Positive experience overall!
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing is that it's easy to use for someone who is not on the accounting team. I haven't had any technical issues and find intacct easy and simple to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren't many downsides since it serves its purpose pretty well. The one thing I don't like is if I've entered in all my information for a purchase requisition and I go to change the item ID for the item line, it erases the amounts I have entered. This can be tricky to fix, so you have to be extra careful to complete the item ID correctly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Intacct has been helpful to look up payments to vendors in the past. When I first started my job, I looked through payments we had made to partners in the past years when I wasn't with the company to better understand the project I was working on.
A fairly intuitive and user friendly platform
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easily laid out and can be used quickly, particularly if you're a new employee. I appreciate the clear financial reporting features that allow you to track spending across months, quarters. As someone who manages individual projects with large budgets, having this ability is vital for project management purposes. The purchasing feature/process simple to use and if you have recurring payments to specific vendors there are functions you can use to copy purchase requisitions to quickly submit. I also appreciate the ability to drill down to the GL to understand where/when expenses are hitting certain accounts - this allows for a more nuanced understanding of project expenditures.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the user experience and functionality could be updated that could streamline certain processes, particularly in the purchasing platform. Certain features such as having manually uploading files to purchase requisitions could be amended to have a drag and drop feature in order to streamline. Additionally, if incorrect files have been uploaded, it's difficult to simply add or replace them without having to undergo the entire submission process again. Overall, however, these are small issues that do not take away from the overall experience with the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are utilizing Intaact to solve internal issues related to financial data and tracking for auditing purposes. Benefits are that information is easy to access to assist with processes such as these. We specifically use the Purchasing processes to identify when specific PRs have been paid out to ensure our

What do you like best about the product?
I like the cost center manager dashboard, it allows me to manage budgets easily and effectively. I also use the purchase requisition function which is extremely useful. I have been using Intacct for four years now, which has given me time to learn how to best use the system. Because of this I find it indispensable to my work.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a bit of time to learn the system. However once you do it is worth it. I would say things get easier as you use them. Additionally, as I have used intacct over the years it has gotten much better and I am happier with the services every year. I would say some of the updates have changed the system drastically and tutorials would help me learn these new updates more quickly. I dislike not being able to submit a PR with multiple class codes. This can be quite frustrating when I am processing reimbursements or consultant payments for those working on multiple projects. Additionally, I would think this feature would smooth out the process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is much easier to manager budgets across multiple programs. I have definitely increased my efficiency through using this wonderful dashboard and I am very happy with the extensive services it offers. I would also say I am solving inefficiency by eliminating the need for outside tracking software, because I can manage everything in the system .

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Sage Intacct is the general ledger coding, it makes things easier for me. The reports are great as well. They allow for alot of customizing of the reports to meet my needs and the needs of my Controller and Director of Finance.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike is the fact that i am not able to reprint a check. Having to void and redo the entire process is a little aggravating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intaact has made it helpful for me to show my Controller what i need to pay by sending a report thru Sage Intaact via Excel. Prior to that we were on paper.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There is a little learning curve to Sage Intacct but overall it has made my job a little easier and most helpful when having to do reports.

What do you like best about the product?
Constantly improving and changing the experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
A small thing, the software background colors change a couple of times a year.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our business has grown a lot since we have started with Sage Intacct. Adding new divisions is very easy.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend working closely with your implementation team. The more time on the front end you take, the better your long term experience will be.

Certain functions don't have the options to add data that I would prefer in order to make my tasks easier

We have improved the purchasing flow through Sage Intaact. Getting managers approvals through the system has helped to speed up and enhance our purchasing process.
Good on the whole but UX could be improved

Very user-friendly for financial management! Easy to teach to new hires
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful part of Sage Intacct is that the interface is so easy to navigate. It is so easy to teach to new hires when it can be tricky to do so with young professionals. I love the reporting features offered by Sage Intacct.

Sometimes Sage Intacct will time-out on my work which is very frustrating. The reporting can get confusing at times but that is always fixable by contacting the support team at Sage Intacct. T

A problem in the past was that month-end closing was taking too long and Sage Intacct has increased our efficiency. In the past it would take us a full month to close our books but now we consistently close the books in a few days.

It is so easy to use and very affordable compared to their competitors.
Intacct Contracts - Revenue SME
What do you like best about the product?
Contracts Module - The Contracts module is simple to use once configured. MEA allocations are easy to generate, quantity billing is easy to manage and overall this module provides excellent improvements to unbilled/billed/paid tracking of the progress of your contracts.
The help database is very detailed and provides descriptions for every Intacct field and the community offers resources to add custom fields/ new reports/ document customizations.

What do you dislike about the product?
I import templates directly into Intacct and via API. I would appreciate improvements to the error message, when an import fails I would appreciate more guidance on resolving an error message and possibly a machine learning suggestion on what the valid values for that field are or a n example of a valid value to review and re-import. To be fair this is a request I have for other ERP systems such as Oracle NetSuite and SAP as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing Contracts/Revenue. As I mentioned above being able to easily see the unbilled/billed/paid state of contracts this saves alot of time with reconciliations.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider the time you spend outside of your ERP and review Intacct's capability to complete reconciliations within the software. Automatch and Integrations will save you man hours and take days off of your month end close schedule.
