Organizational Powerhouse with a Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I find Notion AI incredibly useful for creating pages, tasks, and templates quickly, which helps me stay on top of my tasks. I like having separate pages to organize work efficiently and maintain team communication by keeping everyone on the same page without separation. I appreciate how well Notion AI integrates, allowing creativity and personal detail in my workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I initially found Notion a bit confusing to set up, particularly in terms of creating things and making effective use of its AI capabilities. It required a level of creativity that I felt I lacked at the time. Moreover, the templates provided seemed quite rigid, often wanting you to follow them exactly as they are. I would appreciate more flexibility, such as having the ability to create templates via Notion AI and adding more depth and nested structure within a single page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to organize projects, facilitate team communication, and manage tasks efficiently with AI support.
Its integration with my documents is INCREDIBLE
What do you like best about the product?
I take lecture notes in a notion database. when i need a study guide? “hey take these lecture notes and boil them into a study guide”
What do you dislike about the product?
i wish it had a little more access to notion calendar and notion mail. one ai that had staunch integration between the three would be incredible. just imagine. “summarize this page into an email and send it to Georgie with a meeting invite, then add the meeting to my calendar”
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This allows an ai to break out of the typical “chat” window. when i’m talking to another AI i have to reinform it generally of who i am and what i want per task. when it has access to my notion, it knows what needles to find in the haystack, what documents i made are relevant to my question. It just knows who i am because it has access to my work.

Excellent System for Productivity
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is a fantastic tool to organise not only your life but also business. We use Notion across our company as a file directory, client CRM and task manager. Due to offline mode and compatibility across platforms, we use it in the office or out on the road.
Now with AI, we also use Notion to take notes, track meetings and gather knowledge to ensure that everyone stays informed.

Notion AI is a little limited at the moment and takes quite a long time to think through instructions that involve multiple pages. For straight fact finding however, it is fast and thorough.

What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I haven't encountered many drawbacks, except that Notion Mail and Notion Calendar don't support non-Gmail email addresses. Other than that, my experience has been positive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I really appreciate being able to personalize and customize my AI writing assistant. I also enjoy the fact that I can integrate it with my databases and have it operate directly from there.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you are not very computer savvy, it can be difficult when you start. Because of this, it has been challenging to encourage colleagues and team members to adopt it over their current systems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion has significantly enhanced how I take meeting notes, manage projects, and create reports and documents. The more I use it, the more I discover ways to personalize my workflow and develop documents and reports that truly reflect my own style. I find that I can leverage the AI to generate documents that feel authentic to my writing, incorporating insights and information I’ve gathered from previous documents and research.
Flexible and fun to use for daily planning
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most is the flexibility. I can make a simple checklist, a detailed journal, or even a mini database for movies I want to watch. It’s all in one app, which saves me from switching between 5 different apps, and that makes my life a lot simpler.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can take a bit of time to get used to all the features, and pages can be slow if they get really big. But once you’re used to it, it’s really flexible and useful.

Before Notion, I used a bunch of different apps for notes, to-do lists, and goals, which got messy fast. Notion solves that by giving me one space for everything. Now I feel more in control of my daily routine, can track progress on personal goals, and have a clear view of what’s important each day.

An incredibly powerful app I'm determined to master and integrate into my daily workflow
What do you like best about the product?
The sheer versatility of its functionalities is remarkable. For instance, I can set up a simple static table when I just need to organize information visually, or create a fully-fledged database with relations and rollups when I need to manipulate and cross-reference data afterward.
I particularly appreciate how the same content can be viewed in multiple formats—table, board, calendar, or gallery—depending on what I'm working on.
The flexibility extends to almost everything: I can embed files, link pages together, create templates for recurring workflows, and even build custom dashboards.
As a content writer managing multiple client projects, the ability to house everything from content calendars to research notes to invoicing trackers in one place is incredibly appealing. The collaborative features also make it easy to share specific pages with clients without exposing my entire workspace.

What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve is genuinely steep, and I find myself having to rack my brains every time I sit down to use it effectively. I've set up my workspace from scratch multiple times, experimenting with different structures, but when it's time to actually use it in the moment, especially during busy workdays, I still get lost navigating between pages or remembering which database properties I'd configured.
The paradox is that Notion's flexibility, which is its greatest strength, also makes it overwhelming.
There are so many ways to accomplish the same task that I often second-guess whether I'm using it "correctly." I genuinely envy the power users who've managed to set up their entire lives in it, their task management, content pipelines, personal wikis, and more, all running seamlessly. I'm still working toward that level of mastery.

I initially moved to Notion as an alternative to Evernote, which had become too limiting for my evolving needs as a freelance content writer. Evernote was great for simple note-taking, but I needed something that could handle multiple aspects of my work in one place.
Notion is solving several key problems for me:
Fragmented workflow: Notion allows me to consolidate sheets/docs/research into a unified app
Content organization: Organizing content into hierarchies makes my life simple (Hopefully I'll be able to make it easy too! :D)

Powerful and Highly Flexible but can be Challenging to Master
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate Notion's clean and customizable interface, which allows me to tailor the platform according to my needs. The collaboration features significantly enhance project management, helping my team stay organized with timelines and deadlines. Notion’s flexibility in feature usage enables customization for personal and professional tasks efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the learning curve in Notion quite steep, which can be challenging when starting to use its diverse features to their full potential. Additionally, I think Notion could be more user-friendly for newcomers, as many people often find it hard to navigate the platform initially. While I appreciate the features, the initial complexity can be overwhelming and may deter new users. Furthermore, while I ultimately appreciate the available integrations, their intricacy adds to a challenging onboarding experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to manage projects and daily tasks, creating timelines and deadlines. It optimizes team workflow and collaboration, improving project management flexibility.
