Big help writing tech docs
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate being able to keep all my notes organized in one place and accessible from any device. When it comes to writing documentation—which is usually not my favorite task—Notion's AI Writing Assistant helps transform my rough drafts into something much better.
What do you dislike about the product?
The navigation feels a little clunky, particularly when I'm trying to create new pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use this for storing technical documents as well as for creating documents intended for customers.
Tentative at First ... but, then Sooooo Glad I Gave Notion AI a chance
What do you like best about the product?
I love the feeling of flow it has in creating pages and interconnecting concepts and areas of interest. I also think the meeting transcription and summary is excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not so keen on the table and dbase options, but that is likely on me and my understanding of what I really want such to do. I am not sure at all if it is an aspect of Notion that I care about. At the same, there was an initial feeling that building tables and dbases to track my life was what Notion AI was all about. That is still a bit confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The best meeting capture capacity for my purposes that I have found. I am mostly listening to trainings and online talks and other educational videos. I use Notion meet to transcribe it so I can just listen and take key notes. I am then able to integrate it into my growing knowledge base.
Couldn't love Notion more if I tried!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the user experience - it's so intuitive and has upped my organisation game x 1000. Using it as our central team working space team also enhances collaboration and ensures everyone is aligned on projects, timelines and content.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there could be some improvements made to make it a better platform for creative and marketing roles.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion removes any barriers to collaboration and streamlines projects with the ability to link across multiple documents, so there is always one single source of truth that the team can refer to. It's range of features allows us to use it in many different ways, from AI meeting note taking, databased, project plan management and more.
Great but still needs work
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to get AI assistance when I'm in the middle of writing and editing. It helps suggest ways of improving my writing.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I ask for a rewrite, often I get something that completely misses the mark. It puts in things that were not in the original. And it changes my writing to make it more flowering and sounding more like AI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Suggesting ways of improving my writing. It's handy to just be able to ask it what can be improved. Also, it provides information really quickly when I need it. That saves time as I don't need to Google and then try and find the best sources of information.
Notion for productivity
What do you like best about the product?
I like how broad it is. There is so much you can do with Notion and the possibilities are endless. I love how easy it is to use. Even if there is something that I didn't fully understand, the Notion help center was extremely helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
There wasn't a whole lot that I didn't like about notion. If I were to pick something I didn't like it would be the aesthetics of it. The look wasn't the best.

It has been great for my productivity.

I appreciate how versatile and easy to use this tool is for organizing my teams. I also really enjoy the AI feature. I use Notion on a regular bases!

AI Writing Assistant and Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Excel for database management in the past. However, since using Notion, it definitely feels like a major upgrade.
The AI capabilities also shorten the time to do work. However, as there are so many features in the software, it does take time to learn how to use them.

What do you dislike about the product?
The cost of the subscriptions is confusing. It would also be useful if they display the cost of the subscription based on the country (e.g. if in Australia then show prices in AUD rather than USD)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provides me a database software where I can store all work related documents securely and able to acess them on demand.
Customizable Project Management software
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is extremely flexible, allowing you to easily create your own project management dashboard. In addition, it works very well for creating informational content, which you can then share with your team members. I find it incredibly convenient to use. Also it is easy of use for managing tasks and creating deadlines.
What do you dislike about the product?
Everything feels a bit scattered, and it can get quite confusing if you add a lot of input to the dashboard you've set up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion enables us to create informational guides for our company, supporting knowledge sharing as well as project management needs. Team collaboration is great with features like real-time editing, comments and @mentions. We can easily assign tasks, leave notes, and track progress.
Wonderful tool or personal and work use!
What do you like best about the product?
This year I have converted from using apple notes to notion for my note taking needs. I first started with the personal use level testing out some of the AI capabilities. I have influenced my direct team to use the application. The most useful tool of notion thus far for me has been their AI meeting notes assistance. This has allowed me to fully focus during meetings vs trying to take my own notes.

More options for fonts and font colors. Better search features within various notes. easier templates to use for different notes and combining them

AI note taker has been amazing. Have been able to focus on the conversations happening in meetings not worried that I will miss details because of the transcripts that are available .

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate Notion's flexibility and the ability to organize and link everything in one place, which makes managing my projects seamlessly efficient. The Ultimate Brain template is particularly helpful for setting up my projects with ease, making the process feel effortless. I love how all my notes and tasks are in one spot, streamlining my workflow and keeping me organized. Notion gives me a clear overview of my projects' progress, which I find invaluable. Additionally, the platform's free-form customization allows me to tailor it to my specific needs, improving my workflow significantly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the calendar feature could be improved. I would love to put more information on the calendar and improve the way it flows. Additionally, although I like the notes and task features because they offer a lot of options, I see areas within the calendar that could be enhanced. It seems like an aspect that could use some attention for a better experience.

I use Notion to organize my event projects, manage tasks, and centralize information, which streamlines my workflow and keeps everything in one place, reducing lost data and improving task management.
