Effortless Note-Taking and Documentation

  • January 29, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how incredibly usable Notion is. It's super easy to link to both internal and external documents. The formatting and commands are quick and easy to use, and the resulting documents look good too. I also appreciate the excellent integrations with productivity tools like Miro and Mermaid graphs. Embedding these tools into pages is a big plus for me. The initial setup was so easy I don't even remember doing it, which is exactly how an install should be.
What do you dislike about the product?
The sidebar management isn't ideal, I could do with profiles I could switch between, to keep different contexts separate. The spaces alone aren't quite enough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for taking short-form notes and converting them into documentation and messages. It's great for turning a scratchpad into a coherent timeline of events.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it’s hard to know how to bold text and little stuff like that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Notion has allowed me to gather almost everything in one place.

  • January 28, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I love about Notion is that I can use it from free templates, paid ones, and I can also build my own databases.

Having all my things in the same place, centralized, in an environment that works consistently is reliable is a big plus for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
It happens that some features are a bit obscure, but since I have only been using Notion regularly for a few weeks (only occasionally before), I think it's a normal learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem that Notion solved is reducing the scattering of my notes and task lists across multiple applications. The key to all this for me: databases. To my knowledge, there is nothing I cannot note and manage in Notion. After several years of trying different apps and software, I didn't think I would find what Notion offers me. As mentioned, the learning curve is a bit steep at times, but that's the case with any app or software.

Unlimited Templates and Spot-On Customization in Notion

  • January 28, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the unlimited templates that notion offers. The customization is spot on
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like more customization, perhaps more dynamic widgets. I also would like the iOS integration to be a little better. If you could offer more shortcuts available by default that work immediately with iOS shortcuts that would be awesome. Shortcuts ios needs more improvement
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a single site to deploy the workflow or planning out agendas

Ultimate Knowledge Management with a Steep Learning Curve

  • January 27, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion as an all-in-one data database, and I love that I can have everything in Notion, basically as my knowledge management tool. It keeps everything organized, and I can search it easily by putting in one keyword to find everything related to it. This feature makes life so much easier. I was able to import my Trello pages into Notion, which was very nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve of Notion is rather steep. I would love more resources in the software to help you navigate and create better pages. It was hard for me to think away from Trello. It would have been nice to have Notion 101 videos right at the start to help the building process more doable. Notion is very robust so it was actually very hard. Setting up everything else seems daunting and very complicated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion as an all-in-one database to stay organized at work. It simplifies finding information with keyword searches, making my life easier.
