Highly Customizable, A Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Notion is extremely customizable, allowing pages to be made public and published to the web, which is extremely useful. I also love the intuitive use of databases, which lets us track information and projects without needing to purchase multiple different project management tools. Everything goes on Notion, which saves us costs. The automations and use of AI have been extremely helpful in my daily workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it is a learning curve going from Google Sheets or an Excel doc to using databases on Notion. There are certain things on Notion databases that are not as good. The learning curve is pretty high for Notion, especially for people who are just used to using G Suite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion serves as an all-in-one hub, where we can make all information searchable and found in one place, saving costs by eliminating the need for multiple tools. Its customizability, public pages, and AI automations enhance daily workflows.
Great Features and Usability, but Navigation Needs Improvement

What do you dislike about the product?
The process of searching and navigating is not as intuitive as I would like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion excels at capturing meeting minutes, making it unnecessary to have a dedicated note taker.

planning, team collaboration, meeting notes
Powerful and Flexible, but Overwhelming for Non-Techies
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility and capability of the tool and resources. Also, the Notion team appears to be extremely responsive to the community, constantly updating and upgrading the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's overwhelming for a non-techie. What makes it great also makes it frustrating sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm still learning, but its serving as a hub of information. I have ADHD and need to centralize the information of my life and like Notion's power and flexibility to do that in a number of dynamic ways.
Flexible Content Management with Handy AI Features, but Needs Better Recording Organization
What do you like best about the product?
It extremely flexible as a content repository and project management tool. I really like the ability to use AI to record meeting minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it difficult to locate all my AI meeting recordings in one place.

Versatile Tool for Academic Organization
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy having Notion's capability to record and summarize my lectures, which ensures I don't miss any critical information, and makes reviewing easier. Additionally, the meeting summaries are incredibly useful. I also appreciate the AI features of Notion, which would significantly influence my decision to purchase it again.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it challenging to figure out how to layout the content as I want. There is no feature allowing the merging of pages into one, which would help organize related meetings or topics more efficiently. I would like the ability to link related pages automatically, so accessing interconnected content becomes seamless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to record lectures, ensuring I don't miss key details and making it easier to review later. The meeting summaries are very useful for organizing and linking relevant information efficiently.
Efficient Organization with Notion's Intuitive Features
What do you like best about the product?
I find Notion's organizational features incredibly useful, helping me to organize my tasks and projects efficiently. The AI integration is a great addition, allowing for quick summarization and boosting my productivity, making my work more efficient and neat. The straightforward setup, aided by YouTube tutorials, is also a plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the implementation of some features, like Zotero, a bit tricky. I wish everything could be managed within the documents without needing to export and manipulate the data outside of Notion, as this process feels unwieldy. Additionally, I think the app integrations could be made more easily and readily accessible, and it should be clearer how to integrate other applications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to quickly organize and summarize tasks, leveraging AI to save time and enhance efficiency, resulting in neater work outputs.
Notion is a great tool for organization of tasks
What do you like best about the product?
It's AI integration allows me to organize my notes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though the software is very useful, the fees are quite expensive to have access to some of the best features and don't offer any student discounts.

Allows me to keep track of my weekly tasks and notes. I used it mostly for school studying purposes.
Great for Custom Dashboards and Workflow Integration, Needs Better Mobile Support
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate being able to create unique dashboards and rearrange them as needed. I use the platform every day to stay on top of my daily goals and plans. Additionally, I find it helpful that I can integrate workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like it to be more mobile-friendly and to offer an option to view it in desktop mode.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used to keep track of my notes and manage projects in a different app, GoodNotes, but I found it wasn't as flexible. When I was introduced to Notion, I loved how easily I could move things around and add my own creative touch. The templates section also makes it simple to get started.
Clean Interface and Easy Organization, but UI Issues with Notion Mail and Calendar
What do you like best about the product?
Notion has a very clean interface. It is very easy to organize notes into categories and search across notes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have some personal UI issues with Notion Mail and Notion Calendar. Within Notion itself, I wish there were a way to dynamically size the text for aging eyes and large screens.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me keep things organized by thread and subcategory. I can attach files and make notes as I want to use them.
