Flexible and User-Friendly Task Manager
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Asana is flexible. You know, you can treat it like a document, so it's not just for tasks. You can put notes and information about the line items for each project, which makes it really flexible. I use it to schedule tasks with due dates mostly for myself, and it's nice that Asana is something I can check every day. It gives me reminders of the tasks that are due for the day for all of my projects. My husband also uses Asana, and his tips helped me realize how versatile it is. These are the aspects I like the most about it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the board view in Asana a bit clunky when working around tasks with pictures, especially for custom items. It's harder to present things with visuals during meetings to remind everyone what we're discussing. I wish there were a better way to view pictures for each task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to replace cumbersome Excel tracking, setting tasks with due dates and getting daily reminders, which helps me keep on top of my projects.
Outstanding Portfolio Management and Team Setup—Perfect for Running Multiple Teams
What do you like best about the product?
I love, I mean LOVEEEEE the portfolio management capabilities. I also really appreciate the team structure and their updated custom field manager. As someone who runs multiple teams, 10/10 setup for my business. I also appreciate the lack of guest limits. Much appreciated. I use it every day. It's also been around forever and therefore integrates super well with other tools. The goal planner is also stellar.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think they are lacking in customization of fields. I appreciate that URLs in text fields act as URLs but it's odd for example that I can't make a link only field. Also, the relationships work well but I wish it worked two-way so I didn't have to click into multiple databases. Lastly, I wish I could disable assignee and due date on some projects OR have "items" that are not tasks. Customer support is so nice, but a bit slow. Lastly, I WISH I could drill down into reports the way I can in ClickUp.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves my need for top-down view of my work. Reporting features are also helpful for capacity planning.
Effortless Task Management, Needs Better Search Functionality
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the ease of use of Asana, especially being able to go from one project to another and shift a task to a different project if necessary. It's also great to be able to link to multiple projects when needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search functions leave something to be desired; they're not really great. The AI has potential.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to keep tasks sorted, manage priorities, assignments, and due dates, which are critical for communication.
User-Friendly with Robust Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Asana is user-friendly and allows me to manage both my own workload and my team’s workloads. I appreciate that it has functions to tailor Asana to the needs of our team. The project management abilities and the templates really make it fit for our team, as it helps us automate tasks for large projects through templates. The fact that everything is customizable is great. The templates can be set up on the front end and used again and again, taking the planning step out for a lot of things. It gives us peace of mind because we’ve already thought through the necessary steps.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a better way to view each individual’s workload as a manager. I wish I could see the dashboard view for my team member’s days easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to manage both my own and my team's workloads collaboratively. It helps us track deadlines, automate tasks for large projects, and customize workflows with reusable templates, providing peace of mind.

Asana Keeps Work Clear, Structured, and Easy to Track
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Asana is how clearly it helps me see my work. All tasks are organized in one place, so I always know what I need to do and what is coming next. Creating tasks, setting due dates, and assigning work to team members is very simple. Even when projects become large, Asana keeps everything structured and easy to follow. I also like how flexible Asna is. I can view my work in different ways, such as lists, boards, or timelines. depending on what feels easiest at the moment. This helps me plan my day better and manage long-term projects without feeling overwhelmed. The reminders and notifications are helpful because they make sure nothing important is forgotten.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about Asana is that it can feel a bit heavy for very small tasks or simple personal use. If someone only needs a basic to-do list, Asana might feel like more than necessary. It takes some time to fully understand all features, especially for new users. Another downside is that some powerful features are available only in paid plans. For teams on a tight budget, this can be limiting. Also, notifications can sometimes become too frequent if settings are not adjusted properly, which may feel distracting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves the problem of work confusion and poor task tracking in many teams, work gets lost in emails. chats or meetings, and people are unsure about responsibilities and deadlines. Asana brings clarity by putting all tasks, deadlines, and ownership in one visible system. For me the biggest benefit is better focus and time management. I can clearly see my priorities for the day and plan my work without stress. It reduces mental load because I don't have to remember everything; Asana keeps track for me. It also improves collaboration. Everyone knows who is working on what, which reduces repeated questions and misunderstandings. Progress is visible, so meetings become more meaningful and shorter. It helps reduce follow-ups and constant checking. Earlier I had to ask people again and again about task status. With Asana, updates are already there, so I save time and avoid unnecessary messages. It brings accountability to the team. When a task is clearly assigned to someone with a deadline, there is less confusion and fewer excuses for delays. This makes everyone more responsible and improves overall work quality. It makes planning long-term work much easier. Big projects often feel scary, but Asana breaks them into small tasks. This helps me move step by step instead of feeling stuck or overwhelmed. It improves transparency between managers and team members. Everyone can see progress without pressure or micromanagement. This builds trust and keeps work relationships healthier. It helps me maintain work-life balance. Since my tasks and deadlines are clearly planned, I can finish work on time and avoid last-minute stress. I feel more in control of my day instead of reacting to chaos.
