Flexible, Connected Sandbox That Adapts to Our Needs
What do you like best about the product?
I the ability to change things and adapt it to what I need. It feels like it is a large sandbox that is connected which makes things nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
The hardest part is getting used to the UI and bringing all the data over. It would be nice to have a way to import the Google Sheet that I use for organization into it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem Notion is solving is having easy access and sharing of documents and knowledge. It's kind of a fix for the Google Drive that you can't find anything in.
One-Stop Productivity Powerhouse Boosting Efficiency
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Notion helps streamline my work processes and find shortcuts, making daily tasks more efficient. It’s been great for personal use too, like creating lists and travel itineraries. The AI features are fantastic for editing my resume and detailing my tasks at work better than I could on my own. Notion is very accessible and easy to learn, with a learning curve that's not difficult at all. It combines features from other productivity apps, eliminating the need to switch between programs, which I really enjoy. Notion is like a one-stop-shop for many tasks, making it quite valuable and enjoyable to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
With Notion, the only issues I think I've run across is that using the AI feature to jazz up a document by adding emojis or different coloring patterns, a lot of times, it doesn't grab everything that I needed to do. So probably something I would want to have improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to streamline my work processes and daily tasks, making everything more efficient. It's invaluable for updating my resume since it organizes and enhances job details. Not having to switch between different programs for tasks makes it a one-stop shop for me.
Highly Customizable, Team Management Solution
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate Notion's high level of customization and the variety of features and automations that make it easy to handle a wide range of tasks. The task management capabilities are great, and I love having centralized documentation. There's a lot of flexibility with how sections can be organized and what they can include. I also find it helpful to link previews and customize fields for each task, allowing me to adapt the setup depending on whether it's a creative task or something like an audience update. Being able to have everything in one platform, and with more ability to customize, emphasizes Notion's value over other platforms I've used.
What do you dislike about the product?
The level of customization leaves a lot of deep menus within menus and it's really hard to find certain things. There's so many hidden features and contextual places you'd need to click or highlight in order to pull up certain actions. Having a larger toolbar would be amazing to help organize actions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for task organization, team management, and process automation. It solves problems around organization, visibility, and workflow. It offers great task management, centralized docs, and customizable fields, allowing for a versatile and streamlined platform.
Intuitive Organization, Slight Export Limitations
What do you like best about the product?
What I like the most about Notion is that you can keep all your documents very organized, and you can customize with different colors and items. So it is really fun to have your own personalized documents. I like organizing my documents, and just by typing command F, I'm able to find the documents according to the word I searched for. This is very helpful because whenever I'm rushing, I need my search to be time-effective, and Notion does a great job working kind of like a database. The customization of the boards is really fun because when I share it with colleagues, they're able to notice that it's different because I have customized it to my style. I also like to synchronize it with my Slack account so my leaders have access to my Notion boards. It was very easy to get started with Notion, as the intuitive setup made it clear where to go, how to create boards, and the help page was very helpful for understanding where to start.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think what could be improved is how the view works. Because whenever you have a large document, it becomes a bit difficult to navigate through the entire board. For example, right now, I have a huge tracker, and I have to minimize the view of the entire page to track things. So that could become a problem if you're presenting your screen. I will consider a problem is that you can't really export any of the boards you create. For example, you cannot transform it into a deck.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me organize all my documents effectively and works like a database. It allows fun customization, making documents personalized and recognizable to colleagues.
Efficient, Customizable, With a Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for organizing thoughts, planning future projects, and transcribing meetings. I like most that it searches my database and learns from the things I've put into it, constantly referencing ideas and thoughts that I haven't shared, rather than things from the Internet. It allows me to save a lot of time by referencing back thoughts I've already had, avoiding redoing work, and displays a summary which creates a plan of action, which is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe, like anything, there's a learning curve that you have to get through. Not knowing how to make it do the things that I can do in other systems as easily. I don't know if there could be improvements because the interface is different. Unless your interface looked like others. If the email function looked more like Spark Mail or Gmail, or if it looked like Google Docs. If the buttons were in the same place, if they were called the same thing, that's the only thing that can make it more user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for organizing thoughts, planning projects, and transcribing meetings. It quickly aggregates data, points me in the right direction, helps me think through ideas, keeps my calendar straight, and acts as a central data hub.
Endless Options and Integrations That Deliver
What do you like best about the product?
The endless amount of options you have to do on it and the amount of integrations it has to offer.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's very technical and not easy for people that are not tech savvy.

It helps with organization of our company knowledge base and SOPs.
AI Meeting Notes That Keep Me on Track
What do you like best about the product?
AI meeting notes feature allowing me to get back on track during meetings when I get lost or daydream.
What do you dislike about the product?
When using the ai chat it is not as intutive as other ai apps like chatgpt.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Losing track of meetings. Notion is solving this with its ai meetings feature allowing me to get back on track when I don't understand something.
Versatile Hub with Great Automation
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion to tidy my brain and navigate my priorities in a clear, visual way, which I find really helpful for managing personal and professional projects. I appreciate the automation and chat features, as they're as good as Open AI and Anthropic models. Notion has become my go-to hub for everything, and I like how it makes automation and repetitive tasks easy with templates. Its interface is nice to look at and works well across other platforms. I also find AI meeting notes to be a breeze and super accurate.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that the auto schedule feature is lacking compared to what Motion offers, which would be valuable. Also, the file storage isn't linked well with Dropbox or OneDrive, causing duplicates. Installing templates is a nightmare, and it takes time to understand 'pages and databases'. Setting things up can become very time-consuming if you dive deep.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to organize my projects and priorities visually. It helps automate repetitive tasks and integrates templates easily, saving time. It's my hub for everything with effective automation and chat features.
Notion Makes Onboarding and Knowledge Sharing Effortless
What do you like best about the product?
Notion makes it super simple to integrate into a new company and learn everything you need to about a role. Its very helpful for assigning tasks, taking notes, and keeping a knowledge base of a company/project.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI notetaking feature is useful but buggy. Occasionally it will turn off in the middle of a meeting. I also don't receive any notifications while using the feature, but this could be a bug on my mac.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its really helping me adjust to my new role and learn everything I need to know quickly.
Streamlines Meeting Management Wonderfully
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Notion chronologically documents every single meeting and allows me to summarize right away. I find the transcript feature very useful, and it's easy to reference. Having all those meetings and notes summarized neatly is really helpful. The initial setup was way too easy, just like getting an app from a store, and it's a really simple application to use on my Mac OS.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like Notion can actually integrate a more advanced LAM model. So you'd be generating faster and more accurate information. Also, I want it to be like unlimited tokens or have longer memories so I can reference all the stuff I'm working on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to keep track of day-to-day meetings, helping me know exactly what to do as a product manager. I like how it documents meetings chronologically and is easy to reference.
