Notion review

  • February 09, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility to build custom systems that match how I actually think. I can capture everything from quick diary entries to deep market research in one place, with databases that grow organically over time. Pages can accumulate information (like tracking everything I know about a person or iteratively refining an idea), and the tagging/search makes it all retrievable later. It's replaced multiple tools and my own memory with a single searchable knowledge base
What do you dislike about the product?
Mobile app inconsistencies - features work differently between Mac and iOS (meeting transcription auto-prompts, auto-save locations). Also ran into subscription recognition bugs where the iOS app didn't realize I was subscribed until I clicked around for a while. The Apple in-app purchase vs direct Notion subscription confusion was frustrating - different feature access depending on where you bought it. Would love a widget to trigger AI meeting notes directly instead of navigating through multiple screens.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It consolidates scattered information into one retrievable system. Instead of forgetting what I discussed with someone, losing track of half-formed ideas, or re-researching the same market intelligence, I have a single source of truth that accumulates over time. I can dictate diary entries, track what people care about for better relationships, refine business ideas iteratively, and aggregate industry research that directly informs strategic decisions at my healthcare tech company. It's replaced multiple apps and my own unreliable memory with a searchable knowledge base that actually grows more valuable the longer I use it.

Great experience and makes everything streamlined for me

  • February 06, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Notion has been super helpful for me. It keeps all my productivity stuff in one space where I can take notes, manage tasks, and set up different databases without switching between apps. I like that I can make it totally my own too, depending on what I’m working on. Sometimes that’s tracking payments, planning a job search, or getting organized for a new job.
What I really like about Notion is how easy it is to customize and keep everything connected. It works on my phone and computer, and it always syncs right away, which makes things really smooth. It’s also great for sharing pages or working with others at the same time. Plus, the templates make it easy to get started if you don’t want to build everything from scratch.
Overall, it’s just a super flexible tool that helps me stay organized and keep everything in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really like Notion overall, but there are a few things that bug me. It can feel a bit slow or heavy sometimes, especially with bigger pages or databases, and it definitely has a learning curve when you’re first setting it up. I also wish the mobile app felt a little more streamlined because it’s not as smooth to build or edit more complex pages on my phone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me keep everything in one place instead of scattered across different apps, random notes, and spreadsheets. I use it to manage tasks, keep track of payments, plan my job search, and organize things for a new role, so I’m not constantly hunting for info in different places. Having one workspace for all of that makes it easier to stay on top of deadlines and follow-ups, and it gives me a clearer
picture of what I need to do each week.

Versatile Block Architecture That Delivers

  • February 06, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's versatility and it's block architecture
What do you dislike about the product?
It should have worked offline too. And should have more mapping features
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me solve the problem of juggling multiple documents across my notepad and doc folders. Editing in Notion is also easy, since I can quickly turn any block into something else, and I can insert a new block in between without having to touch or disrupt the other blocks.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Notion's intuitive UI and how it makes it easy for other people to see what tasks are assigned and what to prioritize. It really helps team members understand their roles and allows for easy collaboration. Plus, setting it up was pretty easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes annoying to create new tables and edit graphs. I'm not used to the tools for doing so, maybe a help tool would be nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me organize tasks, keep track of to-dos, and communicate with team members effectively. Its intuitive UI makes it easy for others to see assigned tasks, their roles, and priorities, fostering easy collaboration.

Completely Customisable Tool That Keeps My Work Organised

  • February 06, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It helps me organise my work. It’s completely customisable, and I can download it to my computer as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creating my own templates feels complicated, so I usually rely on templates made by other people instead. Right now I don’t feel confident building them from scratch.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to create lists, organise my work, plan my day, and set up my workspace so everything stays clear and structured.

Notion Just Works: One Place for Notes, Ideas, and Everything Else

  • February 06, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Notion does what it's supposed to well rather than trying to be something else. It's got a wide range of features but all centered around being a place to store notes, thoughts and ideas. I use it for everything from meeting notes to keeping an inventory of what's in the freezer and it just works without a fuss. It also works seamlessly across my multiple desktop's and mobile so I always have the latest copy of my notes wherever I need them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found switching from another product tricky, I personally found a bit of a learning curve for the interface especially with some of the more 'advanced' features. They work absolutely fine just a case of getting used to them and understanding what's possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ultimately while I wouldn't use Notion for 'formal' documentation I also need somewhere to put all my thoughts, ideas, notes where I can be quick and scrappy and make those notes easy to search, this is what Notion does exceptionally well. I can start writing a note within a second, close it and very easily find it at short notice at a later date. I can also do that across multiple devices so be writing notes on my desktop and then look at them on my phone pretty quickly when I need to.

Streamlined Freelance Operations with Notion

  • February 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the AI agent in Notion and how easy it is to keep up with my dashboards while on the go through the app. The speed of the technology is great too; it keeps up with my pace.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes my Notion agent 'noodles' too long and when that happens it experiences technical difficulties. I tried connecting to my other tools, but have not had success.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to organize client work, track invoicing and emails, and develop content, effectively managing my freelance business operations.

The Ultimate Knowledge Hub for Our Team

  • February 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Honestly, the search is great. I find that I can quickly search and typically get exactly what I need in a matter of seconds. When certain Notion pages contain a lot of information from various departments, I can use Notion AI to quickly distill that down based on the type of answer or summary I'm trying to get to.
What do you dislike about the product?
N/A, I use it purely for accessing information and collateral – which works great. I can't speak to creating or managing content in Notion and how that might be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion as a hub for marketing, product, and sales, accessing collateral and customer info for effective storytelling. It keeps me informed on product updates, letting me adapt to customer needs efficiently.

Effortless Documentation with AI-Powered Notion

  • February 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like Notion's new AI capabilities. It means you don't have to search for documents anymore; you can ask a question directly and it gives you the answer. It's great because, instead of going into Slack and asking team members questions, we can use Notion AI to answer most of our questions as long as we have things well documented. Also, the initial setup of Notion for our team was pretty seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do find the organization within Notion to be a little bit frustrating. I wish there was a better way that they organize all of the different pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is a great resource for finding answers to product questions, hosting all the documentation and materials our team needs for efficient collaboration.

  • February 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I am continually impressed with Notion and how it's helping me automate tasks and get more work done in less time. It's been a great tool for building and growing our organization at the speed we want. I find it particularly useful for transcribing meetings, whether on the phone, a Zoom call, or in person. Notion does a fantastic job at capturing accurate action items, which allows me to follow up immediately and execute on those action items quickly. The AI capabilities are especially useful in cutting down my workload, as I can pass tasks to the Notion AI, speeding up processes. I've found the automation features with Notion easier and more effective compared to using a traditional CRM system.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a learning curve with Notion, and a challenge for me has been finding the time to really learn it. I feel like I'm not using it to its fullest capabilities and would like to change that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to transcribe meetings, accurately capture action items, and automate tasks. It helps me speed up follow-ups and manage donor relationships effortlessly, allowing our startup to grow efficiently.
