Impeccable Portfolio Management and Customizable Workflows in Asana

  • February 27, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite feature of Asana is its impeccable portfolio management. Also, unlike many competitor tools, you are able to host subtasks in multiple lists, allowing for complex workflows, views, and automations. It's very user-friendly and easy to use. Even a beginner can easily create a project or task list. Goals are also incredible because they link seamlessly to projects and tasks. I appreciate the high level of customization. I use it every single day to manage projects across multiple businesses. It also is a software that has been around for many years, plus great API documentation, so it integrates really well with other tools. Thanks to templates and great guides on their free academy site, implementation is easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since tasks are the only type of true database item, it can become difficult to implement when you need to store information like contacts or checklists. Customer support is also a bit slow and convoluted compared to other tools I have used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves my need to be in multiple places at once. I can drill into the details of work as well as see work globally.

Versatile and Customizable for Streamlined Project Management

  • February 27, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how versatile and customizable Asana is with the custom fields, which allow me to get to grips with the information I'm inputting and gain new insights that way. I also like the different views, like the Kanban board and Timeline view. The custom fields are really useful because I can categorize information in a way that makes sense to me and is useful to me. Using the field library, all the teams can maintain consistency with their projects, and data can be compared across projects or teams more easily. The Kanban board offers a very simple but effective way to view my tasks and work out project progress. The Timeline view gives me an overview of what's coming up and what potential clashes or blockers there are.
What do you dislike about the product?
Managing users/licenses can be confusing since invited members are part of the user list but not counted in the remaining licenses. I would like a custom date field that can have a range. Also, more variations/possibilities for rules that don't use AI Studio would be good. Additionally, there was some confusion around licensing during the initial setup due to the plan we are on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me manage tasks all in one place, avoiding the hassle of switching between Outlook, OneNote, and Teams. It keeps me accountable with due dates, facilitates collaboration, and organizes project-related conversations, making information easier to find and manage.

Asana Keeps Our Projects Organized and Collaboration Crystal Clear

  • February 25, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Asana is how easy it makes it to stay organized, especially when managing multiple projects with many moving parts. It gives our team a clear, centralized place to track tasks, deadlines, and responsibilities. Everyone knows what they’re working on and what’s coming next, which keeps projects moving forward efficiently. It also eliminates the need to dig through long email chains for updates, since everything is documented and visible in one place. This has made collaboration smoother and significantly improved overall workflow clarity.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main limitation I’ve experienced is the inability to assign multiple people to a single task. Many projects involve shared ownership, and having only one assignee can sometimes create extra steps or require workarounds to ensure everyone responsible is clearly included. While collaborators can be added, it’s not the same as shared task ownership. Improving this feature would make task management even more effective, especially for cross-functional teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves the challenge of managing complex projects with multiple people, deadlines, and moving parts. It provides a centralized place where tasks, timelines, and responsibilities are clearly defined. This eliminates confusion, reduces reliance on email for project updates, and ensures nothing falls through the cracks. It benefits our team by improving visibility, accountability, and overall efficiency. Everyone knows what they’re responsible for and can easily track progress, which keeps projects moving forward smoothly and on time.

The best part about Asana is the way it simplifies planning while still giving full clarity on who is doing what. As an Indian professional, I really appreciate how easy it is to follow updates and coordinate with the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first, the number of views can be a bit confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana every day at our travel company to manage tour bookings, client follow-ups, and coordination between the sales and operations teams. Keeping task deadlines and comments in one place makes it easier for me to track each enquiry clearly and helps prevent missed actions, especially during busy seasons.
