Flexible, Integrative Platform with a Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I really like Notion's flexibility. It's so open, allowing me to put things anywhere, which makes it pretty flexible for all sorts of tasks. I found it really cool that you can get different templates from their little marketplace. Recently, I downloaded a financial template, even though I didn't think I'd use Notion for finances at first. There's so much you can do with it; it's really unlimited.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's a little bit confusing where to click and how to, which ends up making things like even on my prompt library I use sometimes end up being an equation thing instead. The ultimate flexibility of it is a challenge for me. Also, the initial setup of Notion was hard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion as a centralized hub to connect my different AI services and store my prompt library.
Versatile and Friendly for Personal Management
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Notion offers many possible installable improvements and that practically everything can be done. I also appreciate the ease and user-friendliness it has.
What do you dislike about the product?
Perhaps sometimes there can be too much information, making it difficult to choose, for example, the best solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for time and project management, improving my previous management and the tracking of my personal projects.
User-Friendly and Visually Appealing
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for creating recruiting processes, and I like that it serves as a hub for all recruiting forms, policies, and documents, making them easily accessible within our company. I appreciate that Notion is user-friendly, easy to navigate, and allows sharing in different communication forms. Its visual appeal is another aspect I enjoy. Additionally, when creating recruiting form job descriptions, the pages in Notion help in storing interviewer questions easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think organizing or moving certain databases isn't easy. When copying a database chart, it doesn't translate well to other documents.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion serves as a hub for all recruiting forms, policies, and documents, making them easily accessible. It helps store interviewer questions and job descriptions efficiently, and it's user-friendly, visually appealing, and easy to navigate and share information.
Visually Pleasing but Steep Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Notion is aesthetically pleasing, which helps reduce stress when reading or creating documents. Creating documents is low friction, allowing me to spend more time thinking about ideas rather than structuring them on a platform. It also helps me structure my ideas in an organized fashion, and other teams are able to read through them quickly and ask about follow-ups.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve is steep. It took a while to learn how to use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me structure my ideas in an organized way, making it easy for other teams to understand and ask follow-up questions. It's aesthetically pleasing, reducing stress, and allows me to create documents with ease, letting me focus more on thinking about ideas.
Centralizes SOPs with Ease and Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I like Notion for its ease of use, which makes onboarding new team members simpler because there are fewer questions. I also value how many things can be integrated into it, as the integrations help different departments address their individual needs. The fun setup process, where there was a lot to learn, was enjoyable. Notion provides a central place to document our procedures, especially organizing our SOPs, and makes accessing everything easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe more discoverability on the different integrations that can be done
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to document procedures with ease, centralizing our SOPs, which simplifies access. The ease of use helps with onboarding, reducing questions, and the integrations cater to departmental needs.
Ultimate Flexibility and Power to Build Exactly What You Need
What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Notion is that it doesn't prescribe a way to manage what you're trying to manage. It provides you with the tools to build exactly what YOU need. Other softwares fall short because they try to put what you're doing into a box, or tell you how to do it. Notion gives you the ultimate flexibility and power to build what you're imagining. The company is also constantly iterating, which makes users feel hopeful that missing features aren't missing forever, and are probably coming soon.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion's integrations with other tools aren't awesome. It would be a much more powerful tool if it had better integrations with Microsoft applications like Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc. So many businesses are tied to these tools (whether they like it or not), and don't have the option to use things like Google Suite. There are also certain "glitchy" things about Notion that remain unfixed and hinder adoption. Notion could also benefit from better customer support for advanced users. Advanced users already understand what's possible with Notion, but often are looking for support from a Notion expert to achieve their goals. The availability of something like this is quite limited, which only limits what the user is able to build with the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion has been an amazing tool for centralizing information and collaborating between teams. We have also used it to build out prototypes of products that don't currently exist in our market. It allows us to spec out exactly what we're looking for and experiment with it in a sandbox-esque environment that's actually real. On several occasions, we have built something that is better than what's currently on the market, and used what we built in Notion instead.
Intuitive for Organization, Needs Documentation Boost
What do you like best about the product?
I like Notion's clean UI, which makes it easy to navigate and manage tasks. The editing tools are also good, providing flexibility in how I handle documents. It's fast, which helps me complete tasks efficiently, and the search feature is particularly valuable for organizing project documents, even when they're ad hoc. I've found the initial setup very easy, which made getting started a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
documentation could be improved; demos of complex use cases like a powerful database, cross references, and automations could be more detailed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for organizing work documents and project management. Its clean UI, good editing tools, speed, and search features help organize project documents even when they're ad hoc.
Powerful Databases With a Catch
What do you like best about the product?
What stands out most to me about Notion is its balance between simplicity and power. The interface is clean and intuitive, so getting started is easy even without prior experience. At the same time, it allows you to build quite complex systems once you dive deeper.
The database feature is especially valuable in my daily use. I rely on it to manage projects, and organize information across different areas. Being able to link databases, filter views, and customize layouts helps me create a system that feels tailored to how I think and work. It genuinely feels like I’m organizing my thoughts in a structured, visual way.
I also appreciate the continuous improvements and updates. Notion has been consistently adding features that improve usability and performance, which shows they actively listen to users.

What do you dislike about the product?
While databases are powerful, they can sometimes feel limiting when you need more advanced functionality or automation. Certain workflows require workarounds, especially compared to more specialized project management tools.
That said, many of these issues are gradually improving with updates, so it’s not a dealbreaker.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me organize both my professional and personal workflows. I use it to manage projects, document ideas, and maintain structured records like software releases and travel history.
Instead of switching between multiple tools, I can keep everything in one place. It essentially acts as a second brain, allowing me to structure and retrieve information.

AI-Driven Insights with Room for Navigation Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion to get Product Marketing information and find the AI portion really helpful. Sometimes when I'm looking to answer a specific question, instead of searching all over, Notion brings all relevant information to the forefront for me. It's very easy to collaborate with my team in Notion, and I rely on it to get to the valuable information I need for writing campaign briefs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes things can be hard to find, even with the search function. If I type specific boards for certain industries into the search bar, the relevant boards don't always appear. Notion AI seems to work better for this, but regular navigation could be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion centralizes Product Marketing information, making it accessible for my campaigns. The AI feature surfaces relevant details quickly, aiding in writing campaign briefs with precise audience insights, and it's easy to collaborate with my team.
