Clear Interface, Versatile Collaborations
What do you like best about the product?
I find the clarity of Notion's platform really useful, as it makes the teamwork more easily. I love that you can create boards and pages right within Notion without needing to switch to another platform. It's an all-in-one solution for everything I need. The initial setup was the easiest thing I have ever thought; it's so simple and clear.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that Notion cannot be connected with Outlook.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for managing my marketing team and graphic design department, assigning tasks and users. It streamlines content management, customer relationship management, and project management.
Adaptable, Notebook-Like Tool with Powerful Folders, Subfolders, and Calendar Mode
What do you like best about the product?
At first glance, it looks very similar to a notebook, but it includes a glossary with seemingly endless folders and subfolders to classify the information you need. It can also adapt that same information into schedules through its calendar mode, and it offers plenty more beyond that. Overall, it’s quite adaptable and broad in its uses, but it feels best suited for someone who already has experience with at least three management tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
It offers a variety of uses, which can sometimes be confusing when you’re trying to figure out how to proceed or what to select. It also doesn’t provide recommendations based on the information you’re entering, so you’re often left to decide on your own.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s one of the best note-taking tools I’ve used. It offers a great variety of options and feels well thought out. It also helps me refine ideas for posts and notifies me when they’re ready to be published.
Customizable but Lacks Essential Features
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Notion is very customizable, letting me create whatever I want with a lot of different options and templates I can use. It's helpful because I can bring my ideas to life, whether it's making notes in a flash card format or setting up a visually friendly planner or dashboard layout. I appreciate the templates, saving me time when I need something that I can just plug and chug. The fact that Notion has many different purposes and is constantly getting new features is great. I think it's very user-friendly, and I enjoy using it because it helps keep me organized, which is especially nice for people who like to be organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion is really user-friendly, but at the same time, sometimes there are basic features that are lacking. Sometimes I feel like something should be possible, and it's not. For example, you can't do multiple columns unless you establish those columns first and then put it under a toggle heading. Some basic things need to be added for sure. The calendar feature is great that it's coming into play, but it needs to be tuned a little bit more because it's not the most integrative friendly. I think if there was maybe different fonts, that would be nice. Notion can definitely be a little overwhelming at first due to the lot of customizability features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to organize all my thoughts and class notes in one place, providing a user-friendly landing page that's easy to access. It's highly customizable, allowing me to create whatever I need, and with templates, it saves me time.
AI Notes I Love in Notion Form
What do you like best about the product?
AI Notes is incredible. I love that I can stay focused on the conversation while Notion takes notes for me in the background, so I don’t have to worry about missing anything.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion Form does not have a landing page to divert those who shouldn't be filling out the form.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This AI bot can build databases in seconds, which is much faster than doing it manually.
Aesthetic and Easy, Needs Planner Feature
What do you like best about the product?
I just like how aesthetically pleasing it looks and how I'm able to organize and find things more efficiently. It's really easy to navigate and the initial setup was very easy with all the tips and the tutorial.
What do you dislike about the product?
I hope that in the future there's a planner-type version of Notion. The culture nowadays is heavily influenced by the organized aesthetic of having a planner and organizing your day. I feel like if Notion integrated that with all of its current features, it could have a very successful planner where users can customize their planner to their liking using AI features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't feel Notion solves any specific problems for me, but I appreciate how it's aesthetically pleasing and makes organizing and finding things more efficient.
User-Friendly Task Management with Notion
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Notion is very user-friendly. I could essentially just copy and paste what I needed into the page.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find adding in pictures or graphs to be a bit challenging when trying to explain certain concepts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me provide employees a clear picture of their responsibilities.
Notion Replaced Evernote for Less—Plus Many More AI-Powered Extras
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Notion for me is its comprehensive replacement of my former software of choice - Evernote - and then its additional stack of AI-related abilities and other features on top of what Evernote offered—all for a little less than the price of Evernote's new highly inflated prices.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, the only thing I've disliked about Notion was the one time when, after purchasing the yearly Business Plan membership, the software defaulted to the Free plan status, which was locking me out of my AI transcript and summary that I needed for work. For some reason, when I logged into the browser version of Notion, it restored my Business Plan status on the desktop software. So in the end, it wasn't too disruptive, but it was quite annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving what was a big problem for me, which was organizing meetings and the reocordings/transcriptions of those meetings, between multiple video meeting hosts, such as Zoom, Google Meet, and Teams. Now with Notion, anything that's in my calendar is easy to create a Notion page for, and to one-click start transcribing, regardless of what video client was being used. This is a great example of what I hope is just the beginning of how agentic AI can solve actual productivity problems. It's also only one problem Notion is helping with, but it's the most important one.
Transformative All-in-One Solution with Stellar AI Assistant
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for everything, including my real business and podcast, and I do all sorts of content creation with it. I have it with three employees, and the AI writing assistant is the best thing I've ever seen. It has really helped me get organized, and I absolutely love it. The built-in AI helps me take my chaotic ADHD brain's crazy thoughts and put them into an organized fashion, which keeps my tasks in order and my team on track. I like the Notion interface and find it great for project management. I also appreciate being able to track what my employees are doing, including different tasks. The AI's ability to build out different team spaces has been a game changer for me. The initial setup was super easy, especially with AI building a lot for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm still new, so I'm not 100% sure if I can figure this out. But it'd be nice to have a team calendar that syncs to my Google so we can see every task for the day. I'd also like all the tasks to go to my calendar so I don't necessarily have to log in to Notion to see what I have to do for the day. And I can also continue to get reminders. I would also like Notion to nudge me on things and tell me, 'Hey, you put this in two months ago, and you haven't done anything with it. Is it still relevant? Do you want to delete it?' Basically, be my assistant for me. It would be great if it could link to Follow Up Boss or any of my other tools. It'd also be great if it could be a scheduler onto my social media so we could take the content calendar and just automatically have things scheduled.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me organize my chaotic brain and manage tasks with my team. The AI feature is a game changer, organizing my ideas and enabling effective project management. It replaced disorganized methods like WhatsApp and emails, making us ready for future plans.
Streamlined Our Workflow with Notion
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy using Notion for my project management because it lets me see all my calendars in one place, which is something Apple Calendar and Google Calendar couldn't do. I love the AI feature that helps me process different tasks I'm working on, and I'm enjoying playing around with building private pages and adding elements like calendars and databases. Notion's integration with Zapier and Google is really seamless, making it a good fit with the tools I already use. It's also affordable, and the price compared to what I was paying for a virtual assistant made it an easy decision to sign up for a year. I really love the databases and AI features, even though I'm using the calendar the most. I've also worked Notion into my daily routine, logging in to view my calendar and mail. I have the desktop, browser, and app versions on both my phones, and it's been easy to set up. I've already recommended Notion to everybody, so it's definitely a 10 in my book.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm still pretty new to Notion, so I haven't found things that don't work as well. I do plan to change it from the dark interface. Hopefully, I can do that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion allows me to see all my calendars in one place, unlike Apple or Google Calendar. It helps me manage databases and notes for various projects in one location. I love its AI features and the calendar tool is probably what I use most.
Powerful Knowledgebase for Growing Companies (but not for the tech-unsavvy)
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to learn the basics, worthwhile to learn the advanced features. It is a great centralized knowledgebase for any growing company.
What do you dislike about the product?
The desktop application feels like (and is) just a webpage wrapped up as a standalone app. It still freezes, requires refreshing, and otherwise loads like a website. No telephone support makes it difficult for older/more traditional companies to implement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My business depends on lots of institutional knowledge which is currently locked up in people's brains. Getting it out into Notion means that we can then iterate upon that knowledge, tweak the way we do things, and carefully document each new phase of our business's growth. It speeds up onboarding, troubleshooting, and operational efficiency across the board.
