What can't Notion do?

  • September 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Notion feels limitless when it comes to organizing information. I love that I can use it as a notes app, task manager, database, and knowledge hub all in one. Its flexibility lets me build customized systems without needing multiple tools, and the collaborative features make it easy to share pages or workspaces with others. The templates and integrations save time, but what stands out most is how adaptable it is—whether for personal projects or complex team workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
While it can do almost everything, the flexibility can also be overwhelming at first. There’s a learning curve in figuring out the best way to structure pages and databases, and it’s easy to overcomplicate things. Sometimes performance lags a bit when handling very large databases or lots of embedded content. Also, offline functionality still isn’t as strong as I’d like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion has become my centralized source of knowledge. Instead of juggling multiple apps for notes, tasks, and documentation, I can manage everything in one place. It helps me keep track of projects, organize resources, and create systems that are easy to search and update. Having all information in one hub reduces context switching and saves time, while also making collaboration smoother since teammates can access the same pages and databases. It’s essentially my second brain—structured and accessible whenever I need it.

What do you like best about the product?
The AI transcribe & summary when I use microsoft teams for customer calls. Sometimes I forget the name, or bits of information, and if I want to delegate a call to someone else in the team, Notion AI saves me time in summarising the call to clearly explain what is going on.
What do you dislike about the product?
I want the ability to do that do on calls on my work phone. Not sure if it can do that yet. If so, I can't find it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
helping me with writing down notes in calls - it does it for me when im on the phone with the customer & is pretty accurate.

What do you like best about the product?
The customization allows complex workflows to be optimized and personalized. The database system, the filtered views, and the automations all flow so well into a holistic productivity system.
What do you dislike about the product?
I understand it is a business, but some of the more impactful features are paid, which can restrict access. Might not be the easiest to use, but people can learn, so its not a big issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Knowledge base system, organizing knowledge and tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Notion because it’s clean, customizable, and powerful without being overwhelming. It helps me stay organized and actually enjoy the process. This is our Knowledge center and it helps manage our internal resources!
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that some features I rely on, like offline access or reminders, aren’t as strong as I’d like. It makes it harder to use on the go.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion keeps all of our company information in one place. My sale is complex so I frequently need to reference internal sources. Notion has made this easy.

Notion – More Than a Note-Taking App for Doctors in Training

  • September 15, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As a postgraduate medical student, I was juggling thesis work, daily presentations, and endless clinical notes. I shifted to Notion because it brings everything into one organized space—notes, tasks, references, and even shared study plans with peers.

Unlike basic note apps, Notion’s flexibility lets me create structured databases for my research, quick checklists for ward work, and clean pages for lecture notes. It feels less like just a note-taking app and more like a personal workspace that adapts to my needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion is incredibly flexible, but it can feel overwhelming at first—the setup takes time, and it doesn’t work smoothly offline, which can be frustrating during hospital hours with poor connectivity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me keep my thesis work, lecture notes, and daily tasks organized in one place, reducing the chaos of juggling multiple apps and making studying and clinical work more efficient.

Notion has made my Book Series building and writing so much better

  • September 13, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to use and how customizable it is. It's a huge step up from what I was using before, being various free Google stuff.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't think of any dislikes, just wish there was an easy way to have Notion auto-link things. My Book Series building and writing, for instance, would benefit greatly if Notion would auto-link my characters' names to their respective character sheets and what not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving so many things, from my Book Series' Timeline, Character Sheets, Family Trees, Power Orginization, Group Organization, and more! It solved so many things that I simply couldn't do all in one place anywhere else I looked.
