Highly Customizable with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I use Asana to manage creative projects at my job. It allows us to have a centralized system for keeping track of timelines and providing feedback to team members. I like how it is structured and that it is very customizable. I think the tasks feature works well. I believe it was fairly easy to set up, and when I joined, I had no problem learning the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the way tasks are displayed could be improved and maybe be shown in a calendar view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to manage creative projects by keeping track of timelines and providing feedback to team members in a centralized system.
Super Intuitive, Quick to Start, and Backed by Great Support Resources
What do you like best about the product?
super intuitive and easy to just jump in and get started right away. the support is great and they have so many resources from courses, short videos and articles something. AI chat doesn't take actions very clearly but its progressively getting better. It's quick and haven;t had any performance issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some visibility is lacking in the template builder, and the way dependencies are presented is a bit confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps my team track, manage, and report on implementations. For our small team, it has saved us hours and spared us the headache of managing all of these projects.
Fast, Friendly Task Management That Streamlines My Day
What do you like best about the product?
it helps me with my everyday tasks. within an hour of the start of the day i've finished everything i had to do. i use the free plan so i do not get all the extra features but it is still a good one. i share the tasks my employees have to do with assigning them to each one of them. performance is great, it doesn't take any time loading all of the tasks. i have not yet needed to contact the support. the ui is very friendly, you get used to it the first day of using it. i have used it along with google drive and slack and it suit me great.
What do you dislike about the product?
maybe if it had a step breakdown for each task instead of a plain description
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we really struggled with the task assignment and which tasks we had to do each day and what we've left bejind as well as what we conquered so we can make a newsletter with it and inform our clients for example
Asana Brings Clarity and Structure to Projects with a User-Friendly Workflow
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Asana is how it brings structure and clarity to managing tasks and projects without making things feel complicated. The platform makes it easy to organize workflows, assign responsibilities, and track progress in real time. I especially appreciate how everything stays centralized, which reduces the need to switch between different tools. The interface is user-friendly, and once you get used to it, it becomes a reliable system for maintaining consistency and keeping work aligned across different priorities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although Asana is highly functional, there are moments where the platform can feel slightly complex, especially when dealing with more advanced features or setting up detailed workflows. It may take some time to fully understand all the customization options available. In some cases, certain tasks require multiple steps to complete, which can slow down the process a bit. While these challenges are manageable, simplifying these aspects would make the overall experience even more efficient and accessible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps address the difficulty of managing multiple tasks and keeping everything organized in a clear and structured way. It eliminates the confusion that often comes with scattered information by bringing everything into one system. This makes it easier to prioritize responsibilities, monitor progress, and ensure deadlines are met consistently. The result is a more streamlined workflow, improved focus, and a noticeable increase in productivity without unnecessary stress or disorganization.
Great for Keeping Track of Tasks and Projects
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to keep track of things, especially tasks and projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm our team's virtual assistant and I'm not sure if it's because of the plan we're in or it's for everybody but one challenge I encountered recently is not being able to integrate each of our team members' calendars into the rule I was adding to a project. At the very least, being able to connect the team members' calendars myself without having to actually access their accounts with the only purpose being to automate important reminders to their calendars. So, I guess, that's one thing Asana can improve on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're in the construction business so we're Asana as a project tracker by having our client cards there. We are able to keep track of what's needed to be taken care of per client.
Asana Keeps Projects Visible and Teams Aligned
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Asana simplifies task management and strengthens team alignment. It gives us clear visibility into our projects, makes collaboration smoother, and helps everyone stay organized without adding unnecessary complexity.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana can sometimes feel overwhelming when I’m managing multiple large projects, since task structures can quickly become complex. On top of that, some features aren’t very intuitive at first, so it takes a bit of time to fully get used to them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps us manage multiple ongoing projects by adding structure and clarity to our workflows. It cuts down on manual coordination, strengthens cross-team alignment, and makes sure tasks don’t slip through the cracks. As a result, we can move faster, stay organized, and keep better control over our day-to-day operations.
Endless Possibilities: Asana Templates and AI Are a Project Management Game-Changer
What do you like best about the product?
The possibilities with Asana are endless, which is great for a project manager. I love the templates to help provide a starting point for creating a project, and the AI option to help create a Project for me is also a game-changer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having endless possibilities is exciting, but also overwhelming. Getting started into Asana felt like a huge undertaking, and I'm still not fully comfortable with how best to use the platform because I feel like I should be using it in smarter ways.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's providing a comprehensive, true project management program to house all of our marketing team and projects in one platform.
Powerful Yet Intuitive Platform for Managing Multiple Initiatives
What do you like best about the product?
I love everything about this platform; it’s truly exceptional and ideal for organizations managing multiple parallel initiatives. It’s powerful yet intuitive, which makes it easy to use even for personal tasks. It gives me a clear, user-friendly overview when I need it, while still letting me dive deeper into dependencies and capacity planning through Gantt charts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, I honestly have nothing negative to say. I haven’t run into any issues, and I credit that to their attentive, efficient customer service team. It’s clear the team genuinely cares about its users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to assign responsibilities quickly and easily, and create and manage subtasks. It provides a complete operational overview of my projects. Furthermore, I appreciate the ease of generating reports and documenting progress directly on the platform-a significant advantage when working with clients who expect clear and structured updates.
Easy to Use with a Friendly Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
It’s easy to use, with a friendly learning curve.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes certain features are behind a paywall, and it can take the organization some time to catch up and follow through.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization, workload sharing, accountability, and traceability across projects and tasks.
Powerful Automations, UI Improvable
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Asana helps me have a clearer and more visual control of my activities. It sends me reminders of deadlines and allows me to automate my workflow. Additionally, I can send notices to my superiors, complete repetitive tasks faster, move tasks between different sections, and organize myself with the board view.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that you could polish your UI, as sometimes I find it difficult to interact with certain menus. It seems very oriented towards point & click use. Also, understanding the use of AI was a bit challenging for me. Perhaps accessing AI functions or when automating shouldn't be hidden. They could be more visual from the task section and the AI could provide me with useful information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to organize myself better, manage more than 20 campaigns at once, visualize my activities, receive deadline reminders, and automate my workflow, which makes it easier to handle repetitive tasks and notify my superiors.
