Flexible Recurring Tasks and Reminders Make Asana a Strong Productivity Hub

  • April 10, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to set flexibly recurring tasks, to set reminders for further out future dates, to keep track of delegated tasks, to add subtasks to note when action has been taken, even if the original item isn't yet done. I like being able to add tasks by email (though I wish there was a way to set a deadline via email). Access via browser or mobile device. Comparative easy for learning basic functionality for new users. Views for more visual people vs. more list or data-oriented users.
What do you dislike about the product?
As you have added more functionality, it's become harder, more burdensome, to try to figure out how to best use Asana for my purpose. Id like more bite-sized training or examples, I'd like data sets I could play with to see if those formats would work with my data. I'd like a better sense of how to modify my data/format if I get started and then find it's not in the optimal format. As mentioned, I'd like tasks created from an email to have an owner assignment and due date (sending the task to myself creates another email). We're trying to test out setting up templates for projects that repeat themselves (e.g., all the steps before, during, and after hosting a webinar)... I'm not sure we've figured out the best ways to do this. I wonder about how we'll capture learnings from actual use to apply them back to our template and to activities based on the templates. I'm concerned that we'll create a monster... or require someone to be the manager of all the tasks and activities... rather than having each team member be reasonably self-sufficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Handoffs and complexity of how many people are contributing to a project are killing us! Having someone see that a task is assigned to another team member... that both see/know that task is being held. People forgetting to ask for inputs in a timely manner, or asking without providing all the necessary details. We are early in the process of trying to solve this. We're at the stage where lack of systems is so burdensome that it's hard to build the systems.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use and ability to copy tasks and projects, as well as creating templates, and the new AI feature that just launched.
What do you dislike about the product?
Adding new tasks and the clunkiness of having to either make private or public, especially for large quantities on an individual basis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps keep me organized and not allow things to slip through the cracks.

Streamlined Project Management with Excellent Integration

  • April 10, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to forward Slack and email messages from my coworkers to my Asana board. We also autoforward emails from our shared inbox to an Asana board. From there, we figure out whose job it is to pick up that email. It allows us to cut down response time by allowing us to immediately identify which member of our team ought to pick up the email in question. The initial setup of Asana was easy breezy, with no big issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the Asana workflows had the option to add a delay step (i.e., when a task is added, wait 5 minutes, and then run Asana AI step). That way, the Asana AI steps don't run so prematurely.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps us manage our project pipeline, stay on top of tasks, and ensures visibility on deadlines, reducing communication errors. It supports swift email response by clearly assigning tasks, improving efficiency.

Sublime UX, Smooth Integrations, and Powerful AI Features

  • April 09, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely love their UX. Everything is so clean and smooth, easy to use and learn. It has many integrations with our tech stack so I could easily sync things with Google and Slack. I never had any issues with the platform performance or the support team, and their assistant chat agent is great for questions and doubts. I'ev used many of their AI features as well, specially for Project summaries, updates, goals, suggested workflows.. and I think it's just SUBLIME
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside it's that it's somehow more expensive than some of it's competitors, so my company decided to keep JIRA for project tracking rather than Asana - Believe me.. I cried when this happened!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Everything! Project tracking, goal tracking, automatic updates and reports for managers, automated workflows to save manual time.

Intuitive and Efficient for Enterprise Project Management

  • April 09, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Asana allows me to track the progress of projects across my whole organization, avoiding the need to reach out to people personally for status updates. I enjoy having all the information in a single place and having a detailed plan that clearly shows who is responsible for each task. The interface is so easy to use and very intuitive, which requires very little training to start using it. Additionally, I appreciate how everything is clear, and it provides a quick visualization of how things are tracking with reporting dashboards that offer a lot of insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able to select different color themes based on my company palette. Then, on the left-hand side menu, all the projects are visible, and not all of them are relevant. The chat feature could be improved, to look more like Slack.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana avoids the need to reach out for status updates and consolidates information in one place, offering detailed plans and task responsibility clarity.

Effortless Organization and Streamlined Task Management with Asana

  • April 08, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the way Asana is organized, making it easy to view my tasks by their due dates rather than by project, though I also appreciate the option to sort them by project. Adding tasks is straightforward and can be done on the app, through email, or by other people assigning tasks, which makes it feel very open-ended. I like that even if someone isn't on the same team, they can still view what's going on and contribute without a lot of hassle over permissions. The recurring tasks feature is handy for reminding me to do routine things, freeing up brain space since I can attach directions and links to tasks. Asana just seems to work really well; it's not hard to learn or wonky. I find it easier to learn than other project management tools I've seen in the past.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm still new to Asana, so it's still very shiny to me. I don't know that I've really run into a lot of things that can be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to keep tasks organized, making it easy to know who's doing what and when it's due. It provides a clear and consistent way to communicate important project details across projects and teams.

Honestly, I don’t have any major dislikes so far. It meets my daily needs very well.

Asana Turns Small Business Chaos Into Seamless, Intuitive Workflows

  • April 08, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Running a small business means wearing every hat imaginable, and Asana helps make that manageable. It’s intuitive and cuts down the mental overhead that comes with project management. The dependent task feature—especially when it’s tied to timelines or milestones—has been a real game-changer for me in staying on track.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that really bugs me about Asana is having to manually collapse tasks all the time. I’ll hover over a task, it opens automatically, and then I have to go back and close it myself. It’s not a deal breaker by any means, but it’s pretty annoying and adds unnecessary friction to what would otherwise be a seamless UX.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Each client we work with has a set of roughly 40–50 tasks tied to their portfolio, and being able to instantly create a timeline-dependent project through templates has been an absolute game changer.

I also handle social media, marketing, client relations, and business operations, so having everything in one place—and being able to keep track of it all—has been really remarkable.

ASANA Makes Task Easy and Friendly

  • April 07, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like about ASANA is basically how I can manage my tasks and projects—not only that, but also how I can leave comments or add people if the work is collaborative.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the graphics don't look very user-friendly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The way everything is organized and the reminders for tasks have helped foster a proactive attitude among the teams
