    Centralizes Collaboration for Compliance Projects

    Reviewed on Jul 01, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I like Miro's infinite collaborative whiteboard with real-time editing as it allows multiple team members to work on compliance workflows, risk assessments, or security architecture diagrams simultaneously. The built-in templates for process mapping, brainstorming, and project planning save a considerable amount of time, and the features like comments and task assignments help ensure follow-up actions are tracked. Using Miro centralizes everything, which reduces miscommunication, speeds up decision-making, improves documentation quality, and helps complete compliance initiatives efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't find any major drawback of it, but I want to see improvement like it does not automatically collect audit evidence or continuously monitor security control like specialized compliance tools, also some advance collaboration, security and administrative features are available only in higher-tier subscription plans.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro centralizes collaboration for security and compliance projects, reducing miscommunication, speeding up decision-making, and improving documentation quality. It helps me create and manage process flow diagrams, risk registers, incident response workflows, and control mapping for frameworks like SOC2 and ISO 27001.

Effortless AI Integration with MCP Servers and Built-In Tools

    Reviewed on Jul 01, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of integrating the tools with AI, using MCP servers and other built-in AI functionality.
What do you dislike about the product?
Uploading images is a pain. I’d like Miro to let me upload images directly from the internet and use them to build the design.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a cloud architect, I use Miro designs to explain the build to users in a clear, easy-to-follow way. The interactive features also make the designs more expressive and help me communicate ideas more effectively.

Miro: Turns Complex Technical Workflows into Clear, Shared Visuals

    Reviewed on Jun 30, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
In my everyday work, I often need to explain technical ideas to people with varying levels of technical expertise. Miro helps me do that flawlessly by breaking workflows into clear, simple visuals that even those without a technical background can follow and discuss. It helps us examine all the different approaches and ensures everyone shares the same understanding before we move forward with any next steps.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only reason I'm not giving Miro a flawless rating is that its artificial intelligence bot isn't up to the mark. When I need to create an entire workflow before a meeting, it would be great if the AI could handle some of that work for me. Unfortunately, more often than not it doesn't understand the instructions and ends up producing something else.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been a great tool for mapping complex workflows into clear visual diagrams, making them much easier to follow and producing a properly structured version of each process. It has helped us ensure everyone is on the same page.

Infinite Canvas Bliss: Seamless Jira Sync and AI-Powered Diagrams

    Reviewed on Jun 29, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is my go-to place for brainstorming: the infinite canvas is a standout feature and is easy for anyone on my team to pick up quickly. I love how it syncs seamlessly with other tools like Jira, turning our ideas into real tasks without any extra manual work. The new AI features are a great addition, enabling us to convert rough thoughts into polished architecture diagrams in seconds. We have also been using Miro as our go-to trainer when onboarding new team members to support and cover their KT sessions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really love Miro, but the canvas zoom can feel a bit erratic and messy when you are jumping between massive boards. Also, the AI helper sometimes misinterprets prompts and builds the wrong architecture diagrams entirely. I wish the AI would show a quick outline or ask a couple of clarifying questions first, rather than just guessing and generating a layout you have to undo.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the chaos of disjointed teamwork by acting as a single visual hub where cross-functional teams can brainstorm, design solutions, and collaborate in real time. Instead of wasting time starting from scratch, ready-to-use templates let you jump straight into productive workshops. Its biggest benefit is instantly transforming abstract thoughts into concrete architecture diagrams, keeping product, design, and engineering perfectly aligned without endless meetings.

Miro Makes Planning and System Architecture Collaboration Effortless

    Reviewed on Jun 29, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Miro has been a great tool for our team during the planning and design stages of development. We use it regularly to sketch system architecture and map out service interactions before we even write any code. Having everything laid out in front of us makes it much easier to discuss different approaches and spot potential issues early.

Because everyone can contribute at the same time, our meetings have become more interactive, and we can explore more ideas without taking extra time. The boards are also easy to update as requirements change, so they remain a useful reference throughout the entire project.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only minor thing I'd personally like is more ways to customize the workspace. I often work on multiple projects at the same time, so having more control over the layout would make switching between boards a bit more convenient. Except that, Miro has all the features we need to create a proper and readable workspace.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro has made it far easier to align the team before development begins. Rather than hashing out ideas across multiple meetings, we can map workflows and plans on a single shared board. That means we spend less time revisiting decisions and more time actually building.
