Versatile Organizational Tool with Smooth UI
What do you like best about the product?
I really like Notion's interface, especially the UI. It's done beautifully and covers all my needs. Notion is very smooth and the setup is just right. I'm a fan of the flexibility to create my own pages from scratch and add whatever I want, unlike more constrained tools like Word. The ability to choose from various views like gallery, list, or calendar is really great. I also like the new features Notion has added, especially the dashboard that helps me review and categorize expenses in real-time, which updates automatically, saving me hours of work. The Notion AI notes feature is another highlight for me. It takes good notes in meetings with clients and stakeholders, allowing me to rely on it heavily and forget about manual note-taking.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to have the ability to mark a deadline in the timeline view. It would be handy to add a tag saying, 'hey, this is the deadline,' so I know how far I am from completing tasks. The initial setup of Notion was difficult and stressful for me. It caused a lot of anxiety trying to understand the differences between a database in a line or a full-page table view, board view, gallery, and other features. It was overwhelming, and I had to spend a lot of time watching videos to understand how Notion works.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me organize my tasks and projects effectively with a clear calendar view. It's great for planning my week, month, or year. Notion AI is amazing for note-taking during meetings, letting me focus more and forget about writing manually.
AI-Powered Task Management, Worth the Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion as my task manager platform, where it helps keep all my tasks in one place linked to meetings, ensuring everything is connected. I appreciate the great task management view once configured. The AI summary feature is awesome for transcribing, which I use to transcribe meetings especially for role transitions. It allows me to take meeting notes and summarize important points into emails for stakeholders who weren't there. I also find Notion to be a very effective notebook for my needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The setup takes some work and time. It takes time to understand. It was an investment to make it work so well, but worth it. It took time to get my database right.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Notion AI Makes Research and Organization Effortless
What do you like best about the product?
There is a lot to love about Notion and the AI features included in my business profile. I use this for research management and integrate it with other tools to keep myself organized. Notion AI searches perform great, very little wait time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that the only thing I would say here is that the pricing is a little high for an individual user, particularly as a student who also works full -time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion has a simple and easy-to-use UI and the UX is phenomenal. For me it's helping solve keeping track of vast amounts of data and helping me organize that in a way that makes sense to me.
Organizational Powerhouse with Seamless AI Integration for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
I find Notion really helpful for organizing all my notes and managing tasks. The way the output from ChatGPT integrates with Notion is a huge plus for me, making it easier to create and save notes that I can reference later. I love the AI meeting feature, which I use to record lectures and take notes, helping me feel confident that I haven’t missed anything important. The ability to track all the different conditions and presentations I'm learning in med school is great, and using tables makes it easy to find important information. The setup was relatively easy; I used ChatGPT to create prompts that helped build the structure I needed in Notion. Overall, Notion's systematic organization and seamless integration with ChatGPT are very valuable to me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish that there was a way to import PDFs and write on them. I find that the PDF function, especially with my lecture slides, requires a lot of screenshotting to drag them into Notion. I wish there was an easier way to have entire PDFs as a separate file within Notion that I could also take notes on. Also, I miss the fact that when I tag something as done in the to-do list, it doesn't sort of immediately disappear or go down the list. The to-do lists are a little bit clunky. It also doesn't integrate with my Outlook email, so I'm not able to use the calendar features because it doesn't import all of my different calendars.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps manage my notes, tasks, and projects. The AI meeting feature lets me focus on lectures without missing notes. It integrates well with ChatGPT, helping organize and save lecture content easily for future reference. The tables feature makes tracking and finding medical school information manageable.

Like Having a Personal Assistant, But Intimidating Onboarding
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for recording and transcribing work meetings, and I find that it makes note-taking easier for me, especially with the AI involved. I like how it feels like I have a personal assistant and I enjoy creating 'virtual' notebooks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The onboarding experience is intimidating and in my opinion not very intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find note-taking is easier and referring to them with the AI makes it efficient.
Versatile Hub for Team Documentation and Management
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Notion can be many things. It can be a database, a page, and hold company culture information, making it integral to project management in Engineering. We use Notion as a one-stop shop for all things related to the company, and it's much more accessible than clicking around company folders. The layout is more inviting to engage with, making company information alive, dynamic, and engaging. After learning how the system is set up, it was relatively easy to get going in Notion.
What do you dislike about the product?
We're using Notion for a lot of cultural things, so the ability to add emojis, gifs, etc., should definitely be on the roadmap. The ability to add images or icons is a bit too convoluted compared to tools like Slack, where it's more native. I'd like to see this social piece grow with Notion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion as the command center of our organization, serving as the source of truth and a one-stop shop for all company information, making it accessible and engaging.
Versatile Tool with Some Navigation Hiccups
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for product management tracking across teams, and I appreciate how it handles task tracking and note-taking with ease. I like the feature of specific spaces with different privacy and sharing modes, which allows me to filter down by a specific view. Notion makes it convenient to track everything in one place, and the initial setup was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Switching spaces stops note taking should be a warning for that. I'd also like to see it a little easier to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for task tracking, note-taking, and collaboration. It allows me to track everything in one place and filter down by specific views.
