Usefull task management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Its very easy to use with user friendly interface. Allows to have a free basic account if your team is small it works well. It offers integration to grantt charts which is very important for project management. Best thing is it has mobile app, so you never miss any priority task.
What do you dislike about the product?
One factor i dont like is that i cannot assign same task to multiple users. Generally some tasks require more than one person’s attention.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation and project management made easy without the need to send email reminders to the team
Recommendations to others considering the product:
go for it
It’s So Easy!
What do you like best about the product?
My RAs were hesitant about using Asana at first because, per one of my top RAs, ‘it’s just another piece of technology and I hate having all this technology to keep up with’.
Well, Baby Girl, this is 2019, and gone are the days using paper forms and obnoxiously hounding my staff because I don’t know the progress. I see their progress on team projects, I can congratulate the folks that’re on the ball and get their tasks done, and encourage them to go light a small fire under the butts of the students that’re slacking (and scaring them a little by saying, “it’s better if you hear it come from me rather than Billy because if he finds out you’re behind...he’ll have you in a chokehold during the next staff meeting.”
It helps me heard the cats that are my 18-23 year old ‘adult’ staff, and even the one that was reticent to change and having just another thing to keep up with...she came around and said, “okay, I don’t hate it like I thought I would.” Trust me...that’s high praise coming from that little ray of sunshine and sprinkles.

What do you dislike about the product?
I had some problems getting some tasks assigned...it was a tinge cumbersome and redundant, but once that was out of the way, it was smooth sailing.

Read my ‘What Do You Like Best’ response because I answered that pretty much.
Asana- Simplified Project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
The ease at which the high level status can be depicted using this tool. Ease to assign the members, notes, due dates and filters.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not very detail oriented. Cannot be drilled into
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Asana as a Project Management Tool. User friendly and has a good gui
Great project management software
What do you like best about the product?
Love the functionality and features that allows my direct report and I to manage projects and our weekly meetings. Also love the sub tasks options that allows managers to provide detailed direction when needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't love using it for larger teams where you have to provide more context.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlining communications and provide clear direction on action/items and priorities.
Great for small teams, gets cluttered for larger teams
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is very easy to use and combines not only some well known project management concepts like kanban boards but also adds a twist on how you navigate and filter work. Great for small teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
When your team grows beyond say 15 people, work gets really cluttered and adopting a SCRUM or similar project management strategy that uses a more advanced tool such as JIRA becomes necessary, especially if you need flexibility and can afford the initial setup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps manage smaller teams and is great if you have a small team of freelancers that are self-starters. If you need to keep a closer eye on the work (say if there is a rapidly approaching deadline) or you have a larger team, there are better alternatives but for small teams, Asana is almost always the way to go.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you are selecting the right tool from the start. If you're a small team, chances are it's Asana but if it turns out one specific tool isn't right for you, it's really hard to change during a project.
Useful for content marketing an planning
What do you like best about the product?
The board system allows us to move through content marketing projects and manage content ideas and content strategy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Project management workflows could be improved a bit. I'd like to see functionality where we can set up timelines for people to work on specific parts of one task. Right now, only one person can be assigned to a task at a time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
More organization and clarity into the content marketing process. Visibility to others outside our team into the important work that we do.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure everyone is committed to maintaining their work, otherwise, things quickly get outdated.
Organize your office fast and easy
What do you like best about the product?
Asana enables users of all tech levels to easily organize the office and office projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are two main downsides to Asana: (1) tasks can really only be assigned to one person; and (2) sub-tasks are hard to work with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has been helpful to organize what we do in my office. While we can't capture every single thing we do, it is great for assessments and upper management stakeholders to see just how much we do and how the staff is contributing to the work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana is easy to implement in any office and they offer a free on-line version. I was able to organize my office immediately and all of the users felt comfortable using the product. Very few of my staff are tech savy, so this was a great option for us. It is especially helpful for when upper level managers want to know about our efficiency and quality of work. This was a nice supplement to offer outside evaluators when we wanted to know how well our office was doing and what we could do to improve.
An easy to use lightweight project management platform
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I don't have to be the one who nags stakeholders. Asana emails task owners after the due date to make sure that tasks don't become late. You can sort by date and plan the rest of your day and see what tasks are outstanding.
What do you dislike about the product?
The default home page doesn't sort by date which seems like an oversight. That seems like the most useful view. It is only a couple extra clicks but it adds up!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing GTM plans and organizing large groups all pushing to related goals.
Asana makes project management super organized!
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about Asana is that everyone involved can work on a project in real time without being in the same room.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly I don’t dislike anything about Asana. I’m a pretty baseline user. I’m not a project manager, just a follower. It does everything I would need it to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest benefit of Asana is the fact that you can also use it in an app. I love getting notifications to my phone when I may not be working at my desk at the moment.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I'd definitely recommend people use Asana to help with company-wide project management. This helps our entire church keep up with projects, and gets them moving much quicker than we could have otherwise.
Ultimate Project Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
This is my first time using a project management tool, I haven't used any in the past and like how easy it was to figure out how to use the software. It is helpful that all of our internal teams use Asana for projects so we can keep them all organized in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really have any complaints in terms of what I don't like about the software, sometimes it can be difficult to figure out where all of the separate projects live in Asana and which are mine, which ones I follow, and which ones I am active participant in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
-Cross-department collaboration
-Project Management
-Task completion
We use Asana internally for a lot of project management use cases. How I use it the most is to keep on top of other teams' projects that affect my team.
