Essential Tool for Streamlined Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
I use Jira primarily for project management, sprint planning, and issue tracking. It helps my team manage software development cycles efficiently — from creating tasks and assigning them to tracking bugs and monitoring progress. We rely on it daily to stay organized and aligned across multiple projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main downside is that the interface can feel complex for new users. However, once you understand its logic, it becomes a powerful system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Jira, we struggled to keep track of who was working on what and when tasks were due. Now, everything is centralized — I can easily see project progress, dependencies, and blockers in real time. It’s improved transparency, accountability, and collaboration within the team

Jira — Makes Team Collaboration Effortless
What do you like best about the product?
Recently, I’ve started appreciating how much better the automation and rule-based triggers have gotten. Small things like auto-assigning tasks, updating statuses, and sending reminders save a lot of time. I also like the newer UI refinements—boards feel faster, and switching between issues is much quicker now. Overall, it’s become even more convenient for day-to-day work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that still feels a bit overwhelming is the deeper configuration part. Setting up workflows or permission schemes can get confusing if you’re not experienced with Jira. A more beginner-friendly setup guide or simpler templates would definitely help new teams get comfortable faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira helps us keep all our work in one place, which has made project tracking much clearer and more consistent. Before, tasks were scattered across different tools, and it was hard to follow progress. Now, with Jira’s simple UI and organized boards, everyone can quickly see who’s doing what without extra meetings. The tool was easy to implement, and we could customize it to match our workflow as we grew. The wide range of features, like reporting, dashboards, and automation, helps keep projects on track and reduces manual effort. I use Jira throughout the day to plan sprints, check updates, and monitor progress. The integration with other tools we use is smooth, which helps keep everything synced automatically. And whenever issues come up, customer support resources—like community answers and guides—help us solve them quickly. Overall, Jira has made our processes more organized, predictable, and efficient.

What do you dislike about the product?
Jira is great overall, but it can feel a bit complicated at first. There are so many features and settings that take time to get used to. Once you learn your way around, though, it works really well for tracking projects.

Effortless Bug Tracking and Seamless Integration
What do you like best about the product?
Jira makes managing bugs and test cases simple and organized. I like how it integrates with our test management tools and allows clear communication between testers and developers. The customizable workflows and dashboards make tracking test progress effortless.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a tester, I find Jira’s reporting and test management features limited without third-party plugins like Zephyr or Xray. Setting up custom workflows can be time-consuming, and searching for issues sometimes feels slower than expected. It’s great once configured, but getting there takes effort.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Jira, tracking bugs and test progress across multiple tools was messy. Now, everything—from bug reports to sprint testing—is in one place. It saves time, improves communication with developers, and gives us clear visibility into what’s ready for release.

A powerful and reliable tool - performance tweaks would make it perfect
What do you like best about the product?
I love Jira's flexibility, which allows me to customize workflows, boards, and dashboards to perfectly match my team’s specific processes. This customization capability is invaluable as it supports our unique QA process, from test planning to bug resolution, without being constrained to a fixed format. The real-time tracking of QA progress and the ability to keep everyone synchronized, including developers and management, is another standout feature. The integration with other tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, TestRails, and Slack is seamless, providing a comprehensive view of the QA cycle from commit to deployment without losing context. I appreciate that Jira is cloud-based, ensuring all team members across different departments have synchronized and up-to-date access without encountering version or access issues. This cloud-based aspect also made the initial setup much simpler as there was no need to manage servers or installations. Additionally, the boards facilitate easier sprint tracking and daily stand-ups, offering instantaneous visibility into what's in progress or blocked. The dashboards provide excellent real-time visibility for tracking open bugs, test coverage, and release deadlines. In summary, Jira’s overall structure, automation capabilities, and vibrant integration with other software significantly improve team collaboration and project visibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Jira feels heavy and slow, particularly when managing projects with many issues or plugins. Configuring complex workflows or permissions can be difficult without administrative assistance. I find the reports and dashboards less intuitive to customize without resorting to additional add-ons. Performance optimization is needed for large projects, as pages occasionally lag with numerous tickets or detailed dashboards. Simplifying dashboard configurations would be beneficial, even for experienced users, who often require admin rights for minor adjustments. Built-in reporting could be made more versatile so teams aren't reliant on third-party add-ons for visualizations. Additionally, improved integration insights between Jira, Jenkins, and automation tools could enhance QA tracking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Jira to organize QA and release workflows, enhancing issue tracking, bug prioritization, and team communication. It provides real-time visibility on project progress and integrates with tools like Jenkins and Bitbucket, supporting a seamless QA cycle and improving collaboration.
Unmatched Power and Flexibility for Agile Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
It’s like Excel, it has so many features but just using basic features well and automating it makes life so much easier for everyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
I love and hate it. My manager and my teammates could see what I'm working on at the same time it feels like it's important to show off your work in a big corporate where you struggle to make contributions as a single entity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Every story is tagged to a component, an epic and a program. Every story is liked to a development story. It provides 100% transparency to everyone involved and makes tracking work easier. I also use it to populate confluence documentation for reporting.
