What do you like best about the product?
As an Events Manager, I love that Notion gives me a centralized, customizable space to manage every detail of an event. From the high level strategy to granular logistics, I can build dynamic checklists, track budgets, assign tasks, and house all relevant docs in one place. The ability to link pages, embed calendars, and create filtered task lists helps me stay organized and reduces the need for multiple tools or endless Slack messages. It’s become the backbone of my workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
When pages get large or database views become complex, Notion can sometimes lag or feel slow. There’s also a bit of a learning curve for my team who doesn't use it the way that I do today, i.e. creating tasks, answer questions within the tasks, and more. members unfamiliar with its structure, especially around databases and page linking. That said, these are minor trade-offs for a tool that has significantly streamlined my day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion eliminates the need for multiple tools by centralizing all aspects of my events – timelines, budgets, vendor details, and post-event reports in one workspace. It’s improved my own alignment with executives, reduced back-and-forth, and made collaboration more seamless. Templates for briefs, run-of-shows, and debriefs save time and ensure consistency across events, making planning faster and more efficient.
Useful software, replace Google suite!

Flexibility, enables creativity, and usability.

Maybe too open ended for company documentation, takes skill and experience to use to fullest extent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion was particularly useful when onboarding to a new company. I could just ask the AI assistant any questions I had and it would summarize from the entire company's knowledge base.
Great tool for knowledge search and consolidation.

Notion AI is one of the best in terms of indexing a variety of document types.
What do you dislike about the product?
grep-style search is not the best to find pages.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the interface and how easy it is to add notes to pages. I also like all the keyboard shortcuts which makes it easy to select different tools available for taking notes. The interface is very clean and there is no need to go back and forth between different folders on the browser like with Google Docs. I'm yet to try the AI tools like the AI Writing Assistant
What do you dislike about the product?
Initial setup didn't feel easy. Its been a month or so since I started using it and I still do not know if the templates I'm using are right for the job.

Great tool, UI takes some getting used to
What do you like best about the product?
Notion AI is really helpful, allowing you to find the information you need with a quick ChatGPT like search experience. It is a fantastic data repository of information.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is just not super intuitive.Even when your search results come up, the ability to launch into documents is not simple.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me being in Sales, this is a way to gather information in a quick summary of our prospects before we decide on sales tactics to use for our meetings. We also use NotionAI to develop sample email cadences based on information that NotionAI collects for us in a matter of seconds vs. hours of manual searches.

We use notion for documenting projects. It is very helpful in formatting a project so it can live all in one place and I love how easy it is to collaborate with my team.

I like it for documenting and collaborating but I wouldn't use it for project management

AI Writing Assistant helps boost productivity, their Knowledge Management tools centralize information, and the powerful Enterprise Search saves me countless hours looking for what I need.

Wish the 'undo' feature was just a one-click feature
