What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the ease of use and intuitiveness of Notion, which makes its interface a major asset for me. Setting up the application was simple and hassle-free, allowing me to start using it without any trouble. Notion helps me a lot in organizing by allowing me to take notes easily and efficiently. Its speed in executing these tasks is very appreciable, saving me time. Moreover, I use it for CRM management, which further enhances my organization. I find that Notion, coupled with tools like Excel and Google Sheets, integrates well into my daily workflow. In short, Notion is an indispensable tool for managing my personal and professional productivity, and I would very likely recommend it to a friend or colleague.

I don't like the lack of offline access, which limits my ability to work without an Internet connection.

What do you like best about the product?
the best thing about notion is obviously the crazy amount of features it has and also its UI/UX. I have been basically managing every aspect of my life on notion from past 1.5 years. from internship applications to health goals to assignment tracking to entrance exam preparation and even my mood journalling, notion has been my way to go! I even organise my daily planners, track my gym routine and basically head to toe of my life on notion. and how can I forget about my upsc preparation on notion. I have been able to organise and plan and structure every part of upsc exam on it starting from syllabus to plan to books to tests to quotes to YouTube videos everything. its features are so easily implemented and I cant go a single day without using notion!
the best thing is that I use notion to be updated in my current affairs. the feature of correlating two different elements at different pages gives me the proper system to organise my notes and keep them updated with current affairs.

What do you dislike about the product?
Notion has a crazy amount of features but I feel that what really lacks is a proper guide or a help desk that can easily help users and let them discover the already existing amazing features. Also, their colour scheme seems very pale. I would love if they add some amazing colour options.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the AI feature of Notion, specifically how it handles meeting summaries and transcript summaries, which really helps streamline my workflow. The comprehensive note and project management tools are indispensable for my MBA studies and startup meetings. The ability to document a series of important information using Notion's building blocks makes organizing data straightforward and efficient. This productivity boost is why I switched from Microsoft To Do, and it meets all my needs for note-taking and task management. Leveraging Notion for managing my to-do lists, meeting recordings, and class notes has been hugely beneficial. The variety of tutorials offered by Notion, despite needing more ease of access, significantly enhanced my understanding of the platform's capabilities and helped me use it more effectively.

I found the initial setup of Notion somewhat challenging to understand. It required me to take several tutorials offered by Notion to grasp how to use it more effectively. Additionally, I believe there should be easier access to these tutorials and guidance for efficiently using the software.

I use Notion to keep track of my to-do list, document important meetings and classes, and benefit from its AI features for summarizing meeting transcripts, enhancing my organization and productivity.

I really like Notion for its integrated artificial intelligence options. These tools are incredibly useful when I take notes in class, as they help me correct grammatical errors and organize disordered information, which is a great benefit for me. Additionally, I can ask the artificial intelligence to summarize my notes or make class summaries, which is invaluable in my university experience. I also enjoy the marketplace area where I can access templates from other people and use them in my own work, which is a very advantageous option. I valued Notion's ability to effectively address both my educational and organizational needs, which only makes me want to continue using its system.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I find using Notion complicated, especially when trying to set up tables or when I need to place specific information. Although these tasks have improved over time, initially they were cumbersome. There are also times when the application's artificial intelligence options limit me; particularly, I feel a barrier when they assume I'm cheating on tasks and change the subject instead of giving me the requested answer. This restriction can be frustrating, considering that afterwards I need to resort to alternatives like ChatGPT or GMind. Additionally, the cost is an inconvenience, as I pay 25 dollars a month for features mainly aimed at businesses, which is excessive for a student. I think it would be very beneficial to have a special pricing plan for students that includes artificial intelligence options, as we all currently depend on this technology for our tasks.

One potential downside of Notion AI is that it provides generic responses, which often require further editing to be tailored to my specific needs. It can also be somewhat slow when working with large or complex documents.

It addresses the challenge of time-consuming writing and information organization. It enables me to quickly create summaries and tidy up disorganized notes. This integration saves time and ensures your workflow remains efficient inside Notion.
Flexible and Feature-Rich, But Takes Time to Master
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is very flexible and has a lot of use cases. It was also pretty quick to get in and get going with it. I also really like the AI features which allow me to transcribe and summarize notes. It automatically organizes the transcription alongside a summary (vs only summarizing without giving me the full transcript to reference). I wasn't sure how often I'd use it but I use it all the time now. I didn't think I'd use it at all for writing notes but it's slowly becoming my tool of choice for taking notes during meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a learning curve to the interface. It's quick to set up but it's not quick to get going with it. I think this might just be a challenge with something that has a lot of customization and features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primarily, it is saving me time and serving as a point of reference / communication with other people I work with. We use it for keeping track of our equipment and who has it and also for managing our social media posts / ideas. I use it individually for taking notes during meetings where I have a hard time focusing on what's being said while also writing things down.
Excellent for Structured Docs, But Losing Focus with Too Many Features
What do you like best about the product?
Great shared documentation tool, with structure. Structure across the organisation/location structure, as well as being able to create structure within the documentation. Quite easy for new joiners to pick up and get to grips with (general documentation).
What do you dislike about the product?
It is trying to do too many things. Starting to become a bit of a jack of all trades, master of none. I think there are quite a few improvements that could be made on the core product before you start doing more (e.g. calendar, mail, some of the AI tools etc). Using it for tickets as a PM is a bit convoluted with relationships and tables -- doesn't integrate as well with developer tools/GitHub.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a great knowledge base that really facilitates our organisation's set-up as remote-first. Everything is done remotely, and being able to control the documentation structure is invaluable. It is also great for my own personal organisation, with to-do lists, notetaking, etc.
