Intuitive and comprehensive
What do you like best about the product?
It is intuitive, and easy to learn how to navigate entities and tabs, as well as how to easily find previous transactions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything that I dislike about Intacct.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to record all transactions - whether bill payments, customer payments, cc transactions, etc., for various entities - in an easy to use format.
Straightforward interface
What do you like best about the product?
I like the way Sage Intacct has a basic, straightforward interface. It's not difficult to find what you're looking for. With other software, things tend to get convoluted.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't come across anything that I would consider a dealbreaker, or needlessly complicated. While there's always room for improvement with any platform, I don't see anything glaring to point out at this point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It streamlines the PO Approval process . I do not find it difficult to navigate, or submit required purchase order requests. It keeps me from having to print a lot paper invoices.

Shared environment. Love that it automatically consolidates.

I don't like that you can't look within nominals by location/dept like you can in sage 200

Reporting
Intuitive, saves time!
What do you like best about the product?
I feel Intacct is very easy to navigate. It's obvious to find things and it's not overcomplicated!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the fields don't expand big enough. For example, when I add in Project Updates I need to put a lot of verbatim in and I can't see what I've typed

What do you like best about the product?
The upside of using Sage Intacct is that we are able to track our actual cost from start to finish and we can get a more accurate review of what is that we need to improve within our company
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that sometimes within Sage it feels like we might be a little limited and some reports that we are able to create as well as little shortcuts that we are able to use within Sage
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage has helped us by improving our cost-tracking system and we have been able to see which areas we need to improve within our company it has also given us a tool to see the more clearly.
Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
I like how how customizable the reporting is to meet our needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Running large consolidated reports takes a long time to export to excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us house all the accounting for our dozens of entities in one place and you can easily switch back and forth between them.
A little difficult to maneuver around the app but overall the experience is positive.
What do you like best about the product?
The layout is easy to understand and helpful when making journal entries or running reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inability to have multiple tabs moving around the app at the same time except for reports. Also, how often I get locked out for inactivity.

Making accounting journal entries and running reports for the client.
Great flexibility, but customization takes too long.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility of this platform as opposed to other, more rigid platforms I've worked with. In the past with other platforms, I couldn't just remove a bad entry. I would have to create reversals. Not having unnecessary reversals is helpful when it comes to the reconciliation processes. Because of this flexibility and the fact that there are rarely any reconciliation issues between the sub ledger and the general ledger, I'd highly recommend this software pack.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike most about the software is the lack of customization of the platform. It took me three months to get a working invoice template from them. I would also like to add that the color schemes and company logo cannot show a semi-customizable platform. Creating a color coding system for divisions in the software would be most useful. They are getting along the way with some automated tasks, but there is still a long way to go to complete push-button automation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing multiple companies and bank accounts that do not have API's is most laborious. I would much rather have an AI discern items, and then the user reviews the AI's work for accuracy, including reading and reconciling a bank statement. Managing a workup for pre-paids processing by working out the expense period where possible without input from the user. Managing a detailed and easily reportable fixed assets schedule and entry detail, making disposition seemless. Essentially I would like the automation that would allow a Fortune 500 to be run by a single individual and an interconnected network of users that could invoice and pay across the platform.

The website is pretty straightforward. It is user-friendly for the most part.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like there could be more modernization. I wish it were a bit easier to input time sheets without have to do it complete every week.

Great System
What do you like best about the product?
Some of the upsides of Sage Intacct is the control that you have over the information you are reporting. Items are not easily changed, which allows for more precise reporting and less possibility of being accidentally changed at a later date.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the same breath, one of the maint things I dislike about Sage is not being able to change items after I've entered them, like the date of a bill. If one of my employees enters a bill as draft mode and I go in to approve it, why am I not able to change the bill date?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage is solving the problems of adding dimensions that we are not able to get in other systems. We are seeing a lot more detail in our reporting than we were before!
