Additionally, I appreciate how Notion has the potential to assist me in crafting SOPs for future use, either for myself or to guide others.

Enhances Knowledge Management, But Could Improve Usability
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for knowledge management, as it makes accessing and referencing important information straightforward and efficient. It's a fantastic database tool that simplifies the archiving and retrieval of crucial documents and evergreen materials. The search function of Notion works exceptionally well, making it easy to find documents by remembering the title or specific words within the document. This capability transforms Notion into a reliable reference tool, especially beneficial when immediate access to information is necessary to resolve issues. The ability to share information with others seamlessly while working collaboratively to refine the stored data enhances its utility significantly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it clunky to start and duplicate pages in Notion. It's also difficult to navigate and not intuitive, especially when creating new pages. While I can navigate existing pages more easily, I still struggle with setting up new ones.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for knowledge management, making it easy to access, share, and reference information. It helps us problem-solve and refine information collaboratively. Notion's search function is excellent for quickly finding necessary documents, enhancing our efficiency while working in the field.
Simplified Documentation Experience with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Notion enables easier documentation search, making finding the right information a smooth experience. The simplified formatting and standard look and feel are aspects I really enjoy, as they make formatting less of a variable in document creation and contribute to a consistent, professional appearance. This streamlined approach to formatting reduces the time and effort typically required for document styling, allowing me to focus more on content rather than aesthetics. Such features make my documentation tasks more efficient and less cumbersome.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some formatting limitations are frustrating and restrictive in Notion. The inability to embed spreadsheets from Google Sheets directly is inconvenient as it necessitates copying and pasting data into Notion tables.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for documentation, it enables easier search and makes formatting less variable with a standard look.
Highly Customizable, Integrative, and User-Friendly with Room for AI Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how user-friendly and customizable Notion is, as it allows me to personalize my workspace and tailor it to my specific needs. This flexibility is a great advantage both at work and for personal organization. Notion's ability to integrate seamlessly with all my other tools, including email, Google Drive, Slack, and Asana, helps me maintain a streamlined workflow across different platforms. The software serves as a central hub, enabling me to organize and synthesize various datasets effectively, keeping all my information conveniently at my fingertips. Additionally, its adaptability to change setups without hassle adds significant value to my experience, making it a dynamic tool that can evolve according to my requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the AI in Notion could be improved as it doesn't catch everything I need. There is also a learning curve associated with the initial setup, and I would have liked to see more variation in different initial setups before making a decision.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to stay organized, keeping all information readily accessible, and I appreciate its user-friendliness, customization, and integration capabilities, which centralize and synchronize my datasets.

Notion empowers Customer Success Advisors like myself by bringing all essential information together, simplifying workflows, and improving collaboration. It acts as a central hub for playbooks, onboarding guides, and SOPs, making it easy to access everything in one place. The database features also make it simple to monitor customer health, manage renewals, and track engagement.
Flexible and Comprehensive, Lacks Developer API
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Notion as it serves as my second brain, especially given my ADHD, by organizing all my project management and to-do items seamlessly. The integration of markdown and point-and-click functionalities is crucial for me, as it adapts effortlessly to my fluctuating work styles—whether I'm in a creative mode needing a mouse or coding days using a keyboard. The presence of AI embedded right from the keyboard greatly enhances my productivity, allowing me to have everything I need in one place. I deeply appreciate its modularity, where its various independent components and features are designed to fit well together, providing a cohesive experience. Its versatility and adaptability to different working scenarios are what keep me using it almost daily, both professionally and personally.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that Notion lacks an API for developers to create their own add-ons. As someone who enjoys making my own tools and features, the absence of this capability limits my ability to tailor the platform to my specific needs. In comparison, competitors like Obsidian allow for such customization, which is something I find invaluable. Without the ability to develop and integrate my own solutions, my workflow with Notion feels less automated and efficient than it could be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion as my second brain for project management and to-dos, adapting to my varying work styles with ADHD, whether I'm coding, being creative, or free writing.
Streamlined Project Management with Minor Timeline Tweaks
What do you like best about the product?
I have really come to appreciate Notion's relations and rollups feature, which significantly enhances project management by allowing unique databases for various projects. This capability eliminates the need to replicate data, as it automatically gathers relevant information, contributing to increased transparency, especially in cross-departmental and long-term projects. Notion's ability to consolidate almost all project communications into a single platform, rather than relying on emails or side messages, has markedly increased our team's efficiency and communication. I also find immense value in Notion's capacity to automate repeatable tasks, which reduces the mental load and ensures that tasks, even those repeated infrequently, are not forgotten. This system of automation is paired with an easy onboarding process, allowing team members to engage with the platform quickly and with minimal additional training. This streamlined setup makes creating complex workflows and automations straightforward, even for a new user like myself who only started using Notion six months ago. This combination of features provides a customized, efficient experience while enabling leadership to maintain oversight with the full view of projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the timeline feature in Notion to be a bit clunky for project management purposes. It does not allow multiple occurrences of a task to be shown on the same line, which results in a cluttered visual when dealing with tasks repeated over time, like a quarterly report. Additionally, the filtering for timelines based on date is not ideal, as I would prefer it to adapt to the point of time I'm scrolling through on the timeline rather than being static from today's date. Although I've worked around these issues, I feel this display isn't as intuitive or fully functional as other Notion features. Furthermore, our team cannot link Notion to other software tools due to heightened security measures, which limits integration options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Notion enhances cross-departmental project transparency and communication, consolidating interactions into one platform. It allows me to create complex automations and workflows, tailor database views for customized project experiences, and automate tasks, reducing mental load and ensuring efficiency.
All-in-One Data Hub with Helpful AI, Learning Curve for New Users
What do you like best about the product?
I love that everything is in one place and that I can chat with the AI about my data specifically. It has been an easy learning curve, especially with the help of the AI to help teach me what it needs. I use it almost every day while running my business, especially when looking at multiple data points.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think this is a notion issue, but I am still learning the system's process. It has been an easy learning curve, especially with the help of the AI to help teach me what it needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is helping me store all of my data in a way that is functional and easy to use. Having AI on board has been even easier.
