Replacing Google Drive
Flexible Yet Overwhelming for Some
What do you like best about the product?
I mainly use Notion for task planning, note-taking, and tracking goals. Notion solves the problem of scattered information for me by keeping everything in one organized system, which helps me stay focused and reduces mental clutter. What I like most about Notion is its flexibility; I can structure it exactly the way my brain works rather than being forced into a fixed system. It's simple on the surface but powerful once you start customizing it. The feature of blocks is key, allowing me to mix text, checklists, databases, and links on the same page and rearrange them anytime. Databases are particularly useful because I can view the same information as a list, table, or calendar without rewriting anything. Blocks make it easy to build and change things quickly, and databases help turn simple notes into something structured, allowing me to filter, sort, and track progress. Together, they keep everything organized while staying flexible.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside is that Notion can feel overwhelming at first because there are so many ways to set things up. It also depends heavily on an internet connection, so offline use isn’t great. Performance can slow down on very large databases. None of these are deal-breakers, but they’re areas that could definitely improve.

Flexible Data Management with Room for AI Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Notion for organizing my personal life and side projects. It solves the problem of keeping different files and information clear and accessible. I really appreciate its ability to have highly flexible data structures, allowing me to link different types of information together, which would be very difficult otherwise. The initial setup was very easy, especially since I'm a developer, and I also use Notion with other tools like Claude & Notion calendar.
What do you dislike about the product?
Most things work quite well, some areas of improvement could be making AI more useful. I know it's new and a work in progress, however, it's very basic at the moment. I would like to have a better file management system where I could see and search for files more easily. Particularly PDFs.

Diverse Templates and Helpful AI Make Notion a Standout
What do you like best about the product?
I like the diverse templates that Notion offers for roadmaps and project management. Its very to use the tool and the new AI feature helps me a lot to in organizing my personal notes in Notion and fix things grammatically.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Notion had more storage and flexibility for the free account for personal use, especially on the AI limited feature on the writing assistant. Also, more templates for different roles to keep their tasks and projects more tailored to their role.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Overall, I find Notion very easy to use, which helps me save time when taking notes and organizing my thoughts.

Customizable, Versatile Hub with Some Hiccups
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is my go-to hub for keeping everything organized in one place, from client projects to campaigns. I love that it keeps all project info in one spot, saving me time from digging through emails or scattered documents. I can set timelines, briefs, and updates all together. The customization is definitely a highlight; I can pretty much build anything, like a dashboard, CRM, or content tracker, without needing another app. This means I can tailor everything to how the agency actually works, linking client pages to campaigns, tracking statuses, and even automating reminders. Setting up was easy initially, as I had a basic workspace running in under an hour with their templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Offline access is still pretty unreliable, pages don't always sync right when I'm on the go. Search can miss stuff in nested databases too and mobile apps feel clunky for heavy editing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is my go-to hub to keep everything organized in one place, saving time from digging through emails. It lets me customize dashboards, CRM, or content trackers, linking client pages to campaigns, tracking statuses, and automating reminders.
Intuitive Task Management with AI Features
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for task management and document filing for work. I like the task management and AI integration because they make setting up task management pages and databases easier. It's really helpful because it's a bit hard to do without a lot of background knowledge on using databases.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find setting up databases in Notion hard without a lot of background knowledge. I also don't know or find the need for Notion Mail.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me ensure I don’t miss deadlines and lets me see all my tasks on one page. It's also a convenient wiki with an easy-to-use search tool.
Distinctive Design, But Needs Better Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
I love Notion's design and ease of use as it provides a great balance of power and simplicity. I also really appreciate your addition of Email and Calendar, which are so much better than Google, and the consistent design across these features. It helps me track all the things I need to do in a robust manner with a nice, clear interface. It's been beneficial for tracking my staff and their roles, and I see potential for further growth in its use and function. I have recommended Notion frequently because of these features.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really need apps for all three programs: Notion, Calendar, and Email. I'm just diving into the use of the database, data reports, views, etc. It's been a learning curve. Not bad, but could be better. For example, creating pivot table-like reports for data was too hard to do and I had to go to Google Sheets to run a basic summary form. Not ideal. Cost is a barrier and usability for low tech folks is also a concern.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion allows me to track tasks and staff performance effectively with a clear interface. It offers growth potential in its use and functionality.
Notion: Powerful, Yet Challenging to Master
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how Notion helps us keep everything organized despite being a more complex platform. Notion AI has been incredibly helpful in organizing our workflows and pulling together data and documents from different platforms like Google Drive and Slack. It's just able to bring resources from all different places into one spot, which saves me so much time. I also love that it can build out databases for us, and Notion AI has helped me learn a lot about working with Notion, even as a newer user. I especially love the Notion transcripts; they are handy for creating LinkedIn content because I can take a full transcript, put it into AI, and have my LinkedIn content calendar populated. Bringing everything together in one platform makes things less chaotic and more streamlined for our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't know. I just like that view better than the database table. And I think that's one thing with Notion that I struggle with, also exporting to PDFs. I feel like it's not as easy to download a PDF and it also never has a file name. And as someone who works with GPT and Gemini and Perplexity a lot, I feel like I like to download those documents as PDFs and upload them, and it it's just an extra step when they download from Notion because it's not a file name, and it's doesn't the exporting system just isn't as easy as, like, Google Docs would be. I wouldn't say it was easy. On a scale of one to 10, I'd probably say six or seven. It was it's been a challenge to shift to Notion for sure. Notion's not the easiest platform to use. It also just has a lot of bells and whistles that you can dive into.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion saves me time by integrating Google Drive, Slack, and databases, pulling resources into one spot. It helps organize workflows and create content easily. Notion AI has been invaluable for organizing data and building databases.
