An expansively helpful resource
What do you like best about the product?
Overall, I think Writer is an excellent tool to craft optimized, engaging, and comprehensive content . The readability and grammar check function has helped even my most stream-of-conciousness writing go from convoluted to clear.
What do you dislike about the product?
I will admit, the user experience was not super easy to navigate at first. While I felt as though the beginning step-by-step tutorial did a good job of setting you up with the basics, I still found myself having to flounder about to explore more of Writer's functions. In fact, I'm still not sure that I know how to utilize them all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The idea generation, readability checks, and grammar checks are a massive help to me, especially when an article is needed with quick turnaround.
I love customizing Writer’s rules to fit our brand’s wiring style.
What do you like best about the product?
Writer's integration across my other tools, like Google Docs and Chrome, make it easy to edit and improve my writing—no matter what tool I'm using. It's a seamless way to keep my writing on-brand at all times. And, Writer is always handy to help improve my words by simplifying or revising into a different tone of voice.
I keep the Write Chrome extension and the Writer Mac app on 24/7, so it keeps my writing strong and crisp every time I open my MacBook Pro. It was also easy to get started, no need to learn fancy GPT prompts before starting out. It's plug-and-play, so you'll start seeing results right away.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think the blog writing tool is as good as some others. The copy just doesn't feel very interesting or original. But, Writer does an excellent job helping me build outlines by suggesting subheads and sections that should be included.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Writer speeds up my editing process and keeps my writing interesting when I'm in a rush.
Good interface, good results
What do you like best about the product?
I like how they've designed the interface, and while the tech ultimately does the same thing regardless of which template you use, the templates are good way to guide you through using the product.
I also like that you can have recordings and pdfs summarized, which is new.
I also like that you can have recordings and pdfs summarized, which is new.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit buggy and I often find myself having to restart the platform to make new requests within the same template. Also while the output is pretty good, it's not great. A lot of the content is generic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Summarizing articles, long webinars or transcripts, reports, and grammar (brevity to be specific).
Writer helps me be a better, well, writer.
What do you like best about the product?
I really like all the integrations Writer has!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the desktop app allowed you to select text by highlighting it instead of selecting a box around the text. Sometimes, I have text that spans multiple pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Writer helps me when I'm in a creative rut. Writer also helps me keep my writing at an appropriate grade level.
Writer
What do you like best about the product?
We have enjoyed using Writer as part of our design process. It has been beneficial not only for spelling and grammar checks but also for refining tooltip and error message language.
What do you dislike about the product?
The writer appears to be more appropriate for a marketing team at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Writer helps me refine language for tooltips and error messages. It also helps generate different language options.
Helps increase efficiency for small teams
What do you like best about the product?
I'm still using WRITER in the same ways.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think WRITER could offer some additional ways to personalize tone and style.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Writer helps me save a significant amount of time in transcribing and highlighting key areas from interviews with subject matter experts. It helps me get maybe 60% of the way to a completed blog draft, which is huge for a small team.
Writer is so fun to use!
What do you like best about the product?
Writer is the writing buddy I don't have. I work by myself, so many time I wish I had a human to ask if there are different ways to say something. I love algie it saves everything. It's very searchable. I can be pretty messy, and I am still not sure how I'm ultimately going to set up writer to use. Right now, I still have pages and pages of blurbs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I can think of at the moment can I get back to you
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thinking of other ways to say things, drafts saving, searchable copy database
Great AI for small teams
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Writer is an evolving platform, constantly improving its offerings. It's really useful for writing up blogs - even more technical ones - and I especially like the ability to generate recaps from webinars and podcasts. I hope to explore the product-specific offerings more soon.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is definitely a learning curve to using Writer; it could be more intuitive, but seems to be improving.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Need to write blogs on heavily technical topics with a limited staff
Writer is great! I'm glad we bought it
What do you like best about the product?
The browser extension is easy to toggle on and off. We use Writer this way frequently, less so in their writing tool. Using their tool would probably be better and faster, but I don't see the value in adding another step to my publishing process. I also need to be able to collaborate with coworkers who don't have Writer. I haven't delved into their cool AI features; but it's a cool idea.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ability to use it in Google Docs is in beta, and I hope it's being prioritized because that's where we do a great deal of writing. I don't like that you have to scroll through a page to get Writer to evaluate it, I wish it would just evaluate the whole page (even if it's incremental, do the work before I get to that part of the page).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Writer helps us standardize capitalization and words used to describe our product and it's features. It's very helpful in standardizing language across our Help Center. Consistency is important, and Writer helps us be consistent easily. The rules feature is great and we have many. We use it when creating new documentation, but equally as important: it helps us quickly update older docs.
For intelligence in your content strategy and content operations
What do you like best about the product?
Writer gives you the structure and the right foundations to define what defines an organization's message—the strengths, the semantics, and the boundaries—and it brings that collective intelligence in how different teams communicate and co-design the content development and publishing cycle.
Write is modular—you can build whatever you want for your specific needs and goals, and yet Writer is super powerful for enterprise scale content operations.

What do you dislike about the product?
I like everything about Writer—their amazing team running a super-exciting solution for the real-world problems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Writer brings the right structure, method, process, and of course the velocity in the operations across different teams and functions in an organization. When I used it for a pilot project to begin with, I saw how it makes my job a lot easier not only for writing but to define the standards, the style guide, and how it makes co-authoring and pblishing-at-speed, super useful for the organization. It saves time, saves cost, and brings the right cadence, and the moment in all the teams.
