The Professional Choice: Robust Vault Features with Nice Admin Oversight
Secure password vault has strengthened daily logins and reduced password-related issues
What is our primary use case?
My main use case for Keeper Enterprise Password Manager is onboarding users and using it myself.
A specific example of how I and my users typically use Keeper Enterprise Password Manager in our day-to-day work is to record passwords, and when you try to log into some site, it will autofill the records for you. I primarily use it to securely store passwords.
What is most valuable?
The best features Keeper Enterprise Password Manager offers are that it is easy to use, you can set up single sign-on so you can just log in with your 365 email, it is a great password generator and a great tool for storing passwords, and I appreciate how it autofills the records for you when you try to sign in.
My experience with the password generator and single sign-on shows that single sign-on is great because you can manage users without having to manually create user accounts. Users can just log in with 365, so the system will pull the users from there and whoever needs access can be added to the group. This seamless feature helps users avoid having to log in to the site using a separate email and password.
Keeper Enterprise Password Manager has impacted my organization positively because it is better to have your passwords recorded in a vault where it is more secure than just having it elsewhere.
A specific outcome I have noticed since using Keeper Enterprise Password Manager is improved security, as users are now having their sensitive information in a vault instead of having it on a notepad or in other documents on their computer. This has helped from the security perspective.
Keeper Enterprise Password Manager has helped reduce password-related issues.
What needs improvement?
I think Keeper Enterprise Password Manager can be improved by ensuring that you do not have to sign in every day to the vault.
It would be better if there was an option for an easy way to share the password with people who do not use Keeper, such as a one-time share where you can just share the whole folder instead of having to share each record.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using Keeper Enterprise Password Manager for one year.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
I find Keeper Enterprise Password Manager to be stable.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Keeper Enterprise Password Manager's scalability is good.
How are customer service and support?
I have never reached out to their support.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I did not previously use a different solution, as Keeper Enterprise Password Manager is the first one we use.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
Before choosing Keeper Enterprise Password Manager, I did not evaluate other options, as it was the first one we went to.
What other advice do I have?
My advice to others looking into using Keeper Enterprise Password Manager is that it can be a great tool, and I can definitely recommend it.
Password manager has strengthened daily device security and has simplified secure sharing
What is our primary use case?
My main use case for Keeper Enterprise Password Manager is to manage passwords as well as validating if any password has been compromised, as well as updating passwords and managing connections.
I use Keeper Enterprise Password Manager daily in my work. Every day, everything is now IP-based. Switches, IP devices, IoT devices—they all have login passwords, so I use this every day. I have a dashboard that tells me if any of those passwords are compromised, so I can quickly change them. I can make sure that they're using strong requirements for security.
What is most valuable?
I think Keeper Enterprise Password Manager is a great product when it comes to my main use case. I believe they've made a good improvement lately, especially with the security score and the ability to validate and automatically show if a password has been compromised.
The best features Keeper Enterprise Password Manager offers include simple management and importing exported CSV. The import-export feature has helped me by allowing us to import devices instead of adding them one after the other, and we can put them in a specific folder. At the same time, it will verify if existing passwords are compromised so I can update them.
I would also add that the ability to share passwords for temporary access and to share information in a secure way is another useful feature. It also binds access to the MAC, which enhances security features in the field, so I don't have to give passwords through chat.
Keeper Enterprise Password Manager has positively impacted my organization by improving our security posture. Many compromised passwords have been able to be changed, and we maintain high-level security, making sure that all devices are secured.
What needs improvement?
While Keeper Enterprise Password Manager has a good interface for password management, I believe they can make the feature for Privileged Access Management a bit more user-friendly, as right now it is somewhat complicated to get a privileged access manager running in both development and production environments.
Regarding improvements needed for the deployment of Keeper Enterprise Password Manager, I would like to see a simple way to install requirements on servers so they can easily be accessed through it and use Privileged Access Management . Right now the installation is somewhat complex as there is scripting to be done. It would be great for that setup to be more simple for operators.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using Keeper Enterprise Password Manager for three years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
Keeper Enterprise Password Manager is very stable.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
One thing to note is that the thick client user interface could be improved a bit. However, I mainly use the web interface, which is great and stable. So far I've been able to import many devices and servers, and I haven't had any problems when it comes to enterprise scalability.
How are customer service and support?
The password management portion of Keeper Enterprise Password Manager did not require any customer support because it is so simple and the training is easy to understand that I have never required customer support. The only portion that might require customer support is the Privileged Access Management.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I previously used other solutions, but I don't want to name them yet. The reason I switched is that Keeper Enterprise Password Manager can do different things—not only password management but also verify if passwords are compromised and has Privileged Access Management. Those additional features made it more suitable to use.
What was our ROI?
I believe the return on investment with Keeper Enterprise Password Manager is the fact that my organization's process is more professional and secure when it comes to passwords. However, I have no metrics yet to share for that.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing for Keeper Enterprise Password Manager is that pricing is fair. Licensing is very simple to understand, so I think the sales process was extremely simple as well. I think Keeper Enterprise Password Manager did a great job not only on sales but also on training, as they have training videos that make it very simple for users to understand how to use the password management portion.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
Before choosing Keeper Enterprise Password Manager, I evaluated other options.
What other advice do I have?
My advice for others looking into using Keeper Enterprise Password Manager is to have a great folder structure and define the right structures for the devices when it comes to servers, IP types, and types of IP devices like cameras, access control devices, and audio devices, with a good structure for the folders.
I give this review a rating of 8.5.
