One of the best tools for organizing personal life and project work.
What do you like best about the product?
The modular nature of the blocks. The database structure of tables and the file system structure. Ability to share to the web as a neat page. Ability to collaborate with others.
What do you dislike about the product?
The calendar tool is suboptimal and integrations with for example google calendar are still weak. Notion is nice for basic numerical tables but for anything more serious the functions and calculations cannot substitute excel, which sometimes would be nice at least to some degree.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Havving everything in one place. Personal database of things, university notes and project pages to collaborate or plan trips.
Singular best notetaking/workspace app in the world (11/10).
What do you like best about the product?
The upsides of using Notion are limitless. Notes, pages, databases, linked pages, linked databases, tables, AI... Smart views. You can do everything in notion. I organize my work, and my entire life in there. I've tried everything else, and in terms of overall funcionality and ease of use, nothing compares. And it just keeps gettign better with each update... I could go on and on about the benefits, with this unfiltered and honest oppinion.
What do you dislike about the product?
At start I though it was complicated to use and learn. Sure it took me months to get fluent, but then it's just like a language. The better you can speak it, the more limitless options you have for your work and the organization of your life. As an advanced user, the only thing I wish for is continuous improvment in even faster loading speeds from the back end, that's it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion makes it simple to make notes, and organize them in infinite yet simple ways that work for you. You can also share any of your notes or pages in the form of a web link, just as you would with your files on Google Drive.
Great tool for personal and team productivity
What do you like best about the product?
best parts I find about Notion is that it is extremely flexible so that you can manage your data in many different ways depending on your needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
there still seem to be few features missing here and there, but overall it is already good enough. typing on mobile is some times lagging though, which hopefuly gets improved soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
the best part is that it is so flexible that we tend to use it for all of our internal processes which keeps all data centralized and easy to find and manage.
A customizable workspace you can build to suit your specific needs
What do you like best about the product?
Powerful databases and the ability to customize pages allow me to create dashboards to suit my needs and organize information in a variety of ways. And if something doesn't work? I change it. My Notion workspace grows with me.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest drawback is the lack of an offline mode. I have to keep up-to-date with my backups because if there is a problem with my connection, I don't have access to any of my databases or organization systems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
What doesn't it solve? I can make databases for anything and everything. Organizing new projects, planning and creating content for social media, connected databases for tracking income and expenses, just to name a few.
Lifechanging for People With ADHD
What do you like best about the product?
Notion made it seamless for my organization to organize its creative ideas when we had no viable system. Working in social and video production can get really crazy so having an intuitive way to organize made our workflows so much smoother.
What do you dislike about the product?
The templates aren't the most intuitive for new people who don't think like an ADHDer or someone who prefers more straightforward organizational styles. But still easy to pick up!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creative Workflow organization and notes management. It's been great for contractors and frazzled bosses alike.
Frees up your mind so you can achieve even more
What do you like best about the product?
Very flexible for saving and organizing different types of notes like images, text, numbers, and time to help managing projects
What do you dislike about the product?
Takes some time to learn how to use effectively. I had to watch trainings and study examples online to learn how to use well
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing complicated decisions, like deciding on wedding venue for getting married or starting a new podcast
Notion helped me to organize and priorities my agendas
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is my second brain. It helped me to organize a lot of essential agendas coming up, as well as a lot of space for me to jot down everything that I am thinking of.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside is that notion is a bit complicated to set up; I have to watch many tutorials to understand each feature's functionality. Some of the features require some coding. If block coding could be implemented, that would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have problems organizing my items; I usually store notes and folders in different places. Notion allows me to keep my things on one page, and I could create a sub-page for further notes. Also, it will enable me to prioritize and set reminders about what I have to do in a day so I won't forget them. The main point that attracted me was the price. The notion is free for personal use; even if you did not pay for the premium tiers, the free plan's features are sufficient.
Best all in one software for project management & wiki
What do you like best about the product?
Very versatile & customizable when it comes to databases & workflows, less on fonts/sizes, why helps to focus on what matters most
Databases are really useful, especially when linking them through rollups
I have started to play with their AI which is very powerful!

What do you dislike about the product?
The thing that I miss most is the ability to create graphs from data already used in Notion (eg. databases)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a single source of truth when taking notes and managing projects
Having the ability to zoom from objectives to tasks when managing my projects

Notion is the second brain I've always needed
What do you like best about the product?
We're a tiny, lean team running a complex national training program. A regular work day involves event planning, grants management, project management, donor relations, teaching, evaluation, and finance administration. It's a lot, and Notion is a big part of why it's possible. We keep EVERYTHING in Notion, and between linked views, synced blocks, relations, and rollups, it's the perfect solution to let us see and manage all parts of the program in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
The best thing about Notion is also the worst--it can do basically anything you want it to, which means that it can be super overwhelming for new team members. It also means that Notion prioritizes flexibility over ease--so functions in other systems that are easy (e.g. one-click) but limited are complicated (e.g. crafting the perfect formulae) but highly customizable. It's a worthwhile tradeoff, although some simplified functions for common Notion uses would be a great compromise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps us with program management (with projects including event management, curriculum development, grants management system implementation, etc.), client and donor relations management, internal and external knowledge sharing, and much more.
Through integrations with Tally.so, various widgets, and other customizations, we're also using Notion as a temporary grants management system as we get the program up and running--everything from application acceptance to review to budgeting.

Notion
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to add and structure your data
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue with notion is the database table's unique key can not be changed to some thing else and sometime's needs to be hidden
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am trying to organize my work and tasks both personal and professional and structure my work.
