Asana’s Makes Project Management Simple and Systematic
What do you like best about the product?
I like the simplicity of Asana and I feel it works with the way my brain thinks systematically.
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren't many things that I do not like about Asana.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cross team collaboration with many different departments is a huge benefit. Keeping people in the loop on projects and tasks where the outcome needs to be public is also a benefit.
Keeps Cross-Functional Teams Organized with Ease
What do you like best about the product?
as a project manager it helps me keep all cross functional teams organized
What do you dislike about the product?
there are some minor features, like the portfolio management and inability to assign a task to multiple users
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
project management, we do a lot of skunkworks and POC type projects asana makes it easy to review these and keep everyone on track
Plenty of Integrations and an Easy-to-Follow UX
What do you like best about the product?
I like that there are a lot of integrations to choose from and that, in general, the UX is easy to follow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that integrations were easier to use and that there were some additional features that made planning certain types of projects easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We struggled with knowing where projects were in different statuses but now can easily check in
Helps Organise Company Project Tasks Effortlessly
What do you like best about the product?
It helps organise project tasks in a company
What do you dislike about the product?
A few integrations are missing, and some of the existing integrations don’t feel appropriate or well-suited for the integrations they’re meant to support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simply Project makes task management very efficient.
Keeps Our Marketing Projects Organized and Structured
What do you like best about the product?
It helps organize our marketing team’s projects and keeps everything more structured.
What do you dislike about the product?
It isn’t very technical overall, which is fine, but I do wish there were a better way to sort things. The sorting options feel limited, and it makes it harder to find what I’m looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a board for the marketing team to work on weekly projects together
Collaborative and Efficient Yet Needs Better Task-Context Visibility
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Asana is collaborative and that you can use it to see the same things that your other team members see. I really like how you're able to break down projects and then create duplicates for the following year if you're completing a similar project, rather than having to start from scratch. I also like that you can message other team members on a specific task if you have questions about it. The initial setup was very simple; everything's pretty straightforward and well organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t like that if you aren’t subscribed to a project, but you are tagged to a task that you can’t see what the project is because that’s very confusing to know why you’re doing the specific task if you don’t have context. I think that if you’re assigned a task, you should automatically be able to see what the project is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to ensure no tasks are overlooked, set up and manage project steps, and automate recurring tasks monthly. It helps us collaborate effectively, and I appreciate its project duplication feature for similar future projects.
Easy-to-Use, User-Friendly, and Customizable Asana
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is easy to use, user friendly and customizable.

At first, the number of reminders that were sent in multiple formats was overwhelming. Once customized, this became less aggressive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had no task management system and were managing all projects with an Excel spreadsheet. Having some sense of order is very helpful.

I like the choice of boards to display the project, the way you can layer task info, and track comments

Easy to Use but Could Be More Streamlined
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Asana is easy to use and makes it easy to organize stuff. The initial setup was pretty easy too.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think sometimes it feels like an extra step to add stuff into Asana, just making things more streamlined and adding additional layers within a portfolio might help.

I use Asana for project management, which helps with time management. It's easy to use and organize stuff.
Flexible Projects and Custom Fields That Keep Us Organized
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to have separate projects and to make custom fields.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be helpful to have folders for projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaborating with teammates on major projects is much more streamlined when we can keep things organized and in one place.
