What do you like best about the product?
I like the way it allows organization to be set for a team. Easy to follow up and easy to know when someone is stuck on a task.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that the set up for how many members. It is not cost effective if you want to add a whole company
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making sure that Operations team and Management team stay on track with assigned tasks since there are multiple projects running at the same time.

What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to use the board function and create my own columns to keep track of status of particular items in a project. I've also used it as a team to keep track of assigned tasks and status.
What do you dislike about the product?
The thousands of emails you get at first can be pretty off putting but once you adjust your settings its really manageable. I just wish there was something between all and nothing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Work flow is the biggest problem, losing track of where I am in my project and being able to track the progress of each item is invaluable. I love being able to see what status each piece is in and being able to create action from there.
Great Collaboration Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Personally I think the task management aspect is the best feature - version control, ability to collaborate, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the plans themselves were better - for example, we wanted to measure capacity for a specific person, but it ended up costing a lot more than expected since we had to upgrade the whole team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task management, collaboration, product launch management. We've definitely seen improvement with tasks not being lost/forgotten.

For meetings, everyone is able to add to the agenda, it makes it dynamic and useable

we are . able to run meetings much more efficiently, and I am personally able to keep my to do lists dynamic
Great way to organize task across clients
What do you like best about the product?
This allows for new projects and recurring tasks to be in one place. You can also respond to each task in the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to have one account across all clients to keep things in one place.

It helps to be transparent on when things are getting done.
Great for teams
What do you like best about the product?
The best feature is setting up subtasks. This effectively makes complicated tasks like an automated Gant chart. The project just flows to the next person, with no PM needed to move it to the next player. Great for creating efficiencies and smooth workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a lot to get familiar with, so many different ways to view things - but once you figure out its actually an asset because you can dial in your "dashboard" or preferred view just the way you like it. All those options afford you that personalization

"too many balls in the air" problem reigned in!
Fantastic way to collaborate across teams
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Asana offers project tracking tools in many different formats (Kanban, Gantt, calendar, lists, etc) so everyone on your team can track projects in the way which works best for them. The notifications help keep me on track of all of my work, and it's very easy to learn, but also offers the opportunity to dive deeper into full mastery.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform's inability to convert one template type to another (List to Board; Board to List) is frustrating and leads to redundant work when a workflow changes and you need to recreate a project task-by-task. Also, when you copy a task, it does not send you into the new copy, but keeps you in the original. This leads to data being lost if a new team member doesn't notice that they're not editing the duplicate they created.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using Asana to collaborate across teams within the same office as well as remote teams. We've simplified our bug reporting process so Customer Support can easily report issues to the appropriate people to triage to Engineering,
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely give Asana a try if you're looking for a project tracking tool. Like any tool, some people love it, some people are ambivalent. But with their bevy of features, it's worth a try.
Easy to use project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Asana was a good tool for my team to use in order to break down larger tasks. It helped us manage projects in whole and in part. It is a bit of a lightweight resource and may not be for use in more large-scale products.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface wasn't completely self-explanatory. It took team members a little while to realize how to use many aspects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The timeline feature was excellent. By assigning due dates and allowing the supervisor to see progress, we were able to keep on top of all aspects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For significant projects, Asana may not have the heavy lifting required. However, it is great for short-term projects.
