Distribute your work easily with asana

What do you like best about the product?
With Asana I can work more efficiently because it allows me to order tasks and share them with my work team, its interface is very interactive and has excellent animated effects, it allows me to create templates for different types of projects and I can also configure my calendar to not forget any.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able to customize the cards more by adding logos or labels to be able to differentiate them more quickly, in terms of their price it is a bit high and it depends on the amount of people in my team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a business tool with which my team and I can work in a more orderly manner, its notification system always keeps us aware of the activities that are about to expire.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Before starting to work your project with Asana, it was recommended to verify if this management software has what is necessary for you.

The free version is good, the paid one is even better.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana manages to keep me and my team on track and in communication, which is impressive. I think this would be really good for all teams, but especially for remote ones. It's easy to manage projects, tasks, and subtasks, see status updates and calendars with all the due dates. With the paid version, you can create project templates and milestones that are very useful for saving time. Asana is very customizable.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you have a really small team, you might be paying for staff you don't have, as the minimum number of employees is 5. Additionally, there is no default way to display tasks. By default, it does not sort tasks by project or due date.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana makes it easy to keep all team members on the same page. It makes it very clear who is doing what and when it should be done.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I have used this product for about four years and it has always kept me organized for both large and small client accounts. It has been great overall. I have never had to contact support for anything really and that says a lot about them.

My favorite project management tool

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a really comprehensive project management tool and I really love how flexible it is in adapting to different preferences with 3 views: calendar, list, and board.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to have better shortcuts to be able to copy and paste tasks, instead of having to go into a specific task and selecting "duplicate" from the menu.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has allowed my team to collaborate seamlessly while working remotely.

Project Experience

What do you like best about the product?
The tracking panel allows me to quickly view the status of each task, filter by person and update the status of each. Something very good is the schedule, but the bad thing is that it is not active in the free version, they should activate it at least for a while so that everyone can meet and be encouraged to pay.
What do you dislike about the product?
Prices should be a little lower for small teams that we just started. I do not know if you can, but I would like to use it for my sales team, I do not know if it can be integrated into a CRM, it would be good to have an integration or to have some tracking functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been able to organize the work team and have short-term results.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try the work groups and the calendar, check the filters are very easy to use.
They give you a quick look at the pending tasks.
Try the schedule, it is only available for payment accounts, but it is very useful and it helps you to better organize the projects with deliverables, for example if you have different profiles and you have different milestones, this is complicated if you can not see a schedule, also It can serve you for a managerial report for your client.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana updates me every day of all the tasks assigned to me and they are all set according to priority or with the most due. You will immediately notice long overdue tasks since they are marked red.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far after using it for 2 years with my previous employer, I haven't encountered any major issues with the software but I was a bit confused when we started using or creating sub-task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It reminds me every day of my most priority task and most of all it helps a lot managing all my tasks whether they are recurring or not.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It helps a lot to maintain the quality of work and timeliness

Makes life more organized

  • November 01, 2019

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to track changes on email creatives.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can become confusing or overwhelming if you land on the main page, it takes some time to find exactly what you are looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to keep track of our changes in emails. Before Asana, the only way to track changes was going back on emails or looking at the previous PDF versions, that became frustrating fast! Now, anyone on the team can be brought to speed with a single thread of history.

Great way to keep everyone together and in the know.

What do you like best about the product?
Overall, Asana is a pretty simple, yet through, platform to use. It can manage a lot of details and provides a lot of flexibility for unique projects, applications, or workflows. It integrates with other platforms easily through Zapier. The learning curve is pretty flat which is great for onboarding new people. Viewing PDFs and Office docs works well. Interacting with Google docs is way, way better!
What do you dislike about the product?
I love being able to edit work on Google docs right in asana. I would love the same capability for Pages, Numbers, and Keynote as well as the archaic but still dominant Office documents.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's very easy to find answers to questions, assign and track work, and keep the business moving.
