  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and collaborate
The new AI summary for Zoom meetings is working surprisingly well
What do you dislike about the product?
Not structured enough, cannot keep track on where pages are
Tables are a hot mess - can never properly work with them, not user friendly at all (like why is a table box its own page?)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using it for both KB, internal documentations, PRDs and planning of work (Q plan, sprint plan)

Unified Project Hosting, Needs Better Commenting

  • November 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Notion because it provides a unified place to store projects involving multiple stakeholders, making it easier to manage work projects collaboratively. I appreciate the ability to create multiple types of entries like spreadsheets and code, allowing for diverse and rich project documentation and management. The flexibility of copying and pasting from other sources into Notion is a feature I enjoy, as it simplifies transferring data and information into my projects seamlessly. Although I wasn't involved in setting up Notion, I've heard that it was relatively easy, which suggests a straightforward onboarding process. I find these capabilities highly beneficial for organizing and maintaining complex project information efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot comment on a certain line of text, which makes it challenging to explain what exactly needs to be changed or questioned. This limitation hinders communication and collaboration, especially in projects with multiple entries and stakeholders. Improving this by allowing comments on specific lines would greatly enhance the communication process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to have a unified place for storing projects with multiple stakeholders, creating diverse entries like spreadsheets and code, and easily copying and pasting from other sources.

Versatile Tool with Valuable Integrations, Needs Better Navigation

  • November 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Notion for its wide array of tools and connections, which enhance its functionality significantly. The potential of the JIRA connection stands out for me, as it minimizes the effort required to manage tickets within JIRA while ensuring that these tasks are accessible to stakeholders, without granting them direct entry into JIRA. The ability to link to work pieces in Kanban and timeline views within Notion is incredibly useful, as it allows me to share progress updates with stakeholders through a shareable board. This feature facilitates effective communication and transparency, making it easier for everyone involved to track the progress of various tickets.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigation can be a bit tricky due to the hierarchy being confusing, as the nesting of items is substantial. The padding for each sub-navigation item is a bit small, which makes it difficult to distinguish between different layers of the hierarchy. Additionally, it's not always easy to see which page I'm currently on because the selected state in the left navigation is too light.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for transcribing meeting notes, creating roadmaps and trackers, and centralizing reference materials. The JIRA connection in Notion reduces ticket management overhead and enables sharing progress with stakeholders efficiently.

Effortless to Use, Highly Customizable

  • November 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for creating notes and managing my project plans at work, and I love how it organizes a plethora of ideas, feedback, and comments into one neatly structured place. Notion impresses me with its ease of use, which allows me to adapt it to my personal thought process, whether it's for planning or creating visuals. The initial setup of Notion was incredibly easy, which was a huge relief as it didn't require any hassle.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it challenging that changing font colors and selections in Notion is limited. The current list doesn't provide enough variety or flexibility, which can be a bit frustrating when trying to tailor documents to my liking. Additionally, while I use tables frequently, the process of creating and editing them could be more intuitive and streamlined.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to organize notes, manage projects, and consolidate ideas and feedback in one place.

Flexible Yet Overwhelming with Challenging Setup

  • November 21, 2025

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate Notion's insane flexibility, which allows me to track my projects and easily share them with my colleagues. This adaptability is a major advantage, as it can be tailored to meet my project needs efficiently. Additionally, I enjoy the customizable templates that Notion offers, enabling me to adjust them according to my specific tasks. This feature significantly enhances my workflow by providing a structured yet adaptable approach to project management.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, Notion feels overwhelming due to its excessive flexibility, which can make it difficult to manage and navigate. Additionally, I found the initial setup of Notion to be not easy, which may be a barrier for new users trying to acclimate to the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Highly Customisable and Versatile Document Creation

  • November 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the customisability—it allows me to create any type of document I need, whether for work or personal use. I also like that I can integrate various addons to better illustrate the purpose of my documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigating between various documents can be challenging. I’m not aware of a way to browse our collection of documents without depending a lot on the search feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion acts as a central hub for all our HR documents, making it convenient to have everything stored in one location. However, the clarity regarding the 'validity' of these documents can sometimes be lacking. As I mentioned before, I often have difficulty finding specific documents within a large organization, and occasionally I come across outdated files. Introducing a 'verify this page' feature could help address this uncertainty and ensure that the information is current.

The all-in-one workspace that replaced half my productivity tools

  • November 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Notion’s flexibility is unmatched, you can turn a blank page into literally anything: a project tracker, knowledge base, documentation hub, or even a full workspace for your team. The database views (board, table, calendar, gallery) make it super easy to organize information the way you want. Templates are a huge time-saver, and the real-time collaboration works smoothly.
What do you dislike about the product?
With too many databases and heavy pages, performance can slow down, especially on mobile. Also, while the tool is flexible, it may feel overwhelming for new users until they understand how blocks and databases work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps centralise tasks, documentation, and project planning in one place. Instead of using multiple apps for notes, to-dos, and tracking work, everything is now organized within a single workspace. This improves team alignment, reduces context switching, and saves a lot of time.

Exceptional Knowledge Management with an Impressive Interface

  • November 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I've always wanted to find software that could help me capture and store the knowledge I gain, and Notion meets this need exceptionally well. It gives me the freedom to organise my notes as I wish, and the user interface is truly impressive.
What do you dislike about the product?
My main concern is that the app isn't especially beginner-friendly; the extensive freedom it offers can make it difficult to know where to start when taking notes. Another downside is the absence of handwriting support. Since I use an iPad, I would much prefer to be able to handwrite my lecture notes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This app has provided me with significant motivation to maintain records, which is important to me as someone who likes to document everything I learn.

What do you like best about the product?
Notion is very user-friendly and offers a range of powerful features. It makes it easy to keep everything organized in one place, and it integrates seamlessly with workflows, making task tracking effortless.
What do you dislike about the product?
When there is a large amount of data on a single page, it takes a noticeable amount of time to load. Additionally, I find that configuring the theme can be quite challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me organize my tasks, plan content, and keep all my information in one place, including test details and marketing plans. It saves me time, boosts my productivity, and makes it easier to stay on track with my work.

Customizable and Centralized, but a Steep Learning Curve

  • November 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love using Notion to take notes for meetings, which serves as a reliable source of truth, allowing me to consolidate all information in one place. This centralization makes it much easier for me to manage task lists and stay organized. I appreciate the customizability that Notion offers, providing the flexibility to tailor the platform to fit my specific needs and workflows. Additionally, the new transcription feature has been incredibly helpful, enhancing my productivity by offering seamless integration of written and audio notes. Notion has also become a central hub for me, replacing various different products such as Google Docs and emails, thereby streamlining my work process.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times that the user interface makes it more challenging to do certain things. I'm struggling to think of specific examples, but that is a feeling I've had before while using Notion. Challenging, there was a steep learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to centralize notes and task management, offering a single source of truth and customizing features to fit my needs, eliminating the use of multiple products like Google Docs and emails.
