Great organization tool

I like the layout of Asana. It is sleek and straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how the tasks aren’t the main focus on the page. They’re pretty small in size

I’m able to keep my client organized. He has a list to refer back to.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take the time to play around with it before just diving in.
Versatile Project Management Application
What do you like best about the product?
I like the Kanban feature which I can easily share with colleagues and set different access levels (e.g., owner, member, can edit, etc). The Gantt chart and calendar features are also useful. Aside from that, if I am working on multiple projects, I can create a tracker using their new Portolio feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like how it is not very intuitive when it comes to design. Some non-tech savvy users may find it hard to navigate the subtasks, inbox, and attachments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used Asana for tracking the onbarding of our new employees. It is also very useful in terms of collaborating with coworkers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make the most out of Asana's features like kanban boards and portfolios.
Keeps everything organized
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to create project and track progress across multiple teams. It easily integrates with slack so I no longer have to receive a ton of emails.I also like how you can favorite projects. We have a large team of 25 people and the number of project can sometimes get out of control.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the inbox was a little easier to manage. It currently looks like a social media scrolling-esque news feed. I wish it looked more like gmail.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
project management. projects usually include 4 different teams (digital, content, web design, ad images) and it's easy to keep it all organized.
Asana is great for dedicated tram project management
What do you like best about the product?
Asana integrates with front and slack, making it extra easy to use. The level of organization is awesome and the girl submission for task requests feature is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I don’t like about asana is that it’s not effective unless your team is fully committed to using it and using it right... which really isn’t asana’s fault at all! I’ve used it in an agency setting and it was seamless. At a different, less organized for projects organization, it didn’t fare well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of workload and providing project updates to upper management.
Program to improve the organization in your company
What do you like best about the product?
I really like this system because it offers me excellent functions that allow me to solve my basic needs in my business. To have a system like Asana has been vital for me because it allows me to evaluate and control all the management of the different projects that I have in progress. It also allows me to assign tasks to my work team by placing the respective delivery dates of each task.
This system allows you to know all its functions using your trial period, and take each of the projects with their respective teams.
It is great to be able to use this system because as it is based on the cloud, I can know how the management is being carried out in real time from wherever I am through your mobile application.
With this type of systems you can customize all forms and each of the functions, thus achieving that Asana adapts to the style of my company and its work rate.

What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment I have no complaints about this system. However, report to the technical assistance team certain anomalies that arise from Asana from time to time. Also ask them to adapt some functions necessary for the proper performance of my company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thanks to this system allows me to manage not only the projects undertaken by my business, but also I can create and assign the members in each project, thanks to this I can save time and let my team be effective in the development of each one. the projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a versatile program to manage all your projects in an integral way. Asana is what your company will need, since you can work without being in your office. In case you have doubts about it, this software offers you its test time so you can go in order to get to know it more thoroughly.
Great for those who love checking off items on their list
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to add subtasks and (for premium users) dependencies are some of my favorite features of Asana because as a visual person, I love being able to see all the tasks associated with a project. Being able to assign and essentially order the process is helpful for things like employee onboarding.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I think I might like more features, like different visuals of a project, but for a basic project management template, it has what you need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are currently implementing a new HRIS and some of the onboarding features don't allow for what we need so we have been using Asana to keep track of all our checklists for onboarding, offboarding, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Spend the time setting it up how you want and try out the templates Asana has created. If you think about the process and what you need to accomplish and lay it out thoughtfully, Asana will definitely help you accomplish your projects and to-do lists.

What do you dislike about the product?
It's much better on the big screen on a desktop/laptop computer.

Complete set of tools for managing projects
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it on a desktop or a laptop not on a mobile device
Asana: Effective and constantly Improving
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Asana makes so easy to connect your entire team and all corresponding calendars in order to make sure everything is on track at any given point in time. They have also been adding features regularly that assist with workflow, status reports and other useful information about your team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how disorganized some of the layouts feel visually. I think that it was an attempt to provide alternative views (calendar view, task view, timeline view, etc) because everyone prefers something different, but because of this feature often times the platform feels clunky and disorganized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have had a lot of trouble finding a calendar that really works for our entire team and out of the 5 or 6 different platforms we have tried, Asana is the only one that has really stuck. Everyone has a different preference for how they want to work with their calendar and Asana provides the opportunity to use it how you want to while also being able to see other team members' tasks and progress.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Everyone has different needs for this type of product, Asana is great but I would shop around for what works for your needs.
Streamline your work process and stay up to date on projects
What do you like best about the product?
What's awesome about Asana is being able to visualize a projects progress and see who on your team is responsible for what task. There are multiple views: list, calendar, timeline.. and it can be customized per user. The app also integrates with adobe, outlook, and chrome (if you pay for a business account). There is a feature called forms that also allows you to take in tasks through submissions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that you can't pick which features you want to use, and that they're packages, but I guess that's every online app now that has multiple tiers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana creates more organization in our workplace and really allows for a great visual on what needs to be done and what is already completed
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Request a trial first through their chat. They'll help you and let your team try it out before committing.
Great for organizing team projects
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to view / add to / comment on each team member's to-do lists.
What do you dislike about the product?
Set up of a system that works for your team can be time consuming and confusing at first. Not all features are useful for everyone, so it can be a bit overwhelming to get started.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication regarding long-term projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look past the features you may not need- if you don' need them, then don't use them. Don't disregard the product because of too many features.
