resources informed on the status of tasks and projects. The big benefit is spending more time on the project and less time on project management.
Perfect for Organizations
What do you like best about the product?
Having things organized in a consumable way and sharing across all internal affairs, the ease of implementing project management and updates make it fair to update all team members in a timely way.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be difficult to sort through templates and get sheets organized at first but after you organize a template for usage, it becomes quite easy for everyone in the organization to use internally.

Notifying team members internally when tagged on project management status updates.

Comprehensive Tool with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a highly useful and comprehensive service packed with a wide range of features. I particularly like its collaboration tools, which make it easier for large teams to work together seamlessly. The workflow automation feature is excellent for streamlining data flows and sending notifications, saving time and reducing manual effort. Another standout is its compatibility with other platforms like MS Project and Excel, making import/export tasks effortless. The variety of templates is also impressive, providing flexibility and a great starting point for various projects.

What do you dislike about the product?
One drawback is its integration capabilities. While Smartsheet can be interacted by external systems via Smartsheet APIs, it lacks the oposite ability when Smartsheet can consume simple APIs to fetch/transmit data from external systems, which would greatly enhance its functionality. Additionally, the support experience needs improvement. I raised Case#: 05639085 regarding a gap in the Pivot premium functionality for Grand Totals, providing detailed explanations and screenshots. Unfortunately, the issue was mishandled, with the ticket being closed without proper acknowledgment or resolution. This gap in support responsiveness and understanding can be frustrating.

I mainly use Smartsheet as a project tracker tool. It helps me keep track of task statuses, organize updates, and make detailed notes for each task, ensuring nothing gets overlooked during project execution.
