Great Training Resources, Still Learning Asana
What do you like best about the product?
I'm still getting to learn Asana, but it seems they have great training resources. I do like the live trainings as they help me be able to click and follow along so I can learn the systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only challenge I have is learning the lingo. Which may just be because I'm new to the platform. There is a lot of lingo verbiage to try and comprehend, so I can make sure and know what I'm looking for or what I'm looking at.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm hopeful Asana will resolve tedious, time-consuming task management, keep things clean and clear, and help track visibility to ensure a good workload for our employees.
Intuitive Task Management with Some Collaboration Hiccups
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Asana is great for simple project management but also has the capability to go deeper. It's not overwhelming to figure out basic things, which is probably what most people need, but if you want to dive into deeper automations and workflows with AI, you can. The sky is the limit depending on what level you have. I also find Asana provides a better layout UI for people to understand and get into, making it easier and simpler. Initial setup is very easy too.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one thing that I always run into is when you assign two people, you can't you can kinda do it, but it splits the task. Into literally two tasks, and then you have to look at the two tasks. So if you're doing a task with someone and you assign both of you, then it splits it out. That person puts a comment, but it's only on their task, not my task. So it's not great for that. And you using, I think, ClickUp does a better job of this where if you need to assign two people, to one task that they're collaborating on, it's more fluid and keeps it into one task. That's kind of my biggest headache. Other than that, I mean, Asana's pretty smooth and great for most things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana organizes timelines, facilitates collaboration, keeps work visible, and supports agile marketing with sprint reviews and quarterly outlooks, benefiting my freelance contract marketing work.
Accessible Support and User Interface for Complex Project Management

The ability to create complex workflows and utilize AI capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like how customizable the software is. It can be used across different industries, roles, and projects, which makes it flexible for a wide range of needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I really value the ability to share timelines and roadmaps, and to give other users and key stakeholders access to them. It also makes it easy to track progress within projects.
Streamlined Project Management, Needs Improved Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Asana makes responsibilities very clear by allowing each task to have an owner, due date, comments, files, and updates all in one place. The notifications connected with external tools are great because they prevent the need for manual messaging for alerts, making it easier to follow up on issues and keep teams aligned. I also appreciate the flexibility of using projects, templates, and automations for different workflows, especially when they help connect the dots across different departments. These features help us turn different processes into clear, repeatable workflows, save time with templates, reduce manual follow-ups with automations, and keep the right people updated with external tool notifications. The project flexibility allows every department to organize work in a way that suits their process, while still maintaining visibility and accountability.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that could be improved is the reporting and dashboard flexibility, especially for more advanced operational tracking. Some automations and integrations can also be sensitive when permissions or connected accounts change, so clearer alerts and easier troubleshooting would be helpful. It would be helpful to have alerts when something stops working, especially if the issue is related to permissions, a disconnected account, or a broken connection with an external tool like Teams or Outlook. Instead of just seeing that a rule failed, it would be useful to see a simple explanation of what caused the issue and the exact steps to fix it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to keep tasks organized and visible, avoiding missed emails. It clarifies task ownership and deadlines, manages workflows, and connects teams through flexible projects and automations, saving us time and effort.

Easy Task Tracking and Goal Management with a Helpful AI Teammate
What do you like best about the product?
It’s easy to navigate, and creating projects is straightforward, which helps me keep an eye on how everything is moving along. I also like that I can set goals and subgoals and track progress across teams without losing visibility. On top of that, it’s simple to create a customized AI teammate that can handle a lot of information at once and still produce reliable output. The integration with Claude and Slack is great as well, since I can edit tasks via Claude and still see notifications while I’m working in Slack. Asana Academy also provides instructional content and videos that are easy to follow and help keep me up to date on new features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it’s hard for me to find a task if I don’t remember the exact keywords in the task name, but the AI teammate can now help with that. In addition, it can take some time for the AI teammate to handle more complex requests, and I think this could be improved in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It cuts down on the time I waste managing cross-team communication, since I can simply add someone as a collaborator. It also saves me a huge amount of time when I’m writing performance reviews, because a customized AI teammate can help me draft key contributions by summarizing my work and the work I collaborated on.
