The Second Brain for Efficient Organization
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion as a system and a second brain for my work life, helping me with cognitive overload and organizing my documents, materials, to-dos, and calendar. It's a one-stop shop for all my information, allowing me to organize things by specific projects and create to-dos and follow-ups, which I can track later in the Notion database. This eases stress and overload from to-do items. I can also add tags, TLDRs, and other interesting details to documents to better understand them. I find the databases really cool and helpful for organization, and the search is pretty good and fast. The new Notion AI is really helpful for doing tasks and setting up mini agents, although there's still room for improvement.
What do you dislike about the product?
Definitely, the Notion AI. I think if you could build out OpenAI codex within Notion AI, that would be great. Confluence integration and MCP server support would be really cool. I think the AI blocks would be great if you could inject variables into them. So if I have a meeting note and I wanna do a one on one agenda, it would know be able to get the context of the page and throw it into the AI block and then generate it. Also, it'd be cool if the AI blocks would be able to regenerate on a schedule. So let's just say on my home page, I have a daily summary I'd love to have that be prepopulated with today's daily summary and not for me to trigger it every single time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps reduce cognitive overload and organize my documents, to-dos, and calendar. It's a one-stop shop where I can manage everything by project, add tags, TLDRs, and follow up later, which streamlines my workflow and reduces stress.
Aesthetic and Friendly Organization
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the organization that Notion offers. It is very easy to use and has an aesthetic design that I find very attractive. Additionally, it allows me to create pages with images and boards similar to those of Trello, which is very useful for my work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I need more templates, especially dashboards and things that are more pre-made and curated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion as an organizer, keeping all the team manuals in one place.

Optimal Collaboration, Flexible Layout, Website
What do you like best about the product?
I love the layout tools and the way Notion allows collaboration on pages. The ability to create websites to share information is really appreciated, especially when it comes to sharing them with people who are not part of the project or who do not yet have a Notion account. The collaboration is fantastic because it allows each team member to participate in writing information, commenting, and asking questions when necessary. The layout and integrations allow for better organization of articles, making it easier to read and find information.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the options for inviting people to a project are very confusing, which has led to accidentally removing access or adding someone as an owner. I would like to have even more layout tools for finer customization, such as precisely choosing what appears in the summary and including titles inside the dropdowns. Improve tables or databases, like being able to add images without them being displayed very small. Have synchronized texts and lock their modification on certain pages, or integrate pages or page excerpts into another page. The export of pages to PDF could be improved, both in terms of layout and the ability to modify them more easily with PDF editing tools.
New people also have trouble getting to grips with Notion, as they are faced with all the features at once and there is a lot to know about it. But once you get the hang of it, it's easy to navigate.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to easily organize my class notes and projects. It solves the organization of information, allows adding well-formatted images, and facilitates team collaboration. Creating websites is ideal for sharing information with those outside the project.
Highly Customizable, Yet Needs Easier Adjustments
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Notion makes it pretty simple to create new databases and fields. I appreciate being able to create unique columns, answers, and formats that other CRMs might limit. Also, the initial setup is easy, which is a big plus for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many times I think of things as I go, after the initial database has been created, that I want to add/adjust later. It's simple to add new fields to the platform but becomes more complicated when you are dealing with Rollups and Relations. I wish there was an easier way to quickly and easily make adjustments after the fact. I also wish that you could do things that would apply to multiple records. For example, I'm using templates and let's say I created 20 records using a certain template but then realized I wanted to make some adjustments, I have to manually go in and change each individual one, rather than having the option to make a universal update and have it reflected on records that used the previous version of the template. No. I wish I knew how to connect it with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and my Email/Calendar but I'm not technical enough and wouldn't want to ruin the information I already have put so much time into.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to organize everything in one place, track progress, and keep a record of details. It's my personal database for career opportunities and content creation.

I like how easy it is to set up new sections and keep information up to date in Notion. It's great to be able to manage sharing and user access easily. Having subject matter experts set up guides and pages without needing technical assistance is really key. The initial setup was very easy with the use of templates, which helped us jump ahead.
