Powerful Single Source of Truth with Scaling Friction

  • February 18, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Centralization: Serves as a highly effective "single source of truth" by consolidating notes, databases, and project tracking in one interface.

Flexibility: The block-based system allows for deep customization of workflows that traditional tools can't match.

All-in-One Utility: Reduces "app fatigue" by replacing multiple disconnected tools (wikis, task managers, and docs).
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the paywall friction; the most impactful features are locked behind higher price tiers, which is restrictive for power users on budget plans. Additionally, there is a scalability gap: the 'full value' of the ecosystem feels gatekept, making it difficult to justify the cost when not all team members are heavy, active users
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves our need for a single source of truth by consolidating fragmented docs and tasks. However, as our workspace scales, we face a major problem with information decay and outdated pages. We lack the automated maintenance and content verification tools necessary to keep data accurate, which currently forces us toward higher, more expensive tiers just to manage basic workspace hygiene.

Efficient Wiki Tool but Needs Focus Beyond AI

  • February 18, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion as a Wiki for the company I work at because it's easy to share and document company changes. I like their databases and simplicity. The databases work well to share our company changes in one place and are more friendly compared to Excel or other tools. We've been using Notion since 2020 or 2021, and there's a lot of information there that's easy to search and understand. The initial setup was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm kind of disappointed that Notion is heavy on AI and in our plan we don't use that. It's too expensive and it feels like Notion is not evolving the tool in other parts, only in AI. I'd like them to look at other core features of Notion and not only AI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion as a company Wiki. It makes it easy to share and document changes. Notion's databases are simple and friendly compared to other tools, helping centralize company changes and making it easier to search and understand ongoing events.

Notion’s Workflow and Databases Fit All My Needs

  • February 18, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best part about using Notion is its workflow, and I really love the databases—especially the table database—because it fits all my needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be better if they made it a bit more mobile-friendly, because I hate having to switch to desktop just to enter minutes. Some features also don’t adapt well in the app—for example, the view mode feels very restricted, and editing a database has a bit of friction.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main thing this app helps me with is staying organized, especially when I’m feeling like a mess most of the time. With ADHD, I often end up in situations where things are everywhere, so having this app keeps me much more organized and on track.

Flexible, Easy-to-Use, but Performance Could Improve

  • February 17, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Notion because it's very easy to use and helps me keep all my notes, tasks, and documents in one place, which makes accessing them much quicker and easier. It is also quite flexible for personal planning. I also find it easier to scroll through all the documents and search for any specific information, which is very helpful for me and my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Yeah. So it can feel confusing at first and becomes slow if you have too many data or documents in that. So there, I feel that, the improvements can be made because it's a drawback in performance and usability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to keep all my SOPs, notes, tasks, and documents in one place, making it easy to access and manage. It's a very easy-to-use database that streamlines my tasks.

The thing I like best is the artificial intelligence feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how you only need to click once to edit something.
This makes it easy to accidentally edit a page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralized company wide documentation and note taking.

Custom Database Views Make Notion a Powerful Hub for R&D Projects

  • February 17, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Notion is the ability to design specific database views for the work I’m doing. My team has a database that includes a lot of content. When I’m setting up R&D projects, I often create a new “hub” for the project that may include a few brief explanations, but I primarily use filtered views into the team’s database to share information with the R&D team and remove unrelated pages. This way, the broader team can stay aware of what we’re building through the main database, while the R&D team can quickly navigate to only the relevant information.
What do you dislike about the product?
I currently dislike how when I copy a synced block (usually as part of a longer copying operation), that it sometimes does not become a synced block when pasted into another place. This may be an issue with user error, though, because I see that it sometimes works as expected. I am also slightly frustrated by how comments are sometimes displayed in Notion. I have some design documents that receive extensive comments and the location of comments in the right hand sign of the Web Browser UI sometimes pushes comments far away from the original marked up location if there are many comments "nearby".
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is solving the problems of: (1) Sharing technical research progress reports (often involving math formulas), (2) giving and receiving feedback on software design ideas, as well as (3) managing my own time every day at the office with a ranked To-Do list.

Notion: total flexibility to organize everything in one place

  • February 17, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Notion is the flexibility it has. It allows me to organize practically everything in one place: tasks, projects, notes, databases, and even financial planning or goal tracking. It doesn't feel limited to a single function, but I can adapt it exactly to the way I work.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I like least about Notion is that, although it is very powerful, it has a somewhat steep learning curve at the beginning. It can feel overwhelming to understand how to properly structure databases and take advantage of all the advanced features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thanks to databases, Kanban boards, and calendars, I can clearly visualize the progress of my tasks and priorities. This reduces stress and allows me to make more organized decisions.

Intuitive Interface, Exceptional Flexibility

  • February 17, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love Notion for its pleasant-to-use interface. It's enjoyable to write things on it, even on topics that might cause friction depending on the data format. Also, Notion handles exporting and importing with other tools well, making the experience comfortable. I also appreciate the ability to segment spaces by team with the right level of permission, which facilitates team collaboration. This structuring allows me to manage my personal notes while sharing relevant information with the team. Moreover, the ability to capture information, structure it, and share it easily is a major asset. It makes note-taking and sharing very efficient, which saves time.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's often not necessarily easy to integrate this with other tools, to have workflows that really work with other tools. For example, I think of our note-taker being able to properly consume information, it's not always that easy. And maybe that's not, it's more the Notion AI part that actually there's perhaps more of a discoverability issue today, it's something we use little even though there's a good source of richness in Notion that we don't exploit at all via Notion AI because it's too hidden, it's not necessarily easy to imagine the use cases to discover this and the
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to capture, structure, and share information, with team permissions and a personal space. Notion allows you to quickly take readable notes and share them easily, which is a considerable time saver.

Complex Setup, Powerful Features

  • February 17, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Notion is connected to my cloud through Anthropic and links with my ChatGPT, allowing these tools to either access information from Notion or write directly to it. This integration with AI tools is super helpful. It's like a better version of OneNote for me, with its database functions that store and organize things into pages in a superior way. The AI inside Notion is great for organizing a page although it requires a bit of a script to avoid issues like creating duplicates or deleting important items. Despite the learning curve, these AI features and connections to other AI tools are really valuable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm frustrated because the transcribe feature for meetings doesn't work on my Android phone, and I've missed two meetings by trying to record on my phone instead of my computer. It shows that it's recording but then transcribes and records nothing, which is utterly frustrating, especially during client meetings. The setup of Notion was quite difficult and not intuitive unless you're technical. It's not easy to set up for someone not technical, and I think that's the biggest barrier. It feels like giving someone a blank document to code on, and if you don't have the technical expertise, you just have no idea what to do with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion gives me a structured place to store my decisions, frameworks, skills, and content ideas, aiding in creating content like articles. I use it for note-taking in client meetings, sharing seminar information, and operating a separate business.

Structured and Essential for Workflow Management

  • February 17, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I love about Notion is that everything is arranged as you decide. You can organize it based on positions or roles, and then whenever you go into your role or position, you're gonna find all of the detailed information. It's really well structured.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it'd be a bit more intuitive. Sometimes, it can be kind of hard to find something. So you have to really look or search for the keywords. But I think that other than that, it works pretty well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to store all my job-related processes, one-pagers, and handbooks. It's my go-to for finding instructions and information when my manager isn't available. It serves as an intranet where everything I need is well organized and easily accessible.
